Righty ho i'm off to bed, night all

EachPeachPearMum · 09/11/2007 23:04

dd sleeps until almost every morning...
not this week with the fireworks of course...

Jas · 09/11/2007 23:10

I'm not sure I want to know the missing number there EPPm. It 's going to be more than 8 isn't it?

DD1 used to sleep all the time. I had to wake her up to go to music group at 10 some weeks.

EachPeachPearMum · 10/11/2007 00:00

LOL- sorry, I missed it off!

erm, it was 8 actually.

Before I was back at work, she used to get up at around 5 to nine

mustrunmore · 10/11/2007 07:44

I used to get loads of kisses from ds2. Now I get 'nnnooo' and a hand in my face, or a full on attempt ata tonguey snog

Flame · 10/11/2007 10:01

DS used to sleep, and now DD wakes, starts yelling noisily to be let out of her room (has always climbed the gate before ) and wakes him so he then leaps from his cot and he can't go downstairs to watch TV quietly

I was up every bloody hour with one or the other of them in the night. Was not a friendly mummy this morning.

Would MrCSWS prefer dumb serving boy instead?

Just a quickie - busy day today. DD went to park with in laws whilst we went to final school open day this morning, then home for a quick lunch, then I went out to get eye brows/lashes done, and then on to the gym, whilst dd had a sleep at home, then came to meet me at the gym, where we all went swimming. Just got back in, and dh is making dinner , and then we're off out to local bonfire/fireworks (with dd).

UniS · 10/11/2007 19:40

Eppm- boy is a lie abed like your DC. 8.15 this morning,
Flame- LOL at climbing into bed then whingeing. Is flame child not good and pointing out they are hungrey? iIf boy is peckish he grabs me round the knee and drags me to teh kitchen, pointing at cupboard where biscuits live, signing "more more cake" and saying "eat eat more". If that doesn;t work he goes and gets our backpack and ferrets out the snack box.
If he had to I think he would open teh frezer and help himself to frozen peas. he loves frozen peas, isn;t very good at shutting teh frezer door after himself tho.

UniS · 10/11/2007 20:02

www.bbc.co.uk/devon/content/image_galleries/sticklepath_fireshow_2007_gallery.shtml?1
has some pictures from the show i lit last weekend, I think they show off my lighting design quite nicely. The chap I took over from 4 years back said- "you can't use colour there won;t be enough light if you use colour". I like to think I've proved him wrong on that.

mustrunmore · 10/11/2007 20:03

Hello! Just popping in; might be back later as I'm bbysittinfg at friends house! Lord Mayor's Show was fantastic, esp as we had seats, didnt have to be in a crowd of people jostling, the boys had a great view etc. Literally only got in 15 mins ago or somethig though; went for food after, then met dh from work and all came home together .

Flame · 10/11/2007 20:09

I have no idea what I said with the climbing in and whinging

Flameboy is very good at making hunger known... unfortunately DH is better at ignoring

Did you see my question abotu the Blackheath fireworks?

Enjoy your night CSWS

My sister has been informed that we are going out for Xmas meet up lunch thingy as a big family do. That she has no say. She is not amused.

Dont think I said I was going. Like to give you an air of mystery

Think it was me that said about ds2 trying to climb in then whined anyway!

Flame · 10/11/2007 20:18

Ooooooooooooooooh! Yes that makes more sense if it was you. (See, even I can't tell us apart )

at you keeping secrets from me

It's about half an hour to Ware mrm. What's being sold?

mustrunmore · 10/11/2007 22:09

Its just a really nice wooden garage for the boys (despite all the toys, they actually dont have a garage at all at the moment ). Its heavy on postage. But i dont think its worth your petrol if its that far? No worries!

mustrunmore · 10/11/2007 22:33

I'd do you a link but I cant find the cut and paste on this stupid thing Type in wooden garage. Its a Letterbox one I think. £10 postage.

CantSleepWontSleep · 10/11/2007 22:38

This one I assume?

DD didn't like the fireworks btw ("no like it, no bang"), so we had to come home . And she was a PITA by keep kicking her wellies off whilst we were there!

mustrunmore · 10/11/2007 22:43

Thats the one. Isnt it great? Or are you not up to speed on what makes a good garage?!

poor dd. You mean mother taking her to fireworks Er, our friends took us to Rainforest Cafe this afternoon; i've never seen ds2 scream and cry so much as whe nthe 'thunderstorm' happenend first time But he did adore the animatronic elephants.

CantSleepWontSleep · 10/11/2007 22:48

I've never been to RC, but I've heard it's great for kids.

Don't think I'm up on garages really!

Dd did love her swimming today though. She wears armbands and then jumps in to the deep water without us even catching her, and as soon as she surfaces she says 'more'! She floats about quite freely now, so has really come on with the regular pool visits recently. They even had the wave machine on today, and she had a good laugh with that too.

Jas · 11/11/2007 08:38

Sarah - That show looks great, and the coloured lighting really added to the atmosphere. I've never seen anything like it.

mrm- I think I'm closer to Ware than csws, but I'm not sure if I could get there either (it is a nice garage though)

The electician is due back today and I've just emptied the cupboard under the stairs of tools so he'd better turn up now.
I tried to take a shed pic last night but my camera died. The roof should go on today or tomorrow (depending on if the electrician trns up and dp spends today helping him or not) so I will try again later.

DS was up at 4 (again) last night. I'm not sre if it is starting to become a habit, but he's also been up at 10 ish, crying in his sleep - I think he is dreaming something scary, or that makes him jump.
