LMN all you need now is an up-the-back poo and your day will be complete!

Holly, well done with the WW, I guess if you can keep it up for a few days your stomach shrinks and it gets easier. I had given up again but should really make a bit of an effort again.

So, (roll of drums), Baby sputnik now weighs 10.2 kgs, that's 22.5 lbs, the weight of a 14 month old! I guess I am a prize cow

LOL at knocker pile

andiemisletoe · 16/11/2007 14:49

you should change your name to sputnik gold top

Sputnik · 16/11/2007 14:51

Let's revive the thread.
Are you still doing your exercise DVDs?

Sputnik · 16/11/2007 14:52

LOL

Sputnik · 16/11/2007 14:58

Have bumped the flat tummies thread

deckthehallswithboughsofholly · 16/11/2007 15:50

Fucking hell sputnik! I got my ds weighed yesterday and he is just over 20lbs...you beat me you bitch!

I am so hungry I feel sick. I am determined to get through it though as I know the first few days are the hardest. I'll give it a couple of weeks and if I still feel like this I think I'll give SW a go. At least on SW I could eat plain pasta to fill me up!

Sorry to talk about delicious food Holly, but have just ordered a goose for Xmas

deckthehallswithboughsofholly · 16/11/2007 16:15

That's ok jammy, I'm veggie, so goose doesn't really do it for me!

Well...I have just weighed out a "LARGE" portion of pasta for my dinner. 60g. WTF am I supposed to do with that? Poke it in my eye? My dd eats more than that!

Sputnik · 16/11/2007 16:23

Nah nah-nah nah nah! (my back is killing me though)

Have you tried lots of tea and raw vegetables (exciting I know)?

Have discovered Baby Spuutnik is well into Boogie Beebies

deckthehallswithboughsofholly · 16/11/2007 16:25

Bless him! I also love boogie beebies, 'tis fab! Do you have Cbeebies in Italy?

OP posts:
nowbringussomeJammypudding · 16/11/2007 16:27

DD likes boogie beebies too

nowbringussomeJammypudding · 16/11/2007 16:33

DH and I prefer The Hoobs though

Sputnik · 16/11/2007 16:46

No Ceebebies
wehavee a boogie beebies dvd

deckthehallswithboughsofholly · 16/11/2007 16:55

No Cbeebies? Shocking! Do you have an Italian version? Or do the Italians not really watch tv?

I've bulked up my pasta with broccoli to try and fill myself up. I may be eating chocolate biscuits and ice cream by the end of the day!

Currently watching rototboy. DS1 has all of a sudden decided he doesn't like baby programmes anymore so it's all powerrangers and robotboy and ben10. Right off to put sick ds1 to bed...

Isawbumperkissingsantaclaus · 16/11/2007 17:17

hi all. Just stopping in quickly.

Would you all like to make your contribution here?

Sputnik sorry to hear DD is not better. Hope you are not too worried.

andie LOL at knickers. I have so few that fit me at the mo there is no opportunity for rotating. I'm usually scrabbling about in the (clean) laundry pile for a pair of big'uns!

Sputnik · 16/11/2007 18:05

She is better today, luckily. I was giving her exactly the wrong things to eat, apparently (yogurt and egg, shame as those are her default foods)

justbeme · 16/11/2007 19:16

Ohh Bumper I dont know what to add to your thread!! I have read it, but cant add more than what has already been said - sorry!

nowbringussomeJammypudding · 16/11/2007 19:48

Arse! I defrosted some fish this afternoon using the fan deforst setting on our oven (no heat but just the fan being on really does defrost things quicker). On the way home tonight DH & I decided we were really hungry and fish pie would take far too long to make for our liking. So decided to make a quick macaroni & cauliflower cheese instead and save fish for tomorrow. Bunged oven on, while made cheese sauce and cooked cauli & pasta, assembled dish, went to bung in oven for 10 mins and yes, you've guessed it, I'd forgotten to remove the fish from the oven. It wasstill in it's packaging and the plastic was melted all over it, so the fish all had to go in the bin

annobalthebignosereindeer · 16/11/2007 20:40

Jammy.

I'm all thumbs tonight - I managed to drop the cocoa jar on my favourite bowl and it smashed into 5 pieces . Think it's overtiredness. DS1 has been up on and off for the last 2 nights and slept in our bed last night (he hasn't done this in over a year) and I just don't sleep if he's in bed with us.

I am on my second bacon sandwich for the day

DaisyNightingale · 16/11/2007 20:53

Is anybody there?

just me in my nursing guise

I'm on granny/babysitting fatigue tonight. I've had four kids all day (once again foxy....you rock, I can't imagine this everyday), and now I have four kids and nanna!....but DH is here to help.

We had a real scare last night and had to get the doctor out for mum who was lethargic and hallucinating; who told my sister 2 weeks at the most ...so we were all pretty glum, but her own doctor came in today, and it turned out that her O2 saturation had dropped to about 80% on her usual setting. So, they have upped the setting and given her this machine that converts air into pure oxygen, and she's all pink and lovely again with her o2 levels at 96%.

My sis and her hubby are having a well earned night off and out, and are staying at mum's so they can have some "quality" time together . At the moment we have the baby monitor listening out for DD, and must remember to swap it round when we go to bed so we can listen out for mum!

I don't know whether I'm pleased or embarrassed that I keep the thread chatty, LOL....must do more housework/get a life

I've had a quick skim of what's been happening, but I've forgotten everything I've read....hope all the ill DCs are better, that foxcub1 had a good birthday, that norty's kitchen and andiem's bathrooms are coming along nicely and that jammy can get the melted plastic off the bottom of her oven, and holly can find a better hiding place for the pressies (but I'm disappointed that it isn;t Santa who brings them )

phew...sorry about the long post!

HaveYourselfaNortyLittleXmas · 16/11/2007 20:56
