muppet, the exerciser is great, well worth the investment imo!

It's always the way when you are looking for something specific isn't it? Are you going to keep trying or have you given up?

Divastrop · 17/01/2008 12:16

sorry but pmsl@testicular cancer.my xp thought he had that too.
i bet if there is owt there atall its a sebaceous cyst.i dont have rosy's faith in the fact that he mat grow up,probably due to my own experiences, but most men who use emotional blckmail etc are just doing it so they can get you back then they will just go back to being arseholes.

i thought about ovarian cyst myself, the doctor couldnt find anyhting obvious wrong though, she did a pregnancy test etc and said to come back tomorrow if it gets worse.
i also have to have blood tests to check the weight thingy.
i know my mum had to have a cyst removed when she was in her mid-30's.

Elsie has slept 8-7 the past 3 nights(as far as i know).shes only having about 10oz of milk per day though.top teeth still just under the gums.

rosy- does your ds1 still play WoW?dh is having problems with it at the moment and is doing alot of swearing and posting on forums.

piffle-housework wont help your back.will your dp not do any,or could you pay your ds1 to do it?

muppetisacat · 17/01/2008 12:18

kitty - might try later this arvo but need to get something otherwise i will have to go to restaurant looking like a jumble sale!

muppetisacat · 17/01/2008 12:18

Diva at pg test!

bethoo · 17/01/2008 12:24

well i rang exp and he had to have a biopsy thing, the doc said could not rule out cancer and is concerned at his nausea too which i have been nagging him for months otget checked out, cant believe i had sex wiht this sickly person!! anyway he said 80% prob cyst but wait til the bloods and results get back. exp was saying how i could not believe the pain he went through! so he is now laid up at home feelign very sorry for himself. today was probbaly the first time in a long time another woman held his balls, so i would like to think!!

Divastrop · 17/01/2008 12:25

muppet-its just standard procedure with lower abdominal pain so they can rule out ectopic pregnancy.

i better go and play with my babies instead of reading about nob rot and bucket fannies

Rosylily · 17/01/2008 12:26

Muppet, wear an old top but get a sumptuous scarf/wrap from accesorise or somewhere, to adorn your self with

Diva, ds1 got up to level 70 and is all excited. He is doing his mocks and we'll see the results I don't think he got level 70 in his exams!

bethoo · 17/01/2008 12:26

Diva - do they think you are pregnant or possible ectopic though that is usually accompanied by shoulder pain. sometimes cysts can only be spotted by ultrasound as i had a huge one after my miscarriage. when will you find out the results? surely they have those pregnancy strips which tells you there adn then if you are up the duff? or was it blood work?

muppetisacat · 17/01/2008 12:29

rosy - the way i feel at the moment i prolly should wear a large scarf and drape it over my head!!!

muppetisacat · 17/01/2008 12:29

might be difficult to eat though!

pokes head in and waves hiya

have been busy - coming to the end of our summer holiday and have had some hospital appts for dd1 as well as getting her ready to start formal schooling where did my baby go?

Have a pick of her in her uniform ( just in case it is too much on the big day) on my profile. Am sure I will bawl my head off and so will be in no fit state to take pics.

SHe is soooo excited - me - I am petrified, anxious and actually feel sick about the whole thing. We are trying to toilet time at least or train as well.

Dd3 is going great guns - we have had the top front four teeth all come in at once - not good.

Then to top it all off - dd2 goes and wees on the pc - not recommended!! dh and I looked like this she was just beside herself. She seems to be having an anxious time at the moment so lots of accidents. BUT a lot of money and a number of days later we have a repaired pc. It was touch and go for a while - might have had to fork over for a while new pc.

I am also madly still doing my family research. Have a competition here in Aus to win a $20 000 round the world trip to further research your family history. Lucky vibes this way please - only way I will be getting to the UK anytime soon. IT would also mean whilst I could do my research fabulous, sweet adorable wonderful MIL could actually meet dd2 and 3 and see dd1 for the first time in almost 4 years.

Have not caught up on news but will try and catch up with everyone - or can someone give me a summary please

Lots of rain - which we need and flooding up north and out west from us - which is brilliant. but makes bored children !!

Anyway it is late - big day entertaining children again.

bethoo · 17/01/2008 12:43

hiya eidsvold - hope you and family are well. weather is not much better here! saw pic of your dd1, doesnt she look all grown up bless her.

Rosylily · 17/01/2008 13:00

Eidsvold she looks absolutely gorgeous! The uniform is lovely and really suits her. Aw.

Piffle · 17/01/2008 13:43

oh Eids she looks fab! DD also has navy blue uniform and it suits the fair haired ones

Callieco · 17/01/2008 15:00

Hello all, back from the world of work, hurrah. I was so happy last night I wouldn't have to go in today - is that a bad sign ?

Mossy (sorry), how did it go with you?

Eids, that is such a cute picture. She's gorgeous.

Piffle - man, what a day. You poor sod - hope you had a big, big drink.

Better do some washing up while DS sleeps, although that's what I feel like doing myself, but have already wasted too much time on the net.

muppetisacat · 17/01/2008 15:33

just got back from GP - very puzzled and feeling a bit ill...

... fell over onto my hip 2 weeks ago as got out of bed in night and my leg had gone to sleep - so went over when tried to stand on it... got a properly MASSIVE purple bruise on hip as a result which has faded now but is raised/red/hot and REALLY itchy...

... saw new GP today who said it was RINGWORM!! wtf??? apparantly it's not a worm but a name to give to fungal or bacterial infections of the skin - i have cream to use but now am feeling ill and almost a bit like when you start to get mastitis???...

do you think the infection is spreading or am i just being a wuss because i feel like a stray dog with parasites?????

How could a bruise give me an infection????

Divastrop · 17/01/2008 15:34

bethoo-the pg test was negative, but i knew that anyway.

kittywise · 17/01/2008 17:30

Muppet, how odd! I had ringworm as a child but it was round my neck. Have you googled it?

kittywise · 17/01/2008 17:33

Just had a quick look for you and a lot of sites say that it initially looks like a bruise and can be mistaken for one, so it sounds like that is what has happened.

Leoloopydoo · 17/01/2008 19:40

Hi all, wow, great to see that there are loads of the original mums still here... and you can all still chat at sprint pace!

Callie, yes I remember now that we share a birthday and this year its on Sunday ! I did dh a cake and candles for his (for ds1's benefit maybe...) and I'm expecting at least the same treatment for mine!

I'm also still bfing, but have only been feeding mornings, evenings and through the night for quite some time now.

Callie -sympathies with going back to work, I went back at the beginning of the month but also needed a change of job before I got pregnant so its tough. But on the other hand I feel much, much better, not so exhausted, frazzled, stressed as I did when I was home the whole time, and leaving the babies gets easier.

Toby and Leo are doing great, they are also running around the place at top speed pushing chairs or whatever. Its just so cute!

Hmmm, sounds as if ds1 is still running around upstairs and dh is ill in bed trying to sleep.... sigh, time is up!

xxx

Divastrop · 17/01/2008 20:54

muppet-you would think they'd give it another name as it does make you think of those urban myths about people with worms in their skin.hopefully the cream will sort it out soon.

rosy-dh is in a foul mood as the game isnt working properly and he cant do certain things on it.he was in the process of levelling his 3rd character.he got the 2nd one to level 70 in 2 weeks.

ds1 is being a shit again, having hissy fits and whinging and talking to me like crap.i dont mean cheek or general attitude either.i have been invited to do this play therapy course with him,but i dont know whats happening with the CBT i am meant to be having-i got a letter last wek saying there were a few problems and they'd let us know when its re-starting.i dont think i can do both things,it would be too much for me,plus it wouldnt be fair on the lo's as they would never get to go to mother+toddler.
dh thinnk s the play therapy is a load of b*ks and will just be a way to apportion blame when he is bascially a selfish, arrogant sod.i,on the other hand, feel i should try it as if things dont get sorted ds1 is going to end up f*ked up in the head because of me.

why cant they just stay sweet little babies

Piffle · 18/01/2008 10:15

I've had ringworm tis a shit to get rid of
I have it on my boobs, yeah fresh air, dream on.
I bought a cream from Malaysia called Creobia as I also had this with dd when she was bf. The itch it like nothing on earth.
Wash it regularly and dry it with clean towel everytime, then apply cream.
FWIW DAktarin did not work for me if thats what they've given you

muppetisacat · 18/01/2008 11:03

Thanks guys... feel a bit less scuzzy after talking with another gp about it! Have a nystatin/hydrocortisone type cream which is already relieving it i think!

The bruise i got from falling over was so deep and caused such trauma to my skin that the infection found loads of little pathways into my skin! Plus my immune system is prolly low - certainly seem to be catching all manner of things at the mo...

I am clearly such a heifer - suprised i didn't break my hip when i fell over!

Rosylily · 18/01/2008 11:38

Muppet, I'm wondering if we have that! I sometimes get small circular itchy patches on my hands and feet. I have asked the dr about it in the past and she did think it was a fungally thing My sister gets it too and we nickname it 'athletes hand' hmm surely the dr would have known though?

Flaming bugs. I never get time to tie dd's hair up in the morning and I better start making time because there is an outbreak of nits in her class....

I had a headache again today and I'm barely coping.
