CantSleepWontSleep · 09/11/2007 21:12

Err, I'm not catholic, so how exactly would that help ?

JoFan · 09/11/2007 21:12

so flame, if i have this right you snap in a pre-fold, put it in the bucket, then re-use the wrap part with another pre-fold type insert. is that right?

your extension sound expensive, can'tsleep, are you building a new wing?

Frizbe · 09/11/2007 21:13

Hmmmm I sense we may have a problem getting to the next meet up at your house then CSWS do you think Ryan air (the only airline most of us can afford) will go to Sydney

Frizbe · 09/11/2007 21:15

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/1375/420883?rnd=1194642926055 your opinions please

CantSleepWontSleep · 09/11/2007 21:18

We don't do cheap JoFan .

Flame · 09/11/2007 21:36

Show her the playhouse !!!

Quite at the whole talk of moving.

Yup, that is right with the BP

mustrunmore · 09/11/2007 21:37

Hey, i felt a bit like you csws. After the broken toilet seat fiasco, dh went into B&Q to buy a cheap one, as apparently they have sideways fittings which would work better on out toilet. But he came out with one of those ones that closes really slowly so noone can trap body parts It was like Victorian England, with the entertainment before telly. Dh actually said "boys, come here so I can show you how to use the new toilet seat"

CantSleepWontSleep · 09/11/2007 21:42

Dd's playhouse .

Don't be flame. We talked about moving to Canada last year, and nothing came of it, so I'm not packing my bags yet!

for toilet seat. See, you aspire to be like me .

Phoenix · 09/11/2007 21:42

Friz - I've already met her from that feeling depressed thread a few weeks ago. She's on our meet up thread. The filling was ok thanks and there was no dribbling

Yay for heating mrm

I normally would be at the price of that extension but not for the csws's

Has anyone seen the last post on our old thread?

Jas · 09/11/2007 21:45

Thanks Flame for the thread

@ toilet seat mrm

? Thought BP was blood pressure (the nurse is still in here somewhere) and had to scroll up to find berry plush.

Yay for hot water.
Boo for extension people...surely they should notice major structoral features of the house?

CantSleepWontSleep · 09/11/2007 21:46

Sorry Phoenix - missed your dentist trip until Friz mentioned it. Glad it was ok.
Saw the last post yes. She's now PaperChain. Very nice of her .
Err, I didn't actually mention the cost of the extension did I (deemed vulgar on MN to mention the actual cost isn't it )? .

mustrunmore · 09/11/2007 21:46

Yeah, I saw that Phoenix. Hard to tell if she's peed off with it or jusr being helpful really! Oh well.

Csws, I could never be like you, I like Poundland too much! I wasnt too impressed with dh though; we have about £100 left till paypay on 26th , and he blows £34 on the toilet, so to speak

Jas · 09/11/2007 21:46

Did you go and ask her to change it Phoenix? I did notice the post, but have been here so litle lately I wasn't sure.

mustrunmore · 09/11/2007 21:47

Of course you mentioned the cost.
Oh, maybe that was in the car actually.
God, I dont know.

We've been invited to friends for a family sleepover at new year (the friend you've met csws)

Jas · 09/11/2007 21:48

You didn't mention the cost, but adding 10k gives us a clue....we have less than that to do the bathroom, rewiring, shed, two bedrooms and loft. Plus living while dp does it all instead of paid work....

Flame · 09/11/2007 21:48

In our world anything saying £10k more implies that it is a HUGE amount because (in my world anyway) 10k is 6 months pay

OP posts:
mustrunmore · 09/11/2007 21:49

Ooo, Hello Jas

Just thought;I'm sure my Mum mentioned coming for new year Oh crap. She never came down prekids, so I dont really see why I should change now. Or is that just mean? We do see her every 5 weeks or so now.

Phoenix · 09/11/2007 21:50

I saw 10k but obviously didn't read it properly. Thinking about it 10k isn't even a lot for an extension is it?

CantSleepWontSleep · 09/11/2007 21:50

Well to give them the benefit of the doubt, they left here with the intention of putting a loft room above the new bedroom, but after talking to the planners, the roof wasn't going to be allowed to be high enough, so they just tried to come up with an alternative in one of the other loft sections, which they hadn't studied (although he had noticed the lintel when he was here). And since it didn't even occur to dh (I'm pleading immunity on the basis that I didn't 'get' anything that wasn't clearly drawn ) until we got home, I guess we can't give them too hard a time about it.

mustrunmore · 09/11/2007 21:51

Flame, you really are a twinny. That was 6months pay for me just beofre I had th boys!

Flame · 09/11/2007 21:51

MRM - email

OP posts:
Phoenix · 09/11/2007 21:52

No jas i put something on our thread about noticing another Phoenix name but that was about it and it was ages ago iirc.

CantSleepWontSleep · 09/11/2007 21:53

I've seen her on another thread and she seemed absolutely fine about it Phoenix.

Jas - yours costs less because your dh is a builder you muppet .

mustrunmore · 09/11/2007 21:57

But that was only one little comment ages ago phoenix

Flame · 09/11/2007 22:00
