OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
EachPeachPearMum · 22/01/2008 21:56

oh, yes! sorry You mean you didn't hear the rest of the 'thread in my head'????

DontDreamItBeIt · 22/01/2008 22:06

Very confused this evening. TV (lack of, due to having an account?) and the whole do-nut thread in eppms head.

Oh well.

My bath is being delivered at 7.30am, but will have to go in the shed for a bit The end of the plastering is in sight at last though.

I need to get th painting under control now. There is so much to do, I'm just not getting enough done.

OP posts:
EachPeachPearMum · 22/01/2008 22:11

Hey Ddibi, if you install it in there, it could be like a sauna!

CantSleepWontSleep · 22/01/2008 22:15

So no TV and flame's still not on here . Is she still drnuk?

Yes, would love to meet another time EPPM .

I take it dp isn't going to do any of the painting then Jas?

Sleeping bag seems to be helping tonight too, but have just had to give medised as well, as her teeth are hurting (top canines are v close).

Phoenix · 22/01/2008 22:18

for plastering nearly done Jas

re tv order cancelled Flame. for hangover and bug.

Hope everyone's ok today

I get my car at 11am

DontDreamItBeIt · 22/01/2008 22:26

CAR! Phoenix.

DP doesn't paint csws. He criticises my painting I can ignore this as the plastering has been really hard work for him. He needs to move onto bathroom fitting and bedroom furniture making anyway. I don't want him painting when I can be doing it!

OP posts:
CantSleepWontSleep · 22/01/2008 22:47

Right, I'm off to bed. Enjoy your new bath/car.

Anyone know anyone who's got one of these btw?

DontDreamItBeIt · 22/01/2008 22:58

No
And I probably never will at that price unless you get one csws!

OP posts:
mustrunmore · 22/01/2008 23:23

looks like asnother gadge to takt up tooom to me csws!

flame is in bed reading

OriginalFlame · 23/01/2008 07:35

Flame went to bed at 8.45pm last night Feel completely drained today but my stomach appears to be co-operating.

No tv they said was because I already had an account set up (different email address) or I had already used the card with them before (I haven't). I don't know if they think you are more likely to be doing dodgy stuff with two email addresses

Surely half the world has 2 email addresses?

Phoenix · 23/01/2008 08:31

dh has just rung me from work, he's heard on the radio that the road that the car showroom is on is closed in both directions due to a magor police incident. I might not get my car , hopefully its open by 11.

OriginalFlame · 23/01/2008 08:57
Sad
mustrunmore · 23/01/2008 09:33

Oh dear. Although TBH, I'm intrigued as to what the najor incident is!

Just entered this years RFL.Have picked a day whwn dh is at work, so even if I'm employed by then, I would be off anyway IYSWIM> Will need to get my Mum to look aftre the boys and my friend to look after her lookinf after them! At least I have a bit of an aim now, albeit a very short race.

Phoenix · 23/01/2008 10:15

The road is open now. Will find out later what the magor incident was but knowing the road it's on i'd guess at a car/lorry accident.

mustrunmore · 23/01/2008 10:28

help!!

Teuch · 23/01/2008 11:42

I've posted something...I am a fundraiser so I should have something knocking about in this head of mine but it is a bit fuzzy after wine last night .

Will give more thought...

at possible dar delay Pheonix...sod's law!

2boysmacca · 23/01/2008 12:39

Hi ladies

Pg you must be in receipt of your car by now

How is everything? I've only read the last few posts, too much to read otherwise. What happened about the new digs you were looking at Flame, I remember seeing you were looking at a place?

Mrm, 'fraid I can't help you on the fundraising, but you can always sponsor me to do mine Did you know they are also doing the first London half marathon in October?????

Busy busy busy here, trying to sort out the house once and for all. Have a builder round in an hour to quote for an extension. The quotes just come in for the family bathroom and ensuite. Is yours nearly done Jas?

I only have another 11 weeks until I'm qualified now, where has that time gone?? Right, better do a little more study whilst the boys are quiet.....

OriginalFlame · 23/01/2008 19:01

No bath Macca

Is the car here yet???

We are in ownership of a working tv though

yay for your only 11 weeksness.

I can't work out if my stomach ache is leftovers from yesterday, or related to that crampy thing last week. If it is still there in the morning I will have to go see GP and risk looking when he turns and tells me "tis just after the sh*ts"

If it isn't leftovers then I am broken

DontDreamItBeIt · 23/01/2008 19:42

Yay! tv. You can watch repeat CSI tonight. (Not exactly a cheery episode though)

We have a bah In the shed

Tell me all the quotes are ridiculously huge, macca, then I will feel better about the incredibly slow progress here
11 weeks willgo in no time

I've had the oddest of days today. Nothing went to plan, everything I tried to do failed. When I go home from Brownies I had amessage on my phone telling me I had dropped my purse in Tescos car park The very honest lady who found it delivered it back to me

And apologised for rifling through it (to find a receipt with my address and phone number on them)

mrm - I will post and bump your thread but am rubbish at fundraising.
If you are prepared to do the things suggested, and ask everyone you have ever met to sponsor you you will probably be surprised. My dad raised £2k to go trekking in Peru a couple of years ago.

OP posts:
mustrunmore · 23/01/2008 19:50

Hmm, but thas the thing; I dont think I want to do all that jus for a 10km, it'd be daft.

wow for getting your purse back! Sooooo rare that a nice person would find it!

No run tonight; I just fell asleep puting ds2 to bed , so I'm having a quick bath to get warm then bed myself.

Phoenix · 23/01/2008 19:54

Yep got the car It's fab

The police incident was a murder

Yay for tv Flame

mustrunmore · 23/01/2008 19:57

See, I knew it wa ssomething really dramatic.

Phoenix · 23/01/2008 19:59

Ds is still up, he's been so mischevious (sp?) and a right little live wire. He napped from 3 - 4.30 (dh's fault) so he's nowhere near tired now and just been a pain in the butt, to put it nicely

CantSleepWontSleep · 23/01/2008 20:17

Where's the form for me to opt out of bedtimes? Can't take much more of them at the moment.

Will go read now.

CantSleepWontSleep · 23/01/2008 20:29

Can't read your link Phoenix - wrong software or something (prob because of mac, rather than link itself).

Yay for car and bath and tv and returned purse and only 11 weeks left!

So, we went swimming this afternoon with the boy from 'over the road' (2 months older than dd) and his mum. When we had finished we showered, stripped the kids off, then dd went into a cubicle, shut the door, then locked it. She wouldn't/couldn't unlock it again, and we couldn't do it from the outside. Friend stayed with her whilst I went to ask at reception if there was anything they could do, but when I got back to changing room she had, thankfully, already let herself out. Phew!
