Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
mustrunmore · 20/11/2007 22:07

So it took you as long to wrap all your xmas pressies as I had to spend getting ds1 to sleep I'm not impressed with him tonight!

We missed you today Jas.Esp as I need your help identifying these items of nappyeralia. How on earth do I foold a square thing to fit a bottom? And do I just bung this vecro thing over the top? And whats this packet of nappy soak? Why cant I just bung them in the machine?

Phoenix · 20/11/2007 22:09

lol mrm there was some nappy folds on Flames site.

CantSleepWontSleep · 20/11/2007 22:11

I'm here. I've been putting together dd's advent calendar. Unfortunately, they didn't have a hen set (the display one had lost several of its pieces) , but I got this instead. I also got this, as the baby bears fit even though the parents don't. Also got a little bead bracelet and bead pretend watch for a bit of variety, and bunged in a few chocs for good measure. The soldiers didn't quite fit, so ruled themselves out of contention.

Pets definitely seem to be more hassle than they are worth!

for dp not telling you you were needed, and for not getting to mrm's.

Phew for the bath being the right temp.

Will check out your link shortly Friz.

Jas - was it divine inspiration that made you solve that mastermind the way you did?!

Phoenix · 20/11/2007 22:12

The link on Flame's site doesn't work

mustrunmore · 20/11/2007 22:12

I was thinking of trying to match up this bag with pics on bumfluff!! Reckon these velcroed things are for in the middle of other things.

CantSleepWontSleep · 20/11/2007 22:13

Oh yes, nappies. Someone please tell me if I can wash all bits of the fuzzi bunz and berry plush together, and if so, at what temp?

mustrunmore · 20/11/2007 22:14

I like the pigs!
Very formal, calling them 'bear parents';I'd have said 'bear Mum and Dad'

mustrunmore · 20/11/2007 22:15

Everything in the world goes in our machine together, at eithr 40 or 50, depending howee far I can be bothered to turn the dial round

CantSleepWontSleep · 20/11/2007 22:22

lol! Do you do cottons/delicates/wools separately, or all in together too?

Parents was shorter to type .

mustrunmore · 20/11/2007 22:24

Well, I do sometime solny put whites in if there's alot eg just changed bedsheets. Other than that, all together! We have no wool really. Not that I've noticed. I like to take the simple approach to housework!

mustrunmore · 20/11/2007 22:27

But I do remove towels and boxer shorts before tunble drying a load. And if putting things to dry on the line or radiators, they are arranged in a proper order. On the line, its grouped according to owner, then towels etc. On the radiators, they go on thr radiator of the room of the owner, and nappies go in the front room because thatswhere they live.

Phoenix · 20/11/2007 22:27

Have you tried those colour catcher sheets mrm? You wouldn't need to sort whites and colours at all then if they work like the advert says

mustrunmore · 20/11/2007 22:29

Nah, they cost omney. And if you have to faff around putting one in, you might aswell faff sorting colours out anyway

Flamesparrow · 20/11/2007 23:00

Lol - yup you can put them in together. Might be worth doing the fuzzi separately for the first wash but is fine after that.

MRM - can you take photos of the nappy bits for me? The nappy soak is pointless.

Will read the rest properly tomorrow

CantSleepWontSleep · 20/11/2007 23:02

WHAT TEMPERATURE?

(and yes, I did mean to shout )

mustrunmore · 20/11/2007 23:07

40 or 50?

Falme, can you sell me 4 inserts but bring hem with you so I dont have to pay you postage??!! Ta! Oh, and last chance to change your mind and come to Mika with me..... I really want you to you know...

Flamesparrow · 20/11/2007 23:13

40 most of the time, a blast at 60 occasionally if you have to (better off just blasting the inserts though)

Mika... Psycho looks like she is backing out, but now my sister might be wanting a lift home! No-one is giving me any definite answers, if they would all cancel on me, I could come.

Flamesparrow · 20/11/2007 23:14

Oh, and yes - will sort out an invoice.

Haven't actually got a price for inserts so I'll look that up too

EachPeachPearMum · 21/11/2007 00:01

Hi all, sorry- haven't been around- sunday dd was very poorly again, so no sleep for any of us. DH took her to the docs monday morning, she now has an ear infection, so dosed up with antibiotics. Dr took one look at DH and treated him too! (he looked pretty rough LOL....maybe even to mrm's standards!) He has sinusitis, and now has antibiotics too.

I went to bed at 7:30 yesterday- straight after her! She stayed there till 9:30 when she screamed to come in with me, so she spent the rest of the night there, but mostly slept thank goodness.
Today she has been a little better, and has slept all evening so far -YAY

She has had a fab 2 days with dh though- they have been doing all sorts- he said he wanted to make up for her missing nursery, so he even did some craft with her today- they made animals with felt and kitchen roll inners! bless!

We're having an advent calendar like this or at least we will have when I've made it, so maybe next christmas!!!

CSWS- what is the size of those pigs please? We have bought dd the pintoy farm for her birthday (yeah i know, talk about planning ahead!) it doesn't come with animals though, and I havent ordered any yet.

Jas · 21/11/2007 07:06

csws - You are ust predictable (I realised after Istarted that my logical process was going to be slow, then I got lucky!)

EPPM - At least dh is getting sorted now. I hope that's the end of the illness for a bit.

I wash my Berry Plush at 40 and do the insides at 60 occasionally. I'd use the nappy soak to try and get stains ou of whites maybe? It is pointless, but at least you didn't buy it.

DP is actally doing all the lifing and actual work. He ust needs me o measure higs wih him, and keep hoovering up the dust. I'm going to go to Argos and see if I can try and return a present I have accidentally bought two of today, but now I'm going to ty and put up a few pics for you of my house.

Flamesparrow · 21/11/2007 12:51

CSWS - I quit that game I had no logic to any of it and was getting annoyed I will play properly tonight!

Chloe55 · 21/11/2007 16:28

£26 for a consultation?! What a rip off! We charge £19 PG. Also, yes, pets sometimes do need a scale/polish/odd tooth extraction from time to time but obviously teeth cleaning chews/teeth brushing/hard food/ gel cleaners can prevent a lot of plaque/tooth decay. Hope it doesn't work out too expensive for you Pg, get a rough estimate before you go ahead with any procedures as you might be hit with a nasty bill at the end. You will prob pay anywhere between £80-£200 depending on the work that needs doing.

Jas · 21/11/2007 18:09

The shed and house progress pictures.

Chloe55 · 21/11/2007 19:17

Ooh, that's a nice sized shed Jas, glad it is coming on well.

Phoenix · 21/11/2007 19:55

Cheers Chloe, We've bought a toothbrush and paste for him to see if we can do something to save paying out that sort of money. Do you think brushing will work? Also if you fancy it we're planning a week night out at Mex in Wakefield in Dec on the meet up thread

Off to look at your pics now Jas
