forgot to mention that at the auction I saw young Jack and parents, he showed me his war wound (a scar right across his tummy) and seems fine in himself, he has to go to hosiptal once or twice a week for various tests etc....

Mum on the otherhand isn't fairing too well, she is off sick from work and the dr wants to put her on anti d's and she doesn't want to. Didn't really have time (or place) to chat.

Pesha, sorry to hear about your dog, and about your continuing money worries. Congratulations over the job.

oooggs, sorry to hear about your friend. I hope she can get an alternative form of help than ad's if that's what she feels she needs.

dp was fairly good when he came home, took D for a walk to our favourite newsagents to collect a magazine we have on order there still so as to give me a little break, then we had a bit of a dance with D (it sometimes works to cheer him up when he's fed up with other things to put on a couple of tunes and bounce him around to the music). He continues to grizzle a bit but is sleeping at this moment.

I found an old friend on Facebook tonight and we've exchanged messages, so that was a bright spot in a trying day. Tomorrow we have a coffee morning and baby group so hopefully it will cheer up D and myself to get out.
