Hello

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
oooggs · 17/10/2007 20:51

that would be great I am just addicted to looking and watching the programmes - well not as bad now I have found mn!!!!!!!

Sexonlegs · 17/10/2007 20:53

Ooohh Pinions, a night out! How fab. Have a great time.

Maveta, the weather over there is nuts. Hope you are all safe and sound.

IDOB, I LOVE house-hunting. In fact I would love to be an estate agent so I can have a good look around.

Elkie, there must be some general swimming lessons. What is the name of your local sports centre? Do they have a website?

All ok here. Left dh to do bath/bedtime routine, as I went out..................... to Parents' Evening at B's school!

I was really nervous, as she is a handful. Seemingly she is an angel child at school, does as she is asked and is very intelligent. I nearly wept! [relief]!

Hope you are all well. x

Idreamofbroomsticks · 17/10/2007 20:53

Do you find yourself looking at the £1m+ houses on Rightmove? Very bad habit indeed. I wish I had the nerve to bluff it and go and have a look at a few of them!

Sexonlegs · 17/10/2007 20:54

x posted with lots. My brother and sil are househunting and I have been helping them. They have a budget of 2 million. FFS! It is a different World for them!!!

Idreamofbroomsticks · 17/10/2007 20:57

OMG SOL. Wow! Where did that lot come from?

oooggs · 17/10/2007 20:57

wow sol £2m!!!!!!!!!!!

yes emmymummy always looking at what I can't afford

Well done Becky for being a good girl at school xxxxxxxx

mammyjo · 17/10/2007 21:01

Evening ladies. Just popping in before going to bed as am tired, have had a good day in work though.

Elkie, well done to your sis! She must be so pleased Hope you get the swimming sorted.

NL, sending you vibes. Now, the footmuff, blue would be the sensible option as it would match BUT, I am loving all the pink stuff I can buy for my girly so I would buy the pink one!! If you go into the shop could you try the pink one on the buggy and see how it looked. At least if it looked a bit odd you would know before spending any money!

Maveta, that is scary weather. How is your boss and the twins? You have probably mentioned her but I have missed it! Hope she is ok.

Pinions, have a fab night out. You deserve it so enjoy!

Oooggs, your pics are so cute. I have just noticed Erin in her pink little sister top. Ffion has one of those too

IDOB, hope the house is nice on Friday. Or, maybe not, so you dont fall in love with it!!!!

Idreamofbroomsticks · 17/10/2007 21:03

Yes, SOL good to hear that B is being good at school. It's funny as I always think Em is a handful, but also always get glowing reports from her teachers. Also had a parent's evening today, but all is well so not much to report really. [also relief]!

mammyjo · 17/10/2007 21:05

OMG SOL, 2 million pound budget! That is dream money to me! And well done B, what a good girl!

Idreamofbroomsticks · 17/10/2007 21:06

Elkie - I meant to link to this thread for you re. baby swimming. Check out the photos that they take at their photo-shoots.

Pinions · 17/10/2007 21:13

Not really here! What "field" is your brother in SOL . Very nosey, moi!

Always makes me think of one of my bf's when I hear about people with that kind of money. Her house was valued close to £1m and that was roughly 8 ish years ago when she lived with her (then) restaurant owner italian husband.

Who then cheated on her with one of his waitresses and left her alone with the two children what a twunt.

Anyway the moral of the story is, in comparison......

She then crippled him anyway with her settlement .

(Twice over ).

Sexonlegs · 17/10/2007 21:15

Thanks ladies. I am so proud of her.

My brother is a Director of a Financial Services Company, and earns a packet! He works hard, but so do nurses....

He has done v well for himself.

Pinions · 17/10/2007 21:16

(But still very SOL). !!!

CaptainDippy · 17/10/2007 21:17

NL - Busy and sensible - moi!!?

Nah.

Evening.

Just painting four wooden spoons to look like babies. You know - the usual Wednesday evening stuff ......

geordiemacmummy · 17/10/2007 21:19

hey ladies;

Just a quick post as am off to bed soon... been down to my mums for a couple of days - nice but tiring driving 150 miles one day (was away by 6am) then back the next day.

Have had a quick catch up but really cant remeber anything.

The waterbabies link is the same classes as WO, Bumble and I go to - its great, but quite pricey at £11 for half an hour. We were offered the chance of a photoshoot - but its was £45 to take the pics - you only get 3 chances, tyhen £200 for pics

Right off to bed now, meeting Vio for lunch tomorrow.

NorthernLurker · 17/10/2007 21:23

Idob - just don't fall in love with house and then spend the next month anxiously trying to sell yours quick enough!

Mammyjo - that is exactly how I feel re footmuff - will try pink because if I don't I'll never get the idea out of my head.

B is six months on Sunday - I can't believe it really. I have enjoyed this time so much - those of you who have one or two babes - if you can manage it - go for three - its brill!

Of course we've now grown out of this house, have no money, no time, a very full boot, will need a roofbox for holidays and a vault of gold for uni expenses....but its still wonderful.

Hmmmm - just had second wispa of day and are starting to wonder what they put in them as they seem to be having oddly euphoric effects.....

NorthernLurker · 17/10/2007 21:24

Ok I'll bite - whats with the wooden baby spoons?????

Pinions · 17/10/2007 21:25

Right....off to research low fat winter type casseroles, oh the joys of being female.

Will report back after the weekend lol x

(Think I have an MN addiction ), please someone tell me there are worse things in life. (Seriously ).

CaptainDippy · 17/10/2007 21:25

Yey pink!

NorthernLurker · 17/10/2007 21:28

Is researching casseroles a euphmism (can't spell it please guess what I mean)

Pinions · 17/10/2007 21:34

No. I really am looking at low fat winter type casseroles.

Right am off. Night all x

Sexonlegs · 17/10/2007 21:37

Wow Pinions, one night looking for low fat casserole recipes, the next out on the town. Love ya!

B just woke up screaming. Think she was having a nightmare, but was totally out of it/incoherent. Poor lamb.

elkiedee · 17/10/2007 22:23

Hi anyone who's still about

Pinions, hope you have a great night out on Friday

IDOB, thanks for the link - unfortunately Water Babies isn't around in this area - I have a card for something called Tiny Swimmers but the website seems to have only just been registered.
