Hello there! IKWYM about getting distracted. I can never have more than 10 mins or so without a child needing me!

My ds is the same. His thighs are huge, but his tummy is getting thinner. Makes it quite difficult to get nappies on properly!

morning all

foxy so pleased about fox cub nb 4 all your hard work paid off

nowbringussomeJammypudding · 15/11/2007 07:55

Morning. Have just caught up on late night ramblings, glad the littlest foxy is filling out, and hope that egg stayed down?

I'm a bad mummy, haven't got any fruit puree ready for DD's breakfast and am too shattered to start now. Sure it won't hurt her though, after all she's still BF loads

andiemisletoe · 15/11/2007 08:07

we're still completely bf here jammy so I wouldn't worry

nowbringussomeJammypudding · 15/11/2007 08:25

I'm not worried at all. I just feel bad that I didn't get my act together

HaveYourselfaNortyLittleXmas · 15/11/2007 08:40

Morning

Horrible weather here ....

Foxy SO pleased LO has put on weight....and happy birthday to DS1 ....is he alright now after his op? Did you get a decent reply from the hospital about your complaint?

Sputnik....hope DD is feeling better this morning? My mum used to give me scrambled egg when I felt ill......

Right....off out to a friends to use her washing machine...later x

annobalthebignosereindeer · 15/11/2007 08:51

Morning all. Foxy, great news about cub4 and happy birthday to cub1. What have you got planned?

Andie, sorry again for yesterday - hope you enjoyed cafe au play

Norty - I know what it is like without a washing machine - we haven't had one since September

DS1 still sick - was up between 3-5 with croup cough. DS3, however, slept through to 7!

Sputnik how's dd? Hope she's feeling better...

nowbringussomeJammypudding · 15/11/2007 09:28

Ah yes, I knew I'd forgotten something, Happy Birthday to Fox Cub 1.

Sputnik · 15/11/2007 09:49

Didn't even notice last night we needed a new thread!

Egg stayed down, and DD stayed alseep, yay! Marginally less snotty this morning, but still not eating much. might even venture to the supermarket today as the weather has improved and we haven't actually left the house since sunday

nowbringussomeJammypudding · 15/11/2007 10:03

Glad DD is improving Sputnik. If the weather's OK a little trip out might do you both the power of good.

My DD is napping at the moment. She did her usual protest at being put down (despite having been rubbing her eyes like a tired little girl just moments before), but fell asleep after only 2 minutes today. Yesterday it was 5 minutes, on Friday it had been 10 minutes. So perhaps she is getting used to having naps after all. I do hope so.

BadZelda · 15/11/2007 11:53

Ah THERE you are - good morning!
Foxy - glad to hear LO is doing so well: nice one you!

DynamiteDaisy · 15/11/2007 13:35

just a quick hello, no time to catch up as my sis's computer is s o o o o o o s l o o o o o o w, but I did notice the foxcub's weight gain .

things are ok here. Mum is doing well, but needs a lot of fetching and carrying done for her. she is staying very positive and cheerful and talking about a driving holiday to Iona next summer, and getting back home again. We doubt she'll be going anywhere anytime soon as she needs round the clock care, but if it gives her something positive to think about . I'm finding it all a bit stressful, but what can you do?

gotta go already.....demanding baby, 5 year old and 74 year old to deal with. it'll be worse tomorrow...I'm adding my 8 and 6 year old nephews to the mix

annobalthebignosereindeer · 15/11/2007 13:45

Good to hear from you Daisy & glad your mum is staying positive & cheerful. Things are very slow on here without you, you are missed

Hi everyone.

Daisy, I'm thinking of you a lot (in a non-stalkerish way obviously!). Hope you are OK. Wish I could say/do something to help. Remember to look after yourself too.

Thanks everyone for your kind birthday and weight wishes!

gotta go, off to Gambado - promised I'd take DD1 on the Dodgems!

nowbringussomeJammypudding · 15/11/2007 15:36

If you're still there, or if you come back at any point, Daisy, you are missed. Take care and don't get too frazzled by it all.

I now have very red hair Will get a pic later for facebook. It'll make me easy to spot at any meet ups!

Isawbumperkissingsantaclaus · 15/11/2007 16:20

hi all

how are you doing? Happy Birthday to Foxcub 1! And great news on the weight of FC4.

sorry to those of you with poorly DCs. Norty is DD better? sputnik glad the egg stayed down. annobal sorry you are having to get up in the night just when DS3 is sleeping through!

DD is well here. though she seems have developed a fake cough that she is using to get attention and we have started putting her in a high chair which she is sooo tiny in but quite likes to play in.

nowbringussomeJammypudding · 15/11/2007 17:15

DD just gobbled down some mashed swede (or turnip to any Northeners). She loved it! DH will be pleased as he hates it and we get one most weeks through the winter in our veg box and now we have something to do with them

annobalthebignosereindeer · 15/11/2007 17:42

lol at the fake cough bumper! I've also been thinking about putting ds in the high chair - but we have one that bo;ts onto the table and that is in a different room.

swede is horrible Jammy, i'm glad you've found a willing recipient

Foxy how was gambado? I love it there (we go to the one nearish here at beckenham).
