Do I bore you Fury?

Riallymusttryharder · 12/03/2008 10:58

I'm being good today>.

Workout done, water drunk, jus about to have SW brunch.

Bet it goes arse over tit by bedtime

lackaDAISYcal · 12/03/2008 11:19

lol foxy, I was having a clear out the other day and found a tupperware box full of ginger biscuits in my bedside table from MS with DD

can't face much at the moment, especially ginger biscuits!

HellHathNoFury · 12/03/2008 11:30

Foxy you do when you are talking about your bum cos I thought you were gorgeous lol!

I have been good so far today.
Porridge with skimmed milk.
Blueberries.
Water.

foxythesnowman · 12/03/2008 11:40

I have had two weetabix.

Then, when Fury 'yawned' at me, I had two pieces of white buttered toast as comfort food.

HellHathNoFury · 12/03/2008 11:52

cheeky mare

I don't guilt that easily, after living with my mother for too many years I have developed guilt resistance

Riallymusttryharder · 12/03/2008 12:31

mine gave me a guilt complex

HellHathNoFury · 12/03/2008 13:02

ok all so what's on the menu for tonight?

Tomato tortellini with mushroom, courgette and tomato sauce here.

Riallymusttryharder · 12/03/2008 13:16

Roast pork, veg, dry-roast & mashed potato, parsnips & sweet potato, might have to give up the wine tonight so I can syn stuffing, gravy and yorkshire pudding.

DH has made peach bread and butter pudding where he's been working and a) told me about it in great detail, andb) not brought me any.

HellHathNoFury · 12/03/2008 13:27

wow Ria yum...I am just cracking open a sainsburys pasta lol

Tell DH he sucks, we all want, nay, NEED peach bread and butter pudding.

Sputnik · 12/03/2008 13:35

We're having salmon and artichokes.

Usually have salad for lunch, but today I did a recipe I learned when I was doing e-diets: soup plate full of chopped tomato, about 1/3 of a 200g pack of feta, spring onion, whole grain mustard, lemon jiuce, drop of olive oil. Add literally a handful of pasta, no cheating. It's yummy.

Workout ticked off too here.

Foxy, can't you take both DDs to the gym? Otherwise get a DVD or something, no excuses, or you'll be drummed off the thread .

Anyway, after complaining on monday about not losing anything I appear to have lost 1kg in 2 days, so maybe it's just my scales being funny. So that's 4kg off post xmas weight. I took a good look in the mirror, and tried on a few things that were really tight before, and I noticed a difference. So HOORAY!

Sputnik · 12/03/2008 13:37

My DH came back last night saying "I bought you a choclate egg" (we are talking mini-egg here). "Unfortunatly it melted in my pocket"

Luckily I have my own chocolate stash.

lackaDAISYcal · 12/03/2008 13:40

well done sputnik

I've just had a huge plate of pasta (free on SW!) with some putanesca sauce followed by 2/3 of a mango.

not got a clue about dinner though.

HellHathNoFury · 12/03/2008 13:47

well done sputnik!

For lunch I had lettuce, tomatoes, 1/2 avocado, some chicken. No sauce. Then I had more blueberries.

I do however eat a MASSIVE bowl of porridge every day.

HellHathNoFury · 12/03/2008 13:47

Daisy do you get on ok with SW? I didn't like it (probably because I didn't understand it!)

lackaDAISYcal · 12/03/2008 13:52

It seems to work for me fury, but only cos I'm a carboholic so scoff my face off on green days. I tried WW but can't be faffed with all the conting of points; it was too easy to cheat.

basically green day, as much carbs (potato, pasta rice) and fruit/veg as you like, with limited proteins. red day, as much lean meat/fish and fruit veg as you like and limited carbs. bread/cereal/fats either day in limited quantities as healthy extras. Add some sysn to make you feel good about the odd bar of chocolate and away you go.

HellHathNoFury · 12/03/2008 13:57

I don't mind counting the points (I have a lot of time to kill at work!) - and what's the point in cheating?

Although... I just lapsed, my halo today slipped, I had a fruit and oat bar
2 points those things are!!

Less dinner for me then.

lackaDAISYcal · 12/03/2008 14:00

could you fill up on veg fury?

for cheating at WW, I am a hopeless case

HellHathNoFury · 12/03/2008 14:03

I will eat a lot of veg at dinner, I usually give DH most of the pasta which is probably why he weighs something like 17/18 stone.

But I cannot resist a slice of garlic bread!

foxythesnowman · 12/03/2008 14:50

Well, this thread is working for me - I'm already feeling guilty and shamed!

I am aiming to do a decent buggy-pushing walk every day. (Except on the days I have ill children off school).

I threw my scales away just after Christmas. Probably should get some new ones, but am a bit too scared.

I will impose a 6pm Carb Curfew.

I will not eat anything over 5% fat.

I will have 25 WW points per day (am still BF).

Its a start. You are all ahead of me.

I need sleep, and for DP to be around.

My problem is that he is away a lot. So, because I'm stuck in and bored, I'm snacking without realising it. Because he is away, I'm 'treating' myself to 'nice' food in the evening as a 'reward'.

Tis all his fault .

HellHathNoFury · 12/03/2008 15:02

Foxy IKWYM.

I was off yesterday and at home and I do find myself raiding the fridge. Can't help it.

I have 23 WW points. I seem to use 24.5 most days though

HellHathNoFury · 12/03/2008 15:03

I also cheat though too, my GP prescribed me orlistat which helps weight loss - one of those before a curry and it's like I never ate it (ok well like I only had 1/2 of it anyway)

Riallymusttryharder · 12/03/2008 15:51

I have been for a walk in the wind which is really picking up here now (typical, we always get the bad weather after everyone else). I DID NOT sneak to the shop for a bottle of wine. I went to schol, paid my 50p subsidised place fee or DS1 at a drama workshop, and walked straight home to visit the GPs, who were out (they never go out, especially when it's bad weather). SoI will have to go out again later to see them. The shop is open til 10pm

I did have a couple of sqaures of chocolate before I went out

I just had bread for lunch (S/W HE) a I was so late having brunch. I shoud have had the pasta I'd plannd.

lackaDAISYcal · 12/03/2008 16:16

I am snacking on a pack of mixed organic sprouted seeds that was in today's veg box

Sputnik · 13/03/2008 17:00

Well on one hand I did my abs workout twice, think I'm ready for level 2. On the other hand I had a few crackers too many and we're having sushi tonight, so had to put a bottle of wine in the fridge to do it justice. So probably a neutral day
