Not Catholic, church of Ireland. very similar, He's been going to classes helped by the fact it is full of pretty teenage girls

It's this sunday, his dad is coming. I got ds1 a suit, but it only just fits him and no more, he seems to have grown even more, he's a gangly six footer.

Dh went out for shopping last night and came back inebriated in a taxi so the food is in the car in town No milk or juice for breakfast! Oh well, he'll be all guilty and eager to please today now

Evenhope, how embarrassing oh no! My sister once popped out of her vest top at one side without noticing and a guy from work sat chatting to her then left the room and then her friend came in (and started screaming etc) and later the guy said he hadn't noticed, yeah right!

ReverseThePolarity · 24/01/2008 08:25

Hi guy's!

How r u all 2day hunni's? Is'nt it a luvly day 2day?

Oops, sorry, for a moment there I thought I was on Netmums!!

Again only a quickie as I start work in ten minutes but I have been reading your messages, honest!! Bethoo / Diva / everyone I was reading that other thread last night (well, started reading it anyway - tea interrupted) and was pmsl. Poor Aitch, where I left off she was being attacked by the huns. That must be like being slowly tickled to death with a feather duster! So I will have to go back for the next installment to see if she manages to kick back!!

Expressing - well, I only get a half hour lunch (could have longer but if I have half an hour lunch I leave at four thirty and spend more time with the mini man) and don't get extra breaks (not officially anyhow) so it's a case of squirt out what I can. I'm going to get a double pump when I've some cash but for now I have my Avent Isis and when that fails, my trusty hands. I actually get more hand expressing but don't like to do it too much or I end up bruised.

But with expressing in my lunch break, hand expressing to top up and then a quick squirt in the evenings I manage to get 4 oz for him to have during the day.

Leo, yes, 'tis Mossy. Did you get the Doctor Who reference?

Right, gotta go......... luv 2 u all

ReverseThePolarity · 24/01/2008 08:26

Diva pmsl @ "opinionated woman... where's Kitty?"

Rosy he came back drunk in a taxi? I hope you get a grovelling apology!!

muppetisacat · 24/01/2008 10:27

mossy - so impressed at all the expressing at work - and to the others who are doing it! Hats off to you... i think it would have brought an end to my bfding if i'd gone back to work now. Keep it up girlies!

No real news here... yes, where is kitty?
Hope she's doing ok.

Rosy - how has your head been the last couple of days?

Divastrop · 24/01/2008 12:03

hi huns (((((((((((((((((((((((((((((hugs))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))

rosy-i will have to try that one next time i go shopping in the evening..i think dh would leave me if i did that!in fact,i know he would!

dd2 woke up at 4,30 this morning, and woke Eksie who had been sleeping ok till then.its going to be so strange in a year or so when i get a full nights sleep every night,i can hardly rememeber what it was like(maybe because i used to start on the drink as soon as the dc were in bed).

mossy-how long is the job for?sounds like you are quite enjoying it

better go,cu L8er guys *mwah

Divastrop · 24/01/2008 12:04

eskie?

Rosylily · 24/01/2008 12:27

hee hee Diva, luckily I don't have to leave dh, he leaves me on a regular basis
For his next trick he started the car and went into first instead of reverse and drove into (and totally smashed) my plant pot with beautifull weeds flowers growing in it.
Life is never boring with him around. He's a laugh a minute he is

Muppet my head is okay at the moment thanks I ought to be keeping a food diary (I'll need a very thick notebook for that ) No way am I going on the betablocker things.

bethoo · 24/01/2008 12:28

ong- check outthe post in the sales for double buggy, it is on active conversations at the mo! it is awful, do not know who to believe (there is more to the title thread, somethign about good condition)

fitfox · 24/01/2008 13:07

Laughing OL at the netmums Huns language on here

Polar - did you know that employers have to give rest breaks to nursing mothers under H&S laws?

muppetisacat · 24/01/2008 15:54

bethoo where is that thread?

bethoo · 24/01/2008 16:20

it was there earlier. advertising a double buggygoing for £40. mostly conversation between two women argueing about it. i do not know how to attach links!!

ReverseThePolarity · 24/01/2008 18:43

Foxie I know but I do not want to kick up a stink as I'm only a temp, and I had quite a few agencies turn their backs on me (although I could never prove it was 'cos of expressing I knew it was) and this was the only place that would take me, so I said I would only express in my dinner time.

Oooh gotta go Bertie is wailing whilst eating pasta bolognaise I think he's very tired.

kittywise · 24/01/2008 18:51

Hello

lots of family crap going on here

My dad is visiting ( not part of family crap) and the computer is in his bedroom.

Will catch up tomorrow
xxxx

fitfox · 24/01/2008 19:26

IKWYM Polar - at least they are letting you express

Kitty - hope you are Ok and that DH of your is behaving himself

Hi Bethoo

morocco · 24/01/2008 20:53

lolol at babyworld speek

hope you are ok kitty

v impressed at expressing at work, I did it once ever and then got too lazy. I'm trying to organise a bit more work for myself now, feels like the right time to be upping the hours a bit, and we need a bit more cash to pay for the summer hols - ouch - life is expensive right now.

is separation anxiety big still with your babies? em is still terrible. also she has yet another cold/cough and sounds terrible. she's only just got over the bronchiolitis (i think i mentioned that? did I? ) bit to hear her coughing away

off to check out sales board

kiwibella · 24/01/2008 21:33

diva and mossy !!

evenhope! I am sure he was more embarrased. I admire you ladies continuing to express at work... lucky babies.

Foxy... have a look at that book - I found it really useful. In fact, I only got about halfway through and it's working, so I've put it to one side.

Hope that your Dad is having a nice visit. Sorry other things aren't going so well.

Piffle... I don't fit into that age gap . How is your back?? Glad that your headaches are getting better Rosy. A food diary might be useful.

Diva - I think that relegious ceremonies for our children are an opportunity for their parents to "celebrate". I taught in a CoE school and the confirmations were full-on party events... tho not many children seem to be confirmed anymore??

Divastrop · 25/01/2008 16:13

i came on here to read the new messages

where is everybody?

spongecake · 25/01/2008 21:33

me too diva, where is everyone? am to flustered really at mo to be of any use really but I was looking forward to catching up.. is there a new thread??

Divastrop · 25/01/2008 21:53

i was wondering that but if somebody starts a new one they usually put a link on the current one.i was beginning to think that a secret new thread had been started untill you posted.
OMG,you dont think theyve defected to netmums do you?nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

kiwibella · 25/01/2008 22:31

new thread
