Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
Phoenix · 23/01/2008 20:35

Its a video link csws i couldn't find a written bit of news.

Phoenix · 23/01/2008 20:40

Ah found some just for you csws here

Phoenix · 23/01/2008 20:45

Dh has took ds out for a walk with the dog to see if the fresh air will knock him out a bit . He's never been up this late.

Phoenix · 23/01/2008 20:49

Forgot to say yay for bath Jas

Hope your 11 weeks goes quick Macca.

for RFL mrm, no idea re your thread sorry.

csws is the sleeping bag not working tonight then?

CantSleepWontSleep · 23/01/2008 20:53

Found a piece on the BBC already thanks Phoenix.

Sleeping bag will hopefully ensure sleeping through (ish), but getting her to sleep initially is still a big problem.

CantSleepWontSleep · 23/01/2008 20:58

Do any of you have a costco card or know anyone who has?

Phoenix · 23/01/2008 21:02

I've got an out of date one if that helps

CantSleepWontSleep · 23/01/2008 21:05
Hmm
Phoenix · 23/01/2008 21:07

It ran out in Sept and we haven't been back to renew it yet .

Phoenix · 23/01/2008 21:09

Do you want to know something or do you want to go to one cos I think Leeds is a bit far to come

CantSleepWontSleep · 23/01/2008 21:15

I want someone who I can feasibly see in the near future to go and buy me a Tefal Actifry!

Phoenix · 23/01/2008 21:19

Ah i'm probably no good then!!

DontDreamItBeIt · 23/01/2008 22:12

I have a friend with a costco card, but sh is ill, and probably won't be going for at leas a month, sorry.
I will ask when I see her next, just in case.

@ murder....I go the link to play ok, too.

Is she asleep yet csws?
DS is doing ok now as lon as I keep him awake all day.

He got hold of a tester pot of blue paint today and emptied i all over my carpet. I think I've go it all out, but it is one of a long string of disasters here today.

OP posts:
CantSleepWontSleep · 23/01/2008 22:26

Oh dear - on your newly cleaned carpet too!

Yes, she was just about asleep when I posted earlier, but I put her to bed at 7:30 as we were up a bit earlier this morning, so it had taken 45 mins of cuddling, coaxing, leaving to scream etc etc to get her there. I am unreasonably tired at the moment, so it is bothering me more than it sometimes would.

On that note, I am going up for an early (for me) night. No doubt I will have to do a bit of cuddling on the way up, as I think her door is open again.

Frizbe · 23/01/2008 22:42

Jas eeek for paint.....yay for bath

Hi Macca great news you'll be qualified soon.

EPPM lol

Phoenix for car

Flame for tv, even if its not the one you quite want, at least you can watch CSI now!

CSWS at dd, glad she managed to get herself out, its not nice when they attmept things like that.

Dd1 did ballet today loves it, hurrah, especially as its at the school that she may be going too, was good for dd2 as well, as she can play in sandpit and read books whilst waiting mind you she did randomly throw up this afternoon, whilst we were watching dd1 swimming, I can only assume it was due to having swallowed too much water herself during our swim earlier?? nice lifeguards cleaned it up and said they'd seen far worse good job I had a change of clothes with me!

Frizbe · 23/01/2008 22:43

cross posts CSWS for the bad bed time, really hope she's not getting up for you again now {{{{Hugs}}}

OriginalFlame · 23/01/2008 22:43

If MrCSWS is home, then hell yeah it is fine to opt out of bedtimes.

Opting out of night shift completely was the only way we got DS sleeping through (when he was sleeping through )

Is it possible to be constipated the day after diarrhoea? far tmi alert, but I was bad yesterday morning, one last lot yesterday afternoon. Nothing since (at all), but that isn't desperately uncommon for me, but tummy ache that hurts lots when I uncurl. Tis around just above pelvis and going down in. I have tried eating, and a warm bath incase it was hunger or anything, but nothing has helped. About to sleep and hope it is gone by the morning or it will be a trip to the doctor. Gah.

for murder. They seem to be becoming more common round here lately

CSWS - Please can you email me and tell me who the pregnant person is!!!! I am crap at remembering details of anyone's lives

EachPeachPearMum · 23/01/2008 23:30

Flame- is pain acute? or general ache?

csws- she going back to her true form then? its sooo hard, and I really feel for you.
re Actifry thingy- if its similar to oven chips....why not have oven chips? Or do you fry other stuff?

mrm- just read your marriage story- v.v.similar to mine. and we only told the 2 witnesses 1 hr before ceremony!

Phoenix- how is the car?? for murder, though hardly uncommon where we are...

macca- what are you doing? (ie qual)

ddibi- yet again that little village you live in comes up trumps rofl (re purse) sorry for the rest of your day esp carpet! yikes.

OriginalFlame · 24/01/2008 07:00

Took me ages to work out who ddibit was

Pain is more of an ache, until I uncurl/roll over and then it stabs more.

I have no idea if it is a wind thing or not now Still hurting this morning and very bloated looking.

CantSleepWontSleep · 24/01/2008 07:42

I don't actually fry anything EPPM. We either have bought oven chips or I make my own oven chips, but I can't resist a new and exciting gadget .

Flame - I think you need a trip to the doctor's. You have mail re pregnant person.

She slept through again til 7am. She's getting less sleep in total than when she had an afternoon nap though, despite v active days .

OriginalFlame · 24/01/2008 08:47

DS is the same with the lack of sleep - he is going to bed ok, but waking so much in the night he must be getting sod all in total

So what will youo do with your actifry??

Waiting on a doctor to phone me back - it was that or a sit and wait appointment, and I thought that he might be able to turn round and say "Oooh, trapped wind is common with this bug" If not, it means I get given an actual appointment to see him

mustrunmore · 24/01/2008 08:49

Well, my friend that you've met has a costco card. She's working today tomorrow then my Mum is down. I think she's trying to avoid the place to stop geting tempted, but i'll certainly ask for you! How much are they in there then?Do you know for certain that they have then?

Flame, you've got alot to answer for . Since last night, I've had terrible tummy ache. To be fair though, I dont think its the same as yours as it feels more like period pain (but I'm not due for almost 3 weeks). But I still think its you sending me vibes! Are you going to docs then?

EPPM.. you stalking me again? We did it like that because we were skint and couldnt face all the hasle. First time I had a proper do and reception, and it was a right pain TBH.The classic of it all ending up about the guests and the table settings rather than the point of the ceremony!

OriginalFlame · 24/01/2008 08:51

Feels periodish too (hence my confusion) - sort of period with stabby bits every so often.

Always good to share the love Psycho had my labour with DS, so be very afraid should I fall pregnant again - apparently shared labour involves stomach cramps and throwing up. It stops as soon as baby is born!

mustrunmore · 24/01/2008 08:52

Do Not Ever Get Pregnant then.

This has no stabby bits, just the ache.

Phoenix · 24/01/2008 08:58

Bloody weather. It was ok when i got up but instead of taking the dog straight out for a walk i got in the bath. Now i'm ready to take him out its p*ssing it down

It was just after 9 when ds went to bed, and surprisingly he was out like a light and slept all night, got up at 7.30
