FFS some people! Just read it. Very funny but wow. What goes around comes around though.

As an aside. DD did a poo in the potty this morning, and on inspection decided it looked like a penis. I said Nooooo and she then decided it looked like a cone It did look like a cone but I had no idea she knew what a cone looked like!

Justabout... hope you aare ok, whatever the outcome hun..xxxxx Good luck.xxx

Everyone else hope everyone is ok..
Meep lee weighs 20lb 2oz.. he is my biggest at his age, My other two only weighed 19lbs at a year.. but they were alwasy ion the 25th percentile for everything Lee is on the 50th for his weight and 91st for his height.

My dd has had a groth spurt, she is going to outfrow ne soon, she comes to the bridge of my nose, and is 11yrs old.. I am 5ft 7...

Scott therapy sessions have started, for his speech, he is getting better at taliknig.. I haveto wait for the behaviour therapist I think she is the educational phsycologist, to contact me she said about june time, so we can do a programme for his behaviour as he has started to get worse again.. He is driving me insane.. He kicked Lee yesterday..urposley... he thinks punching etc is really funny no matter how many times i tell him off, what punishments I give him, how much i talk to him, cuddle him , reassure him nothing works.. I am worried for the saftey of both boys now most of the time.. so hopefully they will be able to help us. On the plus side.. Lee will certainly know how to defend himself dont think there will be uch chance of him being bullied...

Must go and do twea.

Hope aeveryone is ok..

Love to all.xxx

But has it planted a seed? Will you be hankering after a baby in a few months?

Hello! Haven't been on for ages so hope everyone doing well. Lots more talk about babies - I'm looking forward to some announcements soon . Hope I get to announce something soon.

Little O is very well (apart from the cold that never seems to go away) and more and more fun every day! Last night in the bath she looked at me and let off a huge "trump" (not sure of a suitable MN word) and then dissolved into giggles. It was so funny .

I've discovered a new Cow & Gate good Night milk which I've given her at night for the last week and guess what - it seems to work!! We've had no 5.30am wake up calls - I've had to wake her up at 6.45am this week.

Doris - love the new name! I love some of the names on MN and would love to know the background to some of them!

Twoplusone - sounds like you've got your hands full with your DS. Maybe he's a bit jealous of his little brother or something. Hope the therapist helps.

Myfairone - hope you got on well at your first week back at work. Horrible weather for travelling at the mo - hope your trains have behaved themselves.

We are car-less at the moment. I was driving to my Mum's last Friday when lots of warning lights came on the dsahboard. Following a catalogue of bad luck and mis-communication, we got towed away having waited 4 hours in a lay-by. Little O was great - luckily I had lots of food (for her) and nappies (for her) but I was in a state cos I was so desperate for the loo. Ended up in a compromising position with a drinks bottle and 4 nappies . Suffice to say, we have changed our breakdown cover to someone else now.

DorisIsAPinkDragon · 02/05/2008 22:18

Catstar what a nightmare, I broke down with dd2 just before christmas and the breakdown truck was with us within 30 mins as they knew I had a baby ( on the side of the M5)
Not fun and def not for 4 hours

Hope the car is not "ill" for long,

And nice to see you back Doris

Hi all, haven't been on here for ages. Sounds like everyone is enjoying their LOs... Well life here is hectic. We are nearing the end of our extension work which has been going on for ever. Our little Gracie (or not so little these days) is getting baptised next weekend, so we're having that and the after party back at ours, which is just another thing to keep us busy.

Added to that I am returning to work June 2nd. Just for 7 and 1/2 weeks initially and then permenantly after Summer hols. A prospect I am not looking forward to but dc will be at home with dh.

2+1 - interesting what you said about your ds - my dd 3yo) has been awful recently - pulls, pushes, lays on top of, spits at, screams at her baby sister... Lots of people said they're really surprised as she is a girl and they thought she would be more caring etc. BUT its all about jealousy - she's fab when just the 2 of us - have intorduced a smiley face chart. She responds well to these sort of things thank god, but then again she is younger. I think same sex siblings do find it harder, bless 'em. When the house thing settles down, we plan to have things planned at weekends so oldest dd has sometjing planned just with me and the next day just with daddy that focusses on her..

Oh parenting - it can just be so damn difficult!

xx to all xx

Myfairone · 03/05/2008 15:06

Hello all...well i managed to complete 3 whole days at work!!! wooooohoooooo!

I cried so much on Monday but got through it. He was so tired when I picked him up he went to bed early, which left me very upset because I had only seem him for about half an hour all day! How do you manage to eat dinner? By the time I got in and bathed him I felt ready for bed!

I must admit that the thought of it was a lot worse than actually 'doing it'! But, I have had some very strange emotions. Have been feeling some of the following (all of which are totally irrational!)
1)Will he still love me?
2)Will he forget who I am
...and a whole host of other totally stupid thoughts!

I thought I was feeling way too emotional and then got my period on Thursday! (I gave up my last breastfeed 2 weeks ago)....so all in all its been one hell of a week!!!!

All that said, its bank holiday now, I managed 3 days without falling apart and DS seems fine!

Thank you all so much for your support...I hope that it will all get easier as time goes on.
