CountessPHOENIXula · 16/10/2007 21:41

Oh bugger forgot about Bringing Up Baby. I'll have to watch it at 10pm on ch4+1 thanks for the reminder csws.

FlameBat · 16/10/2007 21:43

Got it!!

Jas · 16/10/2007 22:13

Evening

Hi TicTac Good to have you back.

mrm- I got lost coming home I should've gone back to the road I kew. The road you directed me to was different. I had to buy a map after 20 miutes of aimless driving.
Thanks for lunch, and all the goodies. I will post a small parcel to you soon. Would ds like another small PP person?

ds did a full flip out of his cot, over a bedside table onto the floor this evening He is ok, but I now have to have bits of furiture in the middle of the room to stop him climbing.

I had loads to say, but I've forgotten it all. May be back in a bit.

FlameBat · 16/10/2007 22:23

Will that stop him climbing? I remember Psychomum having a plan like that, and he just used em to climb on

DS regularly flips out and onto everything, but seems to bounce

Jas · 16/10/2007 22:29

He used the bedside table to get high enough to flip over, as it was higher than the matress. I'm hoping now he can't reach it from inside the cot, he will be safe for a bit longer.
Of course the rest of the time nothng stops him climbing. He had the biscuits off mrms kitchen table quick enough, and I've had to move the hamster cage into another room after he climbed on top of it (on a cupboard) and stood on it.

FlameBat · 16/10/2007 22:36

DS would be poking his nose and fingers into it (MRM has a hamster?!!?)

Jas · 16/10/2007 22:40

No I have a hamster. MRM has chocolate biscuits.

FlameBat · 16/10/2007 22:43

Oooooooh - I thought it was his reign of chaos today

I couldn't picture MRM with a hamster!

CantSleepWontSleep · 16/10/2007 22:46

Mmmmm chocolate biscuits. Hope you left some .

Jas · 16/10/2007 22:47

I think chocolate biscuits make easier pets for mrm

The near hamster crushing was this weekend here. I need that room to be safe to leave him so the hamster is balanced on top of the fish tank now.

We really need a new thread. Do they stil lock at 1000 posts?

FlameBat · 17/10/2007 07:05

Yup - someone suggest a title

mustrunmore · 17/10/2007 07:07

They werent choc, only choc chip. I'm not that generous! Anyway, came down this morning and they're all gone

csws/phoenix; I'm in the fat band too Told you all I havent improved.

Jas.. ooops! sorry! You could've called and asked me where you were! Did you just follow my road, turn left, and then left again, like I said? That brings you out onto the same main road, but about 200m further up. Honestly. I didnt send you off on a wild goose chase! Lovely to see you anyway!!

I've provisionally booked ds1's birthday(needed a £100 deopisit to confirm, but their card machine isnt working ) Still might g halves with his nursery friend, which would help. Its soft play(the one 30secs from nursery!). Now, I decded t ogo for a weekday morning, because it was £60 cheaper, and also still had spaces available. That actually only prevents 2 of his friends coming due to being at school(and the dd's, sorry Jas, havent told him yet...). But one friend texted to say she understood but was very sad and it made her feel unimportant. So now I feel crap But I couldnr spend £60 more for the same thing just for the benefit of 2 people, esp as she said she wasnt coming if it was aon the weekedn anyway as she has a prior engagement. Anyway, at least its sorted, and its an all-in price right down to cake and party bags so no effort required by me. And it finishes 1/2 hr before nursery starts, so the whole class can walk down together!
vvvpoooooooooooooooo \\\\\\44444444444444444444444444444444444444444444444444444444400........20333+6++++ And when ds2's birthday comes round366666666666662he hasn2t got ant friends. so that'll be
+6ev+en cheaper!

FlameBat · 17/10/2007 07:47

Nice friend, making you feel guilty about YOUR son's birthday.

So far my only title ideas are Feb 06 - Imagine, I did it and gobbledigook

Or Feb 06 - 3 whole syllables

(thinking that covered words, sentences and gibberish) although "words, sentences and gibberish" is a title too

Help me someone or it'll end up being Feb 06 - Bibble.

Jas · 17/10/2007 07:50

I quite like Bibble as a title

mustrunmore · 17/10/2007 07:53

So do I, in a children-dont-understand-blackadder kind of way!

BTW, is it just me, or is it unusual to need way over 50% of the total as a deposit? Not that it matters, as we wont cancel.

CantSleepWontSleep · 17/10/2007 08:04

I'm ok with Bibble!

mrm - just checking - does ds1 have nursery tomorrow?

mustrunmore · 17/10/2007 08:08

Yes, you know he does! Its every day
I've got an exciting stash of girl stuff in lodger's room for you

CantSleepWontSleep · 17/10/2007 08:17

Ah, right. And it starts at 1, or was it 12:30?
