no libido here either btw bf and sex just dooesn't do it for me or dh luckily not sure if it is the constant feeding at night (lo not dh of course) or the aura of milkiness

andiemisletoe · 01/12/2007 21:44

TheTwelveDAISYOfChristmas · 01/12/2007 21:44

jbm, I think we're the same age....you start secondary at 12 in Scotland. I was born February 1969.

....and not sure whether I should be annoyed that you're amazed you might be older than me

Sputnik · 01/12/2007 21:45

Another voote foor JT over SLB any day. I remember Planet Earth oon Top of the Pops, the big white shirts... They went down hill after that

justbeme · 01/12/2007 21:47

Errr Im not sure either Daisy!! But I am older than you - by 6 mths!!!!!!
I think its cos you're the "font of all knowledge" - But I mean that everso nicely!

TheTwelveDAISYOfChristmas · 01/12/2007 21:47

holly, you'll get them for 20p in tesco tomorrow!

andiem, brains too fuddled to work out your age from that.....and we don't do lower/upper sixth in Scotland, so no ideas really!

DH and I have been discussing music of that generation.....methinks a trip down our musical memory lane is in order.

Sputnik · 01/12/2007 21:49

I'm 2 years oolder than Daisy then.
Teechnically old enough to be Holly's mum

justbeme · 01/12/2007 21:50

andiemisletoe · 01/12/2007 21:57

night all as well

foxythesnowman · 01/12/2007 22:05

Arse!Missed the Duran convo. I was going to marry JT, but he's lost his good looks now.

Deffo agree with teh bf/sex thing. It just doesn't work. Mother nature doing her thing there I think, whilst we can't make babies, we're not going to want to IYSWIM.

Have you all gone to bed?

Am 37 BTW but got stuck somewhere about 26. 26 is how old I am in my head.

justbeme · 01/12/2007 22:13

Its weird isnt it Foxy - I dont feel 39 (apart from when Im getting out of the pool after crouching thru babyswim, when my knees feel 100).

When I see some 39yr olds, I think OMG they look late 40's, but then I think - do I look like that? Do all the younger Mums think - "God she's abit old to be having a baby?"
Mind you my HV is 41 and she said I didnt look my age !!

deckthehallswithboughsofholly · 01/12/2007 22:14

I am 18 in my head. Everytime I see people younger than me drinking in pubs I think "Surely they are under age". Then I realise I'm not 18 and people younger than me are allowed to drink!

I got some pics of dd done today, I put them on my profile. She is a cheeky monkey!

JT still dresses like it's 1984...he looks quite mad!

TheTwelveDAISYOfChristmas · 01/12/2007 22:16

holly, fab pics...I like the second one!

we need to get some official ones of DD done.

The official family portrait will be done when I've lost three stone.....ah well, when I'm dribbling and in the nursing home then

deckthehallswithboughsofholly · 01/12/2007 22:22

We went to the fete at my mum's school today. It was fab.

The photos were done by a really lovely photographer and they were only £10 each and because we bought 4 we get another sitting and another photo free. We are going to use that one to get ds's done.

Then dd got her face painted. Which was lovely and she looked really cute...then she had a tantrum. The lovely red sparkly butterfly on her face ended up covered in snot and tears and red face paint was everywhere, then she wet herself! Toddlers are fab!

Daisy, I feel like that sometimes. I didn't lose the weight from dd before getting pg with ds. Now I feel like a sack of old spuds.

justbeme · 01/12/2007 22:25

Ahhh Holly she's SO beautiful!! Yes, I especially like the 2nd photo
With all your entreprenarial (sp???) skills, havent you thought you getting her into modelling?

deckthehallswithboughsofholly · 01/12/2007 22:25

Am I a bad mum? Dd just woke up...she is now watching spongebob on the sofa!

OP posts:
HaveYourselfaNortyLittleXmas · 01/12/2007 22:28

OMG Duran Duran ...I'm more of an Adam and the Ants and Wham fan myself ....Blimey I feel 39 now....born in 1981!!

We had a dog called Yasmin and a cat called Rio thanks to Duran Duran and my younger sister

No marching down the street then dressed in red, white and blue for the Jubilee ....oh the memories

deckthehallswithboughsofholly · 01/12/2007 22:28

I think she's a bit too chubby to be a model. She is completely scrummy and lovely to cuddle though and that is the main thing!

OP posts:
HaveYourselfaNortyLittleXmas · 01/12/2007 22:29

LOL at concert Daisy.....my first was Tears for Fears (when he had all those plaits) in 198x at Margate Winter Gardens

foxythesnowman · 01/12/2007 22:30

I used to love Adam Ant too. He's gone a bit loopy now. And he too has lost his looks. Guess I had a lucky escape on both then!

HaveYourselfaNortyLittleXmas · 01/12/2007 22:32

Pics are lovely Holly....she looks like you don't you think?
