@KHR1 aww Zach is soo cute!! Love his smile 💙
Thank you 💙 it’s crazy!! It’s like he was born with a hair style! I worry sometimes people will think I style it but it just grows that way 😂

Scotti84 · 29/11/2021 18:08

Whats peoples plans for xmas? I always said theres not much point doing too much as Lillys too small to know whats going on but now shes here... its giving me an excuse to be a big kid again 😅😅

Kirky658 · 29/11/2021 19:28

@scotti84 just normal Xmas for us with my parents. Haven't got a lot of pressies for Alice as she's only tiny and I know she will be spoiled anyway, lol. Tbh I aren't looking forward to it at all, so much expectation etc and with me feeling so down I don't know if I'll be able to handle the extra stress!

In other news, Alice has been prescribed Gaviscon today to help with her reflux so I'm hoping this is the thing that helps!

SillyBry · 29/11/2021 21:53

We are, Covid allowing, having mine and hubby’s parents round on Xmas day. Everyone will cook something and bring it though, so it’s not too much stress. Everyone basically thought that it was nice for our eldest to be at home so she can play with her toys etc instead of being dragged away.
She is VERY excited for Xmas already - and is insistent we buy Rosie presents. (I’m fairly sure just because she wants to unwrap them!)

Noodles4Me · 29/11/2021 22:17

We are ploughing ahead with Christmas if everyone is healthy, no possible restrictions will stop that (didn't last year tbf). Mu mum, brother and 2-year-old niece are coming over.

I've got lots of Christmas days out booked that the boy won't appreciate Blush - I'm desperately hoping they can go ahead....Santa Steam Train, Candle light carols, Santa's Grotto

Sillysocks998 · 29/11/2021 22:34

Hi the sensory toys idea sounds great. My little one has started teething tonight😱 I bought these sachets from Asda called Teetha. Have only given one sachet but they were recommended to me by 2 mums and will be good for babies from 3 months if anyone else's baby starts soon. Suitable from 3 months. Some are suitable for 5 months etc

unicornpower · 29/11/2021 23:39

@Kirky658 I found gaviscon made Billie really constipated, it may not have the same affect on Alice but it is a main side effect! Billie is on omeprezole now which seem to be working x

AdventuresAwait · 30/11/2021 07:39

We're going to (restrictions permitting) spend the day with my parents and my sister & her family. I can't wait! We've got our little girl some things she can start to enjoy now e.g. sensory bottles, books and some she can use in the months ahead.

Scotti84 · 30/11/2021 12:02

@Kirky658 are they coming to you or you going to them? Hopefully theyll help you out if theyre coming to you.

Im so impatient with prezzies, shes already got two of them to play with now, im hopeless!

@noodles4Me oooh the Santa steam train! We used to do that as a kid, is it the one on the North York Moors? I plan on bringing Lilly back for Xmas to do all that stuff that we did as kids when shes she's bit older and the damn virus stops mutating!

AdventuresAwait · 30/11/2021 12:06

Me too @Scotti84! I've given her a tummy time toy I had got her for Christmas already as I feel I'm running out of ideas for this stage she is at now... any recommendations of loved toys are still very welcome!!

Kirky658 · 30/11/2021 12:24

@unicornpower yep I've been warned about the constipation so hoping it will be OK! She's been this morning so 🤞
@scotti84 we are going to my parents house as they live 5 mins away so it is perfect 😊 then we are having them over boxing day evening for cheese and nibbles.

Bubbles1st · 30/11/2021 12:56

We are going to my mum and stepdad's for Christmas Day, we considered staying overnight but we have three dogs and my elderly grandma will be there so trying to keep them away from her to stop them accidentally hurting her because they're very much lapdogs just felt too big a stress when there is Going to be a four month old baby in the mix to look after full time too! I think just going for lunch and spending a few I was there will be much more enjoyable for everybody.

We might buy a couple of token gifts builder Mottley we're going to spend our money on him for Christmas on soft flooring for a play area in the house which we would've done anyway but it just seems nice to say it's for Christmas 🤣

Squibble84 · 30/11/2021 21:06

@unicornpower what form of omeprazole have you been prescribed? The capsule or liquid? And how are you giving it? We’ve just been prescribed the capsule but it says to dissolve it in fruit juice?!!!

unicornpower · 01/12/2021 13:29

@Squibble84 we have the liquid and give to her in a syringe (must to her disgust!) whyyyy would they give you that?! Can you go back and ask for the liquid?

CherLW · 03/12/2021 21:11

Random question… is anyone else’s hair falling out? When I was or brush my hair so much comes out!! I used to loose some and I have thick hair but then never lost any when pregnant (I’ve read due to hormones) but now i feel like it’s making up for the past year!!

Bubbles1st · 04/12/2021 03:25

@CherLW mine isn't, yet! I think post partum hair loss can peak at about 4 months so I'm not getting to excited yet that I'm not. However so far I'm not losing anything out of the ordinary it doesn't feel like.

AdventuresAwait · 04/12/2021 08:03

@CherLW, I'm the same as @Bubbles1st... nothing yet but still thinking it could happen!

CherLW · 04/12/2021 08:06

@AdventuresAwait @Bubbles1st hopefully you don’t get it bad… it’s horrible! It’s everywhere! Jesse will be 4 months on Boxing Day so I’m pretty much there! It’s only been the past 1-2 weeks! My friend had it when she has her babies and after the falling out stage she had a growing wispy hairs around her hairline stage 🤦🏻‍♀️

crobo87 · 04/12/2021 08:43

@CherLW mine is falling out so bad!! My hair is really thin anyway so it's really bad now. I've got bald patches and everything it's really getting to me now. I've got a gp appointment about it next week. I don't think there's much they will do but just incase lol.
I find it every where. Oscar gets covered in it, my bed, the bath etc.

CherLW · 04/12/2021 08:50

@crobo87 oh it’s so horrible isn’t it.. I really feel for you! Maybe the doctor will suggest vitamins or maybe a special hair wash of some kind.
Jesse is also covered! It’s in his hands, clothes, the bath and bed etc like yours! I just hope it stops! I hope the doctor can help, I keep thinking I need to call and talk to one!
