Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
Riallymusttryharder · 13/03/2008 18:42

I can hardly walk/sit down. Overdid the thight exercises I think (I have just started Phase III and it's harder). Having a rest day

Won't mention food...

Sputnik · 13/03/2008 19:48

Well that's a sign it's working at least. You, me and Fury are going to have killer thighs in a few weeks from now .

Riallymusttryharder · 13/03/2008 20:55

Just call me Xenia Onatopp.

If my thighs don't kill me first!

Sputnik · 13/03/2008 21:20

I have no idea who that is.
Actually wasn't there some Bond film where a female leapt on his neck and tried to strangle him with her thighs?

Riallymusttryharder · 13/03/2008 22:08

That's me Sputnik

Riallymusttryharder · 15/03/2008 09:33

Guess what! Yesterday as I was struggle with a fidgety DS3 and putting him in his high-chair, my trousers fell down and by the time DH came to help they were right round my knees. Am glad I wasn't in a cafe.
So if these trousers are that much too big, why don't my smaller ones fit. Not Fair

But I thought it would make you laugh

BumperliciousIsStillNotDressed · 15/03/2008 10:04

Ok, I'm back, I've got to do something, hope you can all motivate me. I was going to have croissants for brekkie but had branflakes and skimmed milk instead. I do want to do WW but not sure I could manage all the points counting. Just really gutted as I intended to be a stone lighter before I go back to work.

Hmm, must get the docs to up my thyroxine.

Ria that is funny! But great news too!

Riallymusttryharder · 15/03/2008 14:40

Hi bumper, I had beans on WHITE toast for breakfast.

I am really jaded with slimming world, but I don't know if WW would be any better. I was going to be 1 1/2 stone lighter for my birthday.

Now "things" are back to normal I should drag myself to the Drs for blood tests I suppose. I just feel like they're going to laugh in my face because I'm making excuses for being fat and don't have anything wrong with me - I was tested after DS2 was born and I was clear - can it change?

BumperliciousIsStillNotDressed · 15/03/2008 14:57

Absolutely ria, do you have any other symptoms?

justplainoldRia · 15/03/2008 21:05

I just have the same symptoms now as I had then, I'm knackered (so tired I can hardly move or bursting with energy, no happy medium), depressed, my hair falls out and I can't seem to lose more than a couple of pounds. Also I'm really cold or sweat a lot. (TMI)

justplainoldRia · 16/03/2008 08:27

i have cold feet too

RiaisMaLarkin · 23/03/2008 08:47

Is anyone doing Weight Watchers? I need a new regime as I can't cope with the way SW takes over your life and does silly things like making pizza out of smash!!

EasterBunnylicious · 23/03/2008 08:51

Ria, you should defo go to the doctors and get tested.

I'm not sure if I have the energy for weight watchers, I am just trying to get back into healthy eating and not snacking.

I went to the gym on Friday, it helps that they have machines with tv's on and Friends was on! Not going to join though as they have no creche and it's £40 a month. Felt really good afterwards though. I would lose so much weight if I could just get into exercising again, but I need a routine otherwise I won't do it, and there just isn't time with the baby.

Mind you if I just did a bit more housework I would probably lose heaps of weight

RiaisMaLarkin · 23/03/2008 19:29

I'm fairly sure housework as exercise is a myth

I should be a stick insect (when I'm on one of my manic cleaning sprees of course)

I am thinking of getting a family "anytime" pass for the tennis courts where DS1 has his lessons. It's £40 for unlimited family use between March-Sept. I just don't know if we would fit in with the pseudo-posh that DS has lessons with (also I'm crap at tennis and I don't think it's the kind of place for rolling around laughing).

I just need a big fat kick up the arse (or not so much stuff to stress about).

RiaisMaLarkin · 28/03/2008 22:10

Ha, lost this thread there.

I LOVE weight watchers.

RiaisMaLarkin · 05/04/2008 21:04

these?

Bumperlicious · 05/04/2008 21:04

Ok guys here are the top 10 most effective ab exercises. So they are not going to give us a stomach like Gwen Stefani (but here is a pic for inspiration) but it's a start.

I suggest picking 3-5 exercises to do a day, just for 10 minutes, we should encourage each other.

RiaisMaLarkin · 05/04/2008 21:07

I don't have to start tonight do I?

foxythesnowman · 05/04/2008 21:11

I suggest we all post 'before' and 'after' pictures, dressed and posing as Gwen

Get your black bras and hipsters ready ...

Bumperlicious · 05/04/2008 21:13

No

Starts tomorrow though!

In two weeks I will introduce some leg exercises, but you will already have been doing 10 mins of ab exercises so an extra few won't make a difference and before you know you will have a work out!

Bumperlicious · 05/04/2008 21:13

Um, will a nursing bra and Primark trackies do foxy?

foxythesnowman · 05/04/2008 21:15

Perfect.

RiaisMaLarkin · 05/04/2008 21:21

All hail bossy bumpers bootcamp

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 05/04/2008 21:26

Well I've added the ab exercises link to my favourites - so that's a start surely? On my training plan tomorrow is meant to be a day for relaxation and stretching, so maybe I'll do a bit of stretching and then have a go at a couple of abs exercises?

DKMA · 05/04/2008 23:48

Ahhh ............Piece of cake!!!
I've been to the gym today - Ran on treadmill for 20 mins, xtrainer 20 mins, rower 10 mins, wave machine 10 mins, ab crunchies on ball, leg lowering (lower abs), 3 different free weights for arms, finished off with stretching.
Feel free to tell me to piss off
I'm still a fat arse though!!
