Morning

Things are very quiet on here this week

Thinking of you Daisy {{{{}}}}}

Jammy - love the hair....can't see what work get themselves worked up about....its lovely.....and its not as if its pillar box red or anything!

All the new pics on FB are lovely....That one of DS Holly in his nappy is gorgeous...

My DD is rolling onto her front now but screams the place down through frustration as she gets caught on her arm....any ideas how I can encourage her to learn how to move it?

Usual day here today....cat puked on the window sill in the bedroom at 6am this morning .....dog has funny tummy and shat in the dining room overnight rather than bark to go out and I have washing EVERYWHERE as my tumble dryer broke down (the only appliance I didn't want to change) and new one isn't coming till next Thursday.....however I should have a washing machine again by the end of the day

Sputnik · 16/11/2007 08:56

Well, took me all of 30 seconds to catch up there!

Daisy as you can see we are missing you badly! Glad that your Mum is keeping her spirits up, your mentioning Iona reminds me we had one of our best ever holidays there when I was little, what a beautiful place.

Well DD was actually worse yesterday, didn't eat much and had awful diarhea (sp?), but does seem better today. We have to take DS to the doc for monthly check and weigh in today so will have a word and check all is ok

nowbringussomeJammypudding · 16/11/2007 10:01

My, yes we are quiet without Daisy!

Well we've survived the "Daddy run", taking DH to work so that we can have use of the car today. We're going to have our 2nd trip to the swimming pool, and even I admit it's easier without the pushchair.

deckthehallswithboughsofholly · 16/11/2007 10:01

How crappy LMN! IKWYM about the washing. ATM it is piled on every available surface and hung on every radiator and chair! My house looks like a gypsy caravan! Hope you get it sorted soon, I know I won't!

I love that pic of my ds! Dp has it as his profile pic, everyone keeps commenting on it. It is so funny!

Daisy, hope you are having a lovely time with your mum and everything is going well xxx

Hope dd is ok sputnik, poor thing.

I fucking hate WW, I am starving and had 9 points for breakfast, so now am gonna have to cut back for the rest of the day. Maybe I'll just stay fat, at least I won't be hungry all the time!

Great hair jammy! You are clearly a funky mum!

I'm getting washing done and because we've got the heating on late afternoon and evening, it's getting dry. But it's not getting any further than folded up on the dining table. Each morning have to come downstairs to get dressed. Will make an effort to put it away this weekend. Also, we need to get the table clear so we can eat in the dining room. We've been lazily eating on the sofa after DD has gone to bed, but now that she' starting to sit in her high chair we want to eat with her at the table.

deckthehallswithboughsofholly · 16/11/2007 10:46

ROLF LMN, sounds exactly like my dining room! I have a pile on the table for each person. Dp gets a bit stressed in the morning because he can never find socks in the piles of washing!

Oh it gets better in this house....DD just puked in my hair........then electricians turned up...oh I'm a yummy mummy

deckthehallswithboughsofholly · 16/11/2007 11:34

Frick, frick, frick...dd just found one of her xmas pressies! I caught her playing with it and had to take it off her and exchange it for a choccie biscuit! She is v upset! At least I know she likes it!

OP posts:
HaveYourselfaNortyLittleXmas · 16/11/2007 11:39

What did you tell her? I remember looking all over the house when I was a kid....think they hid them in the loft!

deckthehallswithboughsofholly · 16/11/2007 11:47

It was in the cupboard under the stairs. I could hear her talking to something and I went in and she said "Look, it's my friend Iggle Piggle!". I just told her she couldn't play with it now and took it off her. She was v upset so I gave her a biscuit! I think she's forgotten about it now!

I'd best go and find a better hiding place!

Ahhh she'll be very excited Xmas day when she sees it. Luckily she's a little young to put 2 and 2 together!

nowbringussomeJammypudding · 16/11/2007 11:56

I must have been a very odd child. Never thought to look for my presents, never wanted to open them early xmas morning before we were told we could, even though I'd be awake from ridiculous-o'clock with the excitement. I just used to stay in bed singing quietly to myself to pass the time.

andiemisletoe · 16/11/2007 12:06

hi!
Norty what a morning youve had!!!

Holly - how sweet what DD said about her friend! you'll have to tell her Iggle Piggles gone back in the tv and she must have been a very good girl for him to come out and play with her - if she asks where he is .

MHC - what the * were you doing on here at 1am??? im deffro not around at that time in the morning!!

im not achieving much today and ive got nothing to wear - feel a right ol granny today - i'll have to smarten myself up for bumps and bundles.

justbeme · 16/11/2007 12:08

andiemisletoe · 16/11/2007 12:15

no only me sob sob billy no mates

andiemisletoe · 16/11/2007 12:16

wouldn't it be good if you could have bf boobies and non bf boobies so you could change when you were going out

deckthehallswithboughsofholly · 16/11/2007 12:20

That would be good andie...one pair would be a lovely pert 34B (my old size) and the other pair would be a horrible saggy old 36E (my size now)!

I am finding WW a real struggle, mainly because of the hunger. I am saving points for the weekend though as we are going to stay with friends and I want to be able to relax a bit. I hope I've lost weight otherwise I shall cry and cry!

I'm off to have a WW cuppa soup and a glass of water! Yum!

OP posts:
andiemisletoe · 16/11/2007 12:21
