molly has 2 meals aswell, though she had 3 yesterday, as she has loads of the banana custard the other dc had for their dessert at dinner time!

my AF is all over the place - am hoping the PCOS hasn't come back and it's just me getting used to having my coil!

fpesha · 10/01/2008 10:31

Glad the funeral went as well as can be expected Leaky. Shopping sounds like a good idea! If I wasnt so lazy had the car I'd be shopping myself!

Yes SPB it is same friend. She is having a hard time atm so I shouldnt really moan.

Good to know I'm not the only person not sticking to the BLW too strictly.

SPB - why is T not really eating, is he ill? Although sometimes I think they just go through stages of not eating much. M and N still do it, especially M. I try not to make a big deal about her not eating all her tea as then it becomes a big issue iyswim but shes not finished a meal for weeks until last night and her face is starting to look really skinny again so think I might have to start nagging at her. According to my scales shes weighed 3 and half stone for about 2 years, if not longer

mammyjo · 10/01/2008 10:32

Hi leaky. Glad the funeral went ok. Nice that you felt the eulogy captured your gran nicely, am sure she would be pleased you smiled as well as cried Any joy with the house hunting?

F is on three meals a day and has been for a while. She was only eating small amounts at each meal, but the last fortnight she has turned into a sump and cant get it down quick enough!

CaptainDyson · 10/01/2008 10:36

@ your BF, Pesha - I have a couple of friends who do that to me a lot, drives me nuts!!

Nice to "see" you Leaky I am glad your gran's funeral went as well as these things can and was a lovely testimony to a long and fulfilled life xx

leakyR · 10/01/2008 10:39

We looked at 6 houses last Saturday and have got 7 lined up this Saturday. Only 2 of last weeks were any good for us, but neither felt like "the one". Fingers crossed that this week we'll find it.

Ideally we'd like to find somewhere now so that when the relocation package money is through from work we can put an offer in straight away. RBS reckon to get things turned around in 20 days from receiving your signed agreement. We posted it yesterday so it shouldn't be long before they send people in to value it

mammyjo · 10/01/2008 10:39

Cd, you really do have an amazing way with words. Always sum things up beautifully Oh to be so articulate!

mammyjo · 10/01/2008 10:40

Fingers crossed for saturday leaky xx

NorthernLurker · 10/01/2008 10:45

Leaky - glad the funeral went well for you.

Dippy - no worries with the name!

No AF here at all - yet - with previous girls 9 months was the turning point Quite sure am not pregnant though as am not sick or asleep! Both good indicators in my case

CaptainDyson · 10/01/2008 10:49

Thank you MJ

Hope you find somewhere super lovely at the right time Leaky. xx

I am feeling weird today.

CaptainDyson · 10/01/2008 10:51

Have replied to your email btw NL

fpesha · 10/01/2008 10:53

I said the same to the mum at the school NL(who was asking as hers has returned while bfing, I dont normally stand around chatting about these things!) that I'm pretty sure if I was I'd be throwing up! Although only from 7or8wks gone. But I'm as sure as you ever can be that I'm not.

I really should be doing something Have put washing on and made a couple of phone calls but just cant find the energy to do anything else

fpesha · 10/01/2008 10:56

Oh yes Leaky - good luck with the house hunting

I get cross when I think about my house buying/selling experience so tend to try and stay away from commenting too much on the house talk!

CaptainDyson · 10/01/2008 11:00

I should be too, Pesha.

(As much for my arse as for yours wink])

oooggs · 10/01/2008 11:13

morning - ange your kids are really cute

raining hard down here - so will have to carry on spring cleaning

elkiedee · 10/01/2008 11:13

Morning all, just poping in to say hi as if I'm to take D to baby singing we need to set out very soon and I still have to put some clothes on him.

Pesha, maybe you need the time not "doing something" as well. Danny had a really long morning nap and at the moment seems to be happy to be in his cage even with the door open! I've got things ready to go out (changing stuff and a bit of food).

See you all later.

CaptainDyson · 10/01/2008 11:18

I get twitchy if I am not "doing something"....

StealthPolarBear · 10/01/2008 11:33

Good luck on Saturday leaky, and glad the funeral went as well as it could
Weird how, Dippy?
Enjoy yourself elkie, was it a typo or is it really baby singing? I haven't taken T to anything in ages, and am feeling guilty. How important is it that he has other baby frineds at this stage?
Does she not realise it doesn't really make much sense for you to go into town for half an hour pesha??
Not sure why T isn't eating. He used to eat well unless we'd left it a bit late to have tea, which is fair enough. Now he seems to play with his food but start crying very early on. I was getting used to having peaceful meals again where I could actually eat, we're back to bolting food and eating in shifts again Could it be teething?? This has been going on for days now though. How long can it go on without them not actually coming through?

cazboldy · 10/01/2008 11:36

has anyone heard about those poor horses rescued yesterday??? My sil was there helping (she works for Redwings) and is feeling sooo sad

StealthPolarBear · 10/01/2008 11:40

no, what happened?
off to search bbc site

cazboldy · 10/01/2008 11:50

sorry - never even tried to do a link!

basically 99 horses rescued according to her in varying states of neglect...33 found dead...some rotten sorry if tmi.... and 3 had to be put down there and then

CaptainDyson · 10/01/2008 11:57

No I didn't Caz - what happened!?

Babies go through phases, SPB, imho - Sometimes they eat like ravenous beasts and something they don't - no particular reason, I don't think - I would just relax and try not to stress - He will eat in his own good time. You are still BF - she is getting nutrition from that. Trust your instincts. Give him lots of finger food to hold and shovel it in! Try to feed him before gets too hungry.....

CaptainDyson · 10/01/2008 11:58

That's just terrible, Caz Where was this? Your sis must be so upset.

StealthPolarBear · 10/01/2008 11:59

oh no
Dippy I wonder if that's the problem, we tend to eat quite late, have been trying to be organised to eat when DH gets in (tea on the table like a good little wifey) but it's not always possible
Maybe need to eat early at the weekend, see if that makes a difference

cazboldy · 10/01/2008 12:00

somewhere in Buckinghamshire.

CaptainDyson · 10/01/2008 12:00

Here's the story on the BBC website
