Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
mustrunmore · 21/11/2007 22:49

Yep, he's one of the only 14 people I know

Muddle Farm
Muddle Races
Duck in a Truck/Captain Duck etc
Any of those ones with buttons that make noises; Thomas maybe? Or Cars?
Those DK ones with lots of big photos to identify; ds2 loves his ABC one, and opposites.

mustrunmore · 21/11/2007 22:51

A Squash and a Squueeze/ Monkey Puzzle?Gruffalo etc, maybe a few in a set?

Mr Men! Always go down well.
Bob?

CantSleepWontSleep · 21/11/2007 22:58

Ah, you were too late for my Amazon order, but let me see if BookPeople can help (has taken 2 hours to do their order as their site was running so slow ). Wanted little red tractor (his dad's a farmer), but the set I was after is out of stock - harumph.

mustrunmore · 21/11/2007 22:59

Ds1 loved Tractor Tom at that age, annoying though it is. In fact, I won a dvd on a mn comp around then.

CantSleepWontSleep · 21/11/2007 23:04

Bah - Bob the only feasible one from BookPeople, and it's out of stock! Well I ordered a copy of Where the Wild Things Are from Amazon, so maybe he can have that, as I need to stop looking and think about going to bed.

EachPeachPearMum · 21/11/2007 23:05

Jas- that shed is amazing! Can't tell whether that wall in the house is going up or coming down though- sorry! The joists look gorgeous- looks like really beautiful grain.

mrm- perhaps ds is going to be in the forces, and practising for when he has to clean the toilet with a toothbrush? and you can add me to facebook if you like! (I don't have many friends on there either)

CSWS- thanks for dimensions-sounds just right! The only reason I bought it was because I found it reduced in TKMaxx when I was looking for something else (Le Creuset LOL- very closely related... not) and it was 12.99! I had planned to get her a similar dolls house for her birthday but saw that first.

re advent calendar- it may be a good idea but we'll see how it turns out in reality

CantSleepWontSleep · 21/11/2007 23:06

Ooh mrm - hard or paperback books for someone 5 months younger than ds1?

mustrunmore · 21/11/2007 23:07

Bok People are out of stock of alot o things.

You know, those sets are really nice where you get book and a toy. Duck in a Truck for example. They have alot in Waterstones etc.
Any Allan Alberg are lovely too. We love EEPP and Peepo. And Funnybones.

CantSleepWontSleep · 21/11/2007 23:07

Ooh I'd have bought it for £12.99!

mustrunmore · 21/11/2007 23:08

Paperbacks.

EEPM, how do I get you? I dont actually know who you are!!!

CantSleepWontSleep · 21/11/2007 23:09

Have ordered EPPP too, with no-one in particular in mind, on basis that dd can always have it . And Puff, whoever was going on about that recently.

CantSleepWontSleep · 21/11/2007 23:09

moofleur moofleur - she's on my friend's list. But she'll hide her photos from you .

mustrunmore · 21/11/2007 23:10

Get Peepo too. Its really lovely. I used to do alot of projects based round that one when I was teaching.

EachPeachPearMum · 21/11/2007 23:15

Well, obviously we have EPPP too! and Peepo, which dh loves most of all her books I think.
We have gruffalo and gruffalo's child which are huge fun, room on a broom is in my amazon basket now, though its quite wordy.

great ones are the Lynley Dodd Hairy McLairy and Slinky Malinki- they are really fun, with great alliteration, and lovely illustrations, most are available in board book version too.

Im not hiding my photos- I don't have any on there! LOL

CantSleepWontSleep · 21/11/2007 23:21

Says you have 3 photos .

There's a Hairy McClary set, but it's too late now! Would be too late anyway - just discovered that delivery is 7-10 business days and his b'day is in 9 real days.

EachPeachPearMum · 21/11/2007 23:28

oh-well, erm (looks hastily at profile) the photos are ones someone else has posted.... how do I let you see them?

EachPeachPearMum · 21/11/2007 23:28

oh- and that mastermind you set is Waaaay too fiendish! I am a beginner! LOL

EachPeachPearMum · 21/11/2007 23:30

and Jas? How did you do it in 3? just lucky?
unbelievable!

CantSleepWontSleep · 21/11/2007 23:30

But you're a beginner who beat me first time out .

Right, really am logging off now. Night.

EachPeachPearMum · 21/11/2007 23:35

But I got really lucky on the one you set! really!

Jas · 21/11/2007 23:42

OK. It was a false alarm. DP is fine about the meet up

One of my pics is sideways. I turned it roundbu when it loaded it turned iself back again. Eventualy I will show you real rooms to look at then i will all be clear.

Lucky? No. It is pure skill of course.

I read Slinky Malinki to ds last night.I love reading it(he wasn't that impressed, but for some odd reason the bok he likes the most given a choice is a really rubbish postman pat tells the time one. Not sure if i is the clock that interests him, bu he loves it.

mrm - all y facebook friends are family or Fly lady mumsnetters, except my old friend from Brum that I ust found. You could always oin the FLY threads. Or oin the mumsnet roup and randomly ad mumsnetters you recognise
Oh I also have Mr Phoenix. You could maybe try him....

Flamesparrow · 22/11/2007 07:57

@ adding Sister of Flame, and Sister of Flame's Friend (you only want him for regular updates of the freecycle table )

Flamesparrow · 22/11/2007 08:01

Yay for MrJas!

mustrunmore · 22/11/2007 08:42

God, am I that transparent Flame??!!

Flamesparrow · 22/11/2007 08:46
