Daisy, sounds like you're doing a grand job there. Just remember to look after yourself as well!

Well I'm disappointed to see that Ugly betty isn't on tonight, but reliweved that I won't be tempted to sit up too late (for me) to watch it. So off to bed I go. Night all.

DaisyNightingale · 16/11/2007 21:19

Hi Norty...we're doing all right, but marshalling three lively boys, and a flirty DD (also coughing to get attention, or growling, or blowing raspberries, or screeching )

My sister's teenage golden retriever was licking her all over her face and hands tonight and she was squealing with delight. Every time he wandered away she was screeching at him to get his attention back onto her and away from DS. It was quite cute to watch. He kept trying to swaop her for a gutless, soggy, chewed up teddy, but I was having none of it

HaveYourselfaNortyLittleXmas · 16/11/2007 21:27

Awww doggie sounds lovely! Dd has now started to take notice of our lab and just grabs his ears and he's just great with her!

Must be so lovely for your mum to see your DS and DD - is that all of her grandchildren together? Very therapeutic....for all of you probably.

Very stressful time....try to look after yourself....your mum sounds comfortable which is good and also sounds like she has a good GP which is important.

And you're in Scotland tomorrow when the game is on...I haven't been allowed to plan anything for tomorrow afternoon ....no doubt I'll be MNing (I'm not the only one

Hope all is well and remains so....you have a lot of thoughts coming your way from everyone here

DaisyNightingale · 16/11/2007 21:59

I really appreciate all your lovely thoughts...you guys rock, you really do

This is turning into the night from hell though...DS has just thrown up all over the bed, soaking the duvet through, so I'm scrabbling around trying to find clean bedlinen and something to cover him up with and can onlyt find my sister's quilt which was handmade by some American tourists who were staying in the same hotel where she had her wedding reception. anyway, they ended up at the ceilidh dancing with us till the wee small hours, then sent the quilt as a wedding present and to say thank you! She will be none too impressed if it ends up covered in puke!

This one is going to stretch out for a while I think!

deckthehallswithboughsofholly · 16/11/2007 23:34

Oh daisy, hope you're not still up, sounds like a night of hell and woes! Hope mrr is ok and doesn't puke again!

Glad your mum is ok, but make sure you look after yourself as well xx

Am feeling a bit this evening. My bf phoned me earlier to say her grandad has just died. He was a lovely man and I feel so sad for his family.

Night everyone xxx

I was just doing the Spice Girls dance to Stop and I asked my dp if I could be in the Spice Girls. He said yes, we could do a swap. I could be in the Spice Girls if Emma could come and live here with him! Bastard!

That's great news annobal! What a palavar for you.

Sputnik · 17/11/2007 15:27

HiyaAunty Mandy, it's always nice to see old faces.

OMG Daisy, we had the puky bed scenario laast night too, we are sisters in puke! It was hell actually, the baby woke up howling inconsolably (his ear I think) and that woke DD who proceeded to throw up everywhere, and then got hysterical and didn't want to be cleaned up, basically it was about an hour before they both calmed down. What a nightmare.

Sputnik · 17/11/2007 15:29

Daisy, glad itwas okwith your mum in th end.

nowbringussomeJammypudding · 17/11/2007 17:29

From one extreme to the other - DD was constipated early in the week, but today has had 4 poos, the last of which was thin, runny and greenish. Mmmm, not nice.

Sputnik · 17/11/2007 19:04

Poo, puke: it's all happenng here on the june thread, what exciting lives we lead!

HaveYourselfaNortyLittleXmas · 17/11/2007 19:15

Oh dear.....got a very upset DH after watching the Scotland game .... maybe a kebab will help

Good news about washing machine Annobal .....my new one is SO quiet.....its fab.

We've had electricians in for 2 days and the dust....OMG.....the kitchen walls have got tracks all over them and holes all over the ceiling! Plasterer comes tomorrow....Sunday at 9am

DD turned over today but for the first time, removed her trapped arm to grab a toy...

Very quiet on here....

Sputnik · 17/11/2007 19:21

Did they lose then (against who and at what?)

yOU're lucky to get a plasterer ona sunday, when's it all going to be finished?

HaveYourselfaNortyLittleXmas · 17/11/2007 19:25

They lost (against Italy...).....

Plasterer came round today, saw the elctricians had a mornings work in front of them (they turned up at 8am this morning!) and disappeared again saying he's come back tomorrow.

Hoping it will be done end of this week / beginning of next but will see....

Hows DD been today?

justbeme · 17/11/2007 20:49

Im here - but havent got much to say!!

Feeling tired from long walk today.

Oh and bought a kit to cast your babies feet and ankles or hands and then it comes with a frame from TK Maxx for £20. Should be interesting!!

Sputnik · 17/11/2007 21:04

Oh, Italy. Perhaps I should pay more attention!

DD seems a bit better, eaten a bit and not thrown up (yet, the bucket is on standby)

HaveYourselfaNortyLittleXmas · 17/11/2007 22:17

DH still pissed off

Glad DD seems a bit better Sputnik...hope you have a puke free night

Night all x
