A mid-week night out? It'll be like I'm single all over again - I'll check it out.

Brushing does help - dogs teeth obviously have a similar make-up to human teeth, their saliva does control plaque build up more than ours but dogs generally don't eat like they do in the wild so seeing as though they have become

Chloe55 · 21/11/2007 20:05

Whoops, lost my train of thought, watched tv for a minute and then posted by accident! Basically, dogs do need help in keeping their teeth clean and brushing will def help but if the plaque has hardened to the tooth brishing wouldn't shift it.

Phoenix · 21/11/2007 20:12

R u watching Gok? Was it you that applied for it? Did you hear anything if it was?

CantSleepWontSleep · 21/11/2007 20:12

Hmmm, can see why your friends were surprised that you were living there throughout the works Jas! Shed looks fab though, and has clearly come on loads since I last saw it.

That farm looks fab EPPM. I had asked my dad if he could build something like it (they seem so expensive for what they are), but apparently he doesn't have the right kind of saw to make the cut outs . Will measure the pigs for you in a mo.

Oh, I just looked at your advent calendar link. I love it. Would be loads of fun finding pressies to fill those .

Well I went to another La Leche League meeting this morning, and then on to the big shopping centre at Milton Keynes afterwards. Was hoping that dd would sleep in pushchair so that I could do some Christmas shopping, but we got caught in traffic on the way there so she slept in car for 25 mins and then didn't bother with any more, so afternoon wasn't productive at all. Did buy her shoes and trainers though, as I couldn't decide which to get , and a load more clothes from Gap, as it's a shop that I hardly ever get to.

Chloe55 · 21/11/2007 20:16

I have it on record Pg as dh can't stand it! I did apply, I got confirmation back that I was a potential candidate and had to send off photos in my bra and knickers and a little mroe about why I wanted to go on. I chickened out at the final hurdle - or more to the point, dh was very against me going on the progranne abd the more I thought about my FIL/step-dad/work mates watching me in the buff the more I got put off.

mustrunmore · 21/11/2007 20:37

What are you talking about? Yet again, something bypasses me completely

Jas, that isnt a shed, its another house! I need a virtual tour to appreciate the other stuff really TBH. But it does look far more complete than the house I lived in for a while when I got divorced!

Aerobics again this morn, so you can expect me to be sore and moaning about it tomorrow! Ds1 was complaining he felt ill after nursery, and he did feel hot, but some baby nurofen sorted hin out. Am waiting to see if it stays that way...

I'm soooo cross with ds2. Friend visited today and brought ds1 birthday pressies(more playmobil!). We'd only had it open and set up for 20 mins when the magician's rabbit and box went missing and then we heard the toilet flushing Did I mention he'd flushed another toothbrush yesterday?

I've been enlightened as to the nappies; friend knew all! Still not convinced they're very nice to use though; not soft and fluffy, as flame would say The bits you fold up are like the stuff they used to make strait jackets from IYKWIM!

Phoenix · 21/11/2007 20:41

How To Look Good Naked mrm on channel 4 now

Flamesparrow · 21/11/2007 21:00

MRM - Psycho is still coming it seems, so no Mika But.... I can look at your fluff when I come and tell you if it is sh*t

Jas · 21/11/2007 21:09

csws. It is not too bad now. When I showed my friendsyou couldn't get in two of the rooms at all!

I forgot about the meet up I haven't told dp yet. Oops. This may cause problems, as I have two other nighs out booked in the following week, and we have a zero income at he moment. Will you all refuse to talk to me ever again if I pull out?

Flamesparrow · 21/11/2007 21:11

YES

I am driving from Bournemouth!

Flamesparrow · 21/11/2007 21:11

You've already paid anyway... just don't drink much

Jas · 21/11/2007 21:13

I'll drop it casually ino converation tonight and see how he takes it (he hasn't compleely lost his paranoia about me meeting people off the internet.)

Jas · 21/11/2007 21:13

I couldn't drink much anyway. I'll be getting the train home on my own.

mustrunmore · 21/11/2007 21:14

Dont worry, it'll prob be reallocated by the time you come!
Who shall I take to Mika then? I'd like to go with dh, but he's not fussed. Plus we'd then be leaving our neighbour to babysit for a very long time, inc putting the boys to bed, which I wouldnt want to do if it was me! Its the other side of London, by tube, so not home esp quick either
There's 3 feamle friend options... one likes Mika but might be less fun, one isnt fussed on mika either way but wants a night out and is nice to get on with, one is really good fun but hates pop type stuff!

Flamesparrow · 21/11/2007 21:15

See, so there is no reason to stay home

You aren't meeting people off the internet anymore, we are now officially friends because you can pick us out of a line up.

mustrunmore · 21/11/2007 21:17

Ooops, wher did all those posts come from while I was typing! You have to come jas. I'll only be having one drink all night as we're skint too, so we can look like weirdo cheapskates together. And we're not poeple off the internet now, we're real. You've been to my house and everything, and I didnt hold you to ransom

Flamesparrow · 21/11/2007 21:18

I have to drive home the next day, so also not drinking much

mustrunmore · 21/11/2007 21:18

Flame , will you stop typimg faster than me and saying what I thought of first!

Frizbe · 21/11/2007 21:19

EPPM like the look of that advent idea

Phoenix, ouch for the cost of the dogs teeth.....

Chloe, you don't need to go on there anyway, you look great

MRM, aerobics well done hon! I'm thinking about trying to get to hula aerobics here next week, new class, starts at 7.15pm, wondering if dh will be home in time for me to make it? sound like a laugh though

CSWS, love the pigs I'm feeling like a bad mother, I have no idea what to get mine for Xmas! have just managed to grab them a jigsaw each and a few books so far, oh and have 2 x Doraaquadraw on order, as they both love her, that's it?!

Ummmm I can hear the patter of tiny feet above my head dd2 played dh up last night whilst I was out at Tescos.......so far tonight I've put her back in bed 5 times!! she's even tried sleeping on the landing I found her nested out there with pillow and duvet

Phoenix · 21/11/2007 21:23

pmsl at dd2 Friz

mustrunmore · 21/11/2007 21:29

Sounds like enough pressies to me Friz

Et, you didnt see my feeble attempt at the aerobics. There's nothing well done about it! Ther ewas a girl there with a baby who looked 2 months tops, and she was thin as a rake and very fit

Frizbe · 21/11/2007 21:42

Oh you mean like Jas

Little madam had just set up camp again on the landing under the light with her books dd1 in the meantime is fast asleep!

mustrunmore · 21/11/2007 22:28

Jas is living proof that a diet composed wholly of tea can be healthy!

I'd just leave dd2 be. I used to love sleeping in odd places; think thats where ds1 gets it from. Remember him this time last year, only sleeping in the wendy house in his room?

Er, help me people. I'm on a mission to look like I have lots of friends, for various reasons . In fact, given that all the people I really know wouodlnt go near facebook with a barge pole, I've just asked sister-of-flame and sister-of-flames-friend to be my friends, given that I've met them once Where can I find more people I know?!!

CantSleepWontSleep · 21/11/2007 22:38

Have you added MrCSWS - he uses facebook only a little more than you!

Quick - best book (£10 or under) for a boy's second birthday present?

CantSleepWontSleep · 21/11/2007 22:42

Pig = 5 x 2.5 x 1 cm
