Yup, facebook.

Any of those dolls lifesized baby shape? (Need one for demos and B's are all too small... I get really odd looks when I turn up with Dipsy)

OP posts:
Jas · 27/09/2007 13:37

They fit tiny baby size real clothes. Do you take Dipsy the tellytubby?
I've been back in the loft looking for a mobile and found 3 fairy dresses. One white, andtwo pink all sparkly and sequinned with net skirts and wings.....anyone want them? Let me know by tonight or they will go in the sale too.
Oh, and a cerise feather boa

CantSleepWontSleep · 27/09/2007 13:56

Ooh ooh - I'm getting all excited now. I just know that dd is going to love dressing up, and all the dolly bits sound good too (except poss pink plastic and frilly cot!). I know nothing about modern day dolls though - do they do anything (cry, have nappies that need changing or whatever)?

MrCSWS will be coming home to a cleaner house than he left, and if he's lucky I'll have left him some dinner. And of course he'll get to see me and dd. That should be quite enough Chloe!

Btw MrCSWS, if you're reading, you do realise we have no gift (or ideas for gift) for your mother for Saturday?!

MrCSWS · 27/09/2007 14:34

Cleaner house sounds good to me.

Yes, realised today no present for Mum, I thought looking after Pippa last weekend and this is a present enough

Flamesparrow · 27/09/2007 14:45

A fine gift! (Or many fine gifts if we add in the cleaner house)

Flamesparrow · 27/09/2007 14:47

Oh, dolls do however much/little you want them to.

My family know that if they buy talking/pooing babies then THEY get to keep them at their house.

Should I be ? B keeps seeing toy adverts saying "Can we get that for Christmas, it's quiet, you like quiet"

OP posts:
CantSleepWontSleep · 27/09/2007 14:53

pmsl flame .

I'm not sure that your mum will see it that way MrCSWS. So come on all, what can we get MIL for her b'day?

Flamesparrow · 27/09/2007 14:57

Buy her a handbag....

OP posts:
CantSleepWontSleep · 27/09/2007 15:02

You know I can't do that as she bought me one!

Flamesparrow · 27/09/2007 15:12

You could buy her an even nicer one

OP posts:
CantSleepWontSleep · 27/09/2007 15:23

Ahem. Any other suggestions?

MrCSWS - please remind me to bid on an auction finishing at 7:49 tonight!

Flamesparrow · 27/09/2007 15:40

link....

CantSleepWontSleep · 27/09/2007 15:48

It's just a coat, but I've forgotten to bid on about 5 that I wanted already!

Flamesparrow · 27/09/2007 15:55

"This coat is in perfect condition, as my daughter preferred her Boden pink padded jacket last winter"

Not just "It has hardly been worn" - no, we have to know about her other Boden coat

Tis nice

Ok Happy Birthday Mr CSWS (I did get that right didn't I?)

for good night at the pics Chloe

Probably good job you didn't mail me Flame, as my inbox is bulging with things to do!

MRM at your new finds and lol at hoovering the pavement.

So dd1 is still up and hanging on just, she's knackered, dd2 went to bed at 5.30, as she was just a mess. Dd2 whalloped her head this am on a corner of hall wall, where there is a recess for the understair cupboard, huge cut and an egg head she rallied though, so we went down to Derby met friends and had a very cold picnic at Markeaton park, played etc, then back to mates house for a cuppa. All fell asleep in car on way home, so woke up crabby.......I tried to feed them, in fact dd1 is still trying to eat now Off to pack the car with camping gear soon lots of fleeces and hats I reckon....

Jas · 27/09/2007 18:41

Have fun Frizbe. I hope dd2s head is ok.

lol @ the other Boden coat on the ad

csws I did a whole post for you earlier, and forgot to press post, then went out I've kept the nicest to dresses for Pippa, and if you come over here some time in the not too distant future I will get all the doll stuff out for you to look at.

CantSleepWontSleep · 27/09/2007 21:31

Thanks Jas. Sounds like a good excuse for a visit to me!

I won the coat btw. It doesn't look all that in the picture, but there was another one on the other day, which I think was the same coat, but with a much better pic. At least dd won't freeze now (as long as it's not toooooo big)!

CantSleepWontSleep · 28/09/2007 08:17

Where is everyone?

Jas · 28/09/2007 08:19

here

Flamesparrow · 28/09/2007 08:31

Granddad is on a 24hr pain relief thing now. Probably be gone over the next couple of days.

Feeling much more human today and SHOULD be able to absorb what I am reading.

Phoenix · 28/09/2007 12:13

Flame.

for feeling more human.

Ds is loving carrying bags around at the mo and they r mostly ladies handbags he finds, he's got a lovely silver one at my grandmas, and dh hates him having girls bags so we've just been at Matalan and bought him a Postman Pat backpack. He's currently walking round with it, filling it with toys and generally loving his new bag as well as carrying my handbag round too

I just looked round at him and he's sat on the sofa with his bag on his knee
