Thanks sputnik! Won't be washing them for a while I think. And I am sporting a pretty spectacular muffin top with them

Right, off to bed now. Night all xxx

catkinisamummynow · 30/11/2007 22:54

Has anyone changed their name completely since I was last on? Don't want to be rude but don't recognise some names!!

IsawBUMPERkissingsantaclaus · 30/11/2007 23:02

Catkin, yes they have, though not sure who you knew in the first place. Can't remember them all though, I'm sure justbeme was someone else (mummyjx?) and motherhurdicure name changed, daisy was obviously daisybump , Jammypudding was Jamantha, and Norty was Charlie and fairy was faylisa but not sure you 'knew' them. Erm, I am Bumperlicious (in case that wasn't obvious). Hellhathnofury is Trendaverter, Riabutterflew who hasn't been around for ages due to lack of internet I think (I hope, she hasn't just gone orf us has she?) was, erm, maybe she was mummyjx I can't remember. I can't remember any others, brain's gone fuzzy, must go to bed, just didn't want to think all the oldies had abandoned you! Some did, but we got some lovely newbies along the way too

Night xxx

DaisyNightingale · 30/11/2007 23:02

erm....who are you?

There have been a few name changes...Trendaverter is now hellhathnofury, muminfife is now motherhurdicure, holly was dogtanian for a while, but is a holly again, Nowbringmesomejammypudding was Jamantha (from July thread, but her DD arrived uber early so she came to talk to us)....and there have been a few joined us postnatally.

I have flirted with a few names, but am rather fond of my daisyness in various guises (even though as MN names go, it is as common as muck)

lilQuidditchKel · 30/11/2007 23:03

Well mushroom for the Bjorn sitter it was. Or biscuit. Or whatever the heck they called it - basically tan. And it is really jolly good at hiding sick stains!! And peanutbuttery handprints from DS... unlike my oh-so-chic black rollnecks. sigh. why do I even TRY to be stylish???

Must post pics on Facebook. We've some great ones. DD is such a cupcake...

Damn that's me getting broody again - despite the horror of earlier struggles with DS! Foxy please beat me to it

DaisyNightingale · 30/11/2007 23:03

x-posts bumper

if you are still there, how is DDs feeding these days?

catkinisamummynow · 30/11/2007 23:05

Fab- thanks! Didn't want to offend anyone by not realising who they were! Will try and come and chat more often so I can keep up to date with you all!
Has been lovely to chat - I'm off to look at all the Christmas presents I bought today and feel very proud!
Have a lovely weekend everyone!

Sputnik · 30/11/2007 23:05

We have a few newbies (well not really newbies anymore) that joined when we went post natal

IsawBUMPERkissingsantaclaus · 30/11/2007 23:06

Mostly good, occasional problems when v tired, but have got to a very easily distractable stage now which poses new challenges

How about you? Still hanging in there?

Right, really am going to bed now, will catch up properly soon daisy. Not meeting Fury tomorrow now as her DH is poorly, don't think her DS is particularly well either

Sputnik · 30/11/2007 23:07

No Ria was mummyjx, JBM has always been her

HaveYourselfaNortyLittleXmas · 30/11/2007 23:17

Just a quickie as I've had the worst trip to IKEA ever and must go to bed....

Holly didn't get an e-mail.....did you use my work address? it's firstname (with "ian" on the end).surname @ nhs . net

mail me through FB if that doesn't make any sense....it is 11.20pm after all

Nice to see some old faces...

FairyOnTopOfTheChristmasTree · 01/12/2007 07:09

Morning all, I'm off to a day spa today with 2 friends . I am ridiculously over-excited

foxythesnowman · 01/12/2007 08:15

I have to take the children swimming this morning (on my own - gulp!). Want to swap???

HaveYourselfaNortyLittleXmas · 01/12/2007 08:18

Have a lovely day you lucky thing

foxythesnowman · 01/12/2007 08:23

LOL Just caught up with you all hedging your bets on me being next up the duff.

If I am, you'll be reading about it in the News of the World

Saying that, it is DPs birthday tomorrow

Have you recovered Norty, from the Hell of Ikea? Isn't today the day your kitchen becomes your own again?

IsawBUMPERkissingsantaclaus · 01/12/2007 08:35

ooh, lovely fairy! can I come?

Sputnik · 01/12/2007 08:51

Facing the prospect of a long DHless weekend here. DD woke in the night wanting to cuddle daddy so ended up in our bed, not that I mind really.
Have plans to go to the bakery and buy a ricotta flan, other than that the weekend is our oyster . At least the sun's out though.

IsawBUMPERkissingsantaclaus · 01/12/2007 09:05

It's funny how much we appreciate the DPs when they are not here...

Lol @ Foxy, well, birthdays come but once a year...Funny how for their birthdays they'd lik nothing more than a good shag, don't know about you but for my birthday I would just like an evening of peace to myself

What happened in IKEA norty?

HaveYourselfaNortyLittleXmas · 01/12/2007 09:22

Morning ladies

Well the imodium done the trick but was still feeling pretty rough....thought if we left here about 5.30pm we would miss most of the rush hour (about 50 miles).....pissed down with rain all the way, DD screamed all the way, took 2 hours to get there, mainly due to stupid arse drivers blocking roundabout exits at lakeside and therefore tunnel kept being closed so no-one could queue in there....felt like shit in IKEA, DH and I rowed most of the way round (you should have stayed at home etc)....he then had to queue for 35 mins to get to the tills whilst I was outside in the pissing rain (in a far flung car parking space cos vans & performance cars (You know the ones I mean!) were using the P&B spaces) trying to figure out how to get the dog guard down...and then driving home with a length of plinth up against the gear stick. Got home at 10.30pm.

Sorry, needed to get that off my chest.....

Hopefully will be mostly finished today....got Hillarys round this morning as well [fun]

On a better note, I feel back to normal today

LOL about birthday shags....DH never got his (DD was 5 days old) and he was disappointed I didn't get one from him (can't say I was too bothered )

foxythesnowman · 01/12/2007 09:23

I'm sure he would like a good shag, but given it'll be the first time I can't guarentee the quality

BTW Bumper. well done on your size 10 jeans! that is fab. you must feel great!

HaveYourselfaNortyLittleXmas · 01/12/2007 09:27

Have a good swim with the DCs Foxy...

don't think I've ever been a size 10
