Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
mustrunmore · 22/11/2007 09:56

Right, I've got 21 friends

CantSleepWontSleep · 22/11/2007 10:03

Congratulations.

Flamesparrow · 22/11/2007 10:18

Mine tend to be MN people or old school friends.

Add Staci on my friend's list - she is very nice, tell her you are MRM from Flame's postnatal thread

mustrunmore · 22/11/2007 10:43

All my friends seem to be too old oto be interested in it

CantSleepWontSleep · 22/11/2007 15:10

I have a rotten stinking cold and am fed up of blowing my nose (and running out of tissues fast!).
[transparent plea for sympathy]

Flamesparrow · 22/11/2007 16:13

Bloody customs!!! They have charged me VAT - I have to pay the bill to get my nappies, and then claim it back - £163 VAT!!!!

Still, lots of happier customers tomorrow...

CantSleepWontSleep · 22/11/2007 16:50

Did you VAT register in the end then? You can't get it back otherwise can you?

Flamesparrow · 22/11/2007 18:01

Nappies are VAT exempt, they shouldn't be charging me it in the first place, tis just that the morons at customs charge it if it says "diapers" - I just call/email and point out that diapers are nappies and they refund. Tis just frustrating.

CantSleepWontSleep · 22/11/2007 19:11

Ah right. Morons.

Phoenix · 22/11/2007 22:03

Where is everyone????

EachPeachPearMum · 22/11/2007 22:18

Hi, am here, just been busy...

Flame - VAT is a headache, hope they sort it out for you.

I just found out last week that I've been on emergency tax code for 18 months for some reason inland revenue think i started working at Next not sure why? but then, judging by yesterday's news, not surprised

CantSleepWontSleep · 22/11/2007 22:24

Am here. Been getting v annoyed with Evans website (said I wasn't registered, despite them emailing me every week, then emptied my basket when I registered again), crappy builders who haven't been here for 2 weeks, dh (because this morning we were def staying in the country and now we're not again), whatever is responsible for me not being pregnant again this month, life, the universe and everything.

Flamesparrow · 22/11/2007 22:25
Flamesparrow · 22/11/2007 22:34

Aww, just gone up to bed... DS is out cold by the stairgate, in amongst dolls

Naturally, I took photos Local radio has a comp for panto tickets for the best sleeping photos (which was why I wanted the photo the othr day too!)

EachPeachPearMum · 22/11/2007 22:37

Oh CSWS- did you have to try long for dd?

CantSleepWontSleep · 22/11/2007 22:40

5 years from beginning ttc until giving birth.

Flamesparrow · 22/11/2007 22:41

You're just waitin until we can do it together again

CantSleepWontSleep · 22/11/2007 22:52

You'll prob be on to your fourth by the time I have another . But it's ok - I'm going to have triplets and catch you up in one fell swoop.

EachPeachPearMum · 22/11/2007 23:01

My parents had a 5 year gap between 2 of theirs/us. Its not unthinkable!

Am I the only one on this thread NOT ttc?

Jas · 22/11/2007 23:27

Lots of sympathy csws for he whole world getting at you, and bein ill Does it help that I've ust lost Masermind o you (again) on a code I should've go two earlier and won?

Not ttc here EPPM. There is 5.5 years between dd2 and ds, but that was by choice.

I've wrapped more presents ths evening, and not gone to a pampered chef night (wouldn't hav bough any of i any way) so I can go out next in December lots

Frizbe · 22/11/2007 23:47

I can recommend the pampered chef spatulas though Jas, even I can't melt them

EPPM I'm not ttc either, although not adverse to adopting, but dh is, so we're sticking with our lot.

{{{{Hugs}}}} CSWS my I recommend my tried and tested getting pregnant theory, have 3 x bottles of red wine and lots of sex, particularly first thing in am, when hungover, seems to work here

Just had a lovely night in with the girls lots of nice food and wine

Flamesparrow · 23/11/2007 07:24

I'm not ttc either - pondering another when DS starts school.

Triplets It'd be fun to watch You'd need a bigger playhouse...

CantSleepWontSleep · 23/11/2007 08:39

lol EPPM - I think it's just me and Chloe ttc, plus Dame who is already pregnant.

Up twice in the night to dd. She has a cold (not as bad as mine) plus a cough, so had to administer nurofen plus her favourite medicine .

I'm off out tonight for dinner with my post natal friends. Typical that I'll be feeling pants for it! Ah well, tis still a rare night out!

mustrunmore · 23/11/2007 09:38

Urgghh, persish the thought of a number 3

I went out last night (just a drink and a chat with a friend), so missed you actually being here for a change. Had a lovely time tyhuogh

Frizbe · 23/11/2007 18:51

lol I have no3 here at the moment ss!

Hope you all have great weekends, I'm just waiting for our guests to arrive, our friends who have come down to help with the shop 'Grand Opening' tomorrow so doubt I'll be on here until Sunday, please don't type too much and that's not a challange.
