Meant to say, following on from your cot dilemma thread Falme... ds2 tried to climb into his cot tonight Screamed when he was in though. Had previouly tried to get away with tucking himself into ds1's bed when he climbed on to put the little light on.

JoFan · 09/11/2007 22:04

wow at the playhouse

have an idea

join playhouse to main house and use as extension

Flame · 09/11/2007 22:05

DS likes climbing into his cot - dives headfirst

I tried to get him to sleep in DD's bed today - he curled up small and he fits on her pillow (It is a cot sized pillow!!!)

I did see that but it was ages ago! Maybe she is just really thoughtful.

I'm sure mine will cost more in stress and distress though, csws. had to point out to dp that Every single one of my frieds who saw our house last week said the same thing. - If it was my house I'd have move out until it was finished.

mustrunmore · 09/11/2007 22:05

She's going to build a covered walkway so dd can get her meals without anyone getting wet

Show her the link to the one with the dog pen underneath, it was soo funny!

Flame · 09/11/2007 22:05

But if she does that JoFan... where will I live?!?

OP posts:
JoFan · 09/11/2007 22:06

mustrunmore · 09/11/2007 22:06

Jas, have I never told you aboutthe place i lived when I left exh? I had no floorboards downstairs, no kitchen, flushed the loo with a bucket from the outside tap. But I was strsngely happy there!!

JoFan · 09/11/2007 22:07

ha ha

i have a tree house and am local to you! could put you up!

mustrunmore · 09/11/2007 22:07

Flame, thats why they're building the new attic room; they're going to lock you up in it

Flame · 09/11/2007 22:08

You think I'm joking, dont you...

Flame · 09/11/2007 22:12

I am looking forward to it - as long as there are books and no babies

OP posts:
mustrunmore · 09/11/2007 22:13

And a little trapdoor to poke your food through to you...
Actually, can I join you? I dont mind if you dont talk to me!!

CantSleepWontSleep · 09/11/2007 22:19

Well yes, a trap door might be spot on if we can't build stairs up to it .

Night JoFan. No nap for dd today either, despite me putting her in her cot for half an hour. She's proceeded to wake at least every 39 mins since going to bed too. She's just stirring now, and muttering 'boo-boo' (breastfeed for those who weren't around when she started calling it that) instinctively .

CantSleepWontSleep · 09/11/2007 22:19

Jas - you could all come and stay here for a bit, but would be a bit of a trek to school for the dds!

mustrunmore · 09/11/2007 22:24

Glad someone else has nonseping child (ds2 hsd 15 mins in neighbours car)

What about a little dumb waiter to get up, and a fireman's pole for comng down?!

EachPeachPearMum · 09/11/2007 22:29

Wow- thats a playhouse!

Why on earth does Australia have such a pressing need for catholics?

Perhaps the nuns are all coming up to retirement, and they need carers and replacements for them?

CantSleepWontSleep · 09/11/2007 22:30

Don't you call dh that .

Jas · 09/11/2007 22:42

ds still sleeps for 2 hours most days But does get up early.

Hes been cying in his sleep I had to bring him down and cuddle him, or he would've had dd1 up.

I forgot to say - Major developmesnt for ds - Hehas never accepted a kiss willingly (even from me) and today when my parents left, he leant in and kissed them both The dds and I have all had kisses since. It was lovely.

I'm guessing being wthout exdh made it ok? My friend lived in her friends walk in wadrobe for 6 months once!

I'd loveto come and stay csws. Not sure about the commute to schoolthough....

Phoenix · 09/11/2007 22:45

Ds has an hour to hour and half nap every morning (and doesn't get up til 7-7.30)

Jas · 09/11/2007 22:55

7.30. I think I would give up the nap time if I could guarante a lie in til 7.30.

Phoenix · 09/11/2007 23:00

It's been 7 all this week but i can live with that, i couldn't cope with 5 or 6 i like my bed. He's sleeping at my mums tonight and tomorrow's my day off work so i'll get a loooooooooooong lie in in the morning

CantSleepWontSleep · 09/11/2007 23:01

Ooh yes, wouldn't that be lovely every morning .

CantSleepWontSleep · 09/11/2007 23:01

That was to 7-7:30, not to the loooooong lie in!
