Er, £2.99, accounting bird

CantSleepWontSleep · 26/09/2007 22:45

It was bad typing, honest .

Jas · 26/09/2007 22:45

csws can't add up

mustrunmore · 26/09/2007 22:47

mumsnet horse ad

Well, he's actually got 3 things. The 2.99 was a dodgy dvd from the corner shop, called The Breastford Wives (right up his street!) Then I cheated and got him two things off freecycle; one of those phrenology heads and a palm reading hand Really nice man that we got them from; had a very calm feeling house, and ds1 loved his dog!

mustrunmore · 26/09/2007 22:49

But dont worry csws, Frizbe thinks I can buy 700 penny chews for £4.01

CantSleepWontSleep · 26/09/2007 22:56

lol. We're excelling ourselves with our mathematical abilities tonight then!

Just went searching and found your thread before you linked. So how much did you get on ebay then?

Found the other thread too, but don't know the seller, or where they live, and prefer one on a glider. Never mind, it's not like I was actually planning on buying one - I just wouldn't have wanted to look a gift horse in the mouth (ha ha - pun intended ).

mustrunmore · 26/09/2007 22:58

£22 buy it now. I'm happy with that , and ds1 will get a handful of golden coins to put in his soldier in the morning Cant wait to see how long it takes him to notice that there's no horse in his room!!

CantSleepWontSleep · 26/09/2007 23:05

You know I've never even noticed it when I've been in his room. Must have been the other 3000 toys detracting from it .

mustrunmore · 27/09/2007 07:33

It was in th front room for a bit too. Cheeky mare.

He woke up this morning and was s osupprised because his little people stuff was in his room, then he said 'oh, my horse is sold!', and I gave him 22 coins, which hewas very chuffed with as he counted them into the money box!!

today is skip day

Flamesparrow · 27/09/2007 07:36

I still have man flu - although with girly crying mixed in

damewashalot · 27/09/2007 07:39

not read last night yet too much but will just add that funding is meant to be for 5 sessions so nurseries must 'jiggle' the books a bit to claim it for the hours instesd IYSWIM you have to sign to say you are getting x sessions. It could be 2.5 hrs actually was getting confused as our sessions are 2.75 but we don't charge for the other 15 mins which some preschools do

Will catch up later going to be brave and sociable this morning, meeting up with 4 other mums and LOs at soft play all PFBs I'm going to look like a neglectful mother aren't I? I know them from music group we go to but you don't get chance to chat or play there. My poor little chap needs friends

Jas · 27/09/2007 07:52

I hope you get some rest Flame.

Very brave, Damewashalot. I always look like a really neglectful mother (maybe I am?) but luckily most of my friends have lots of children too.

Your 22 coins mrm. You are very well organised (assuming you weren't paid in pound coins) Yay for skip day.
I have got a load of toys down from the loft to go in an NCT sale at the weekend. I wonder if they will take nappies? I got the dds dolls cots down but as soon as dd2 saw hers she refused to let me sell it.

Jas · 27/09/2007 08:21

Did I mention that dp gave me a new mobile phonelast week? And I moaned because it didn't have a camera?

Just as well really....I've just taken it out of the washing machine after going through a full cycle.

Frizbe · 27/09/2007 09:07

Jas, that's very funny

I could have sworn MRM said she'd got £7 to spend, ambles off absentmindedly....

Flame {{{Hugs}}}

Oh don't know what to do today, meeting a friend, but neither of us can make our minds up where to go! rubbish eh.

CantSleepWontSleep · 27/09/2007 09:08

Oh Jas, what are you like. at watery phone graveyard.

Please let me know what girly toys are being sold before they are sold!

Phoenix · 27/09/2007 09:08

Ooooops Jas. Hope it recovers or is it completely knackered?

Dh is just putting chilli in the slow cooker then we're off to soft play

mustrunmore · 27/09/2007 09:14

Jas; you must have bee nlearning frm ds2, he's the master of washing machines. He's gutted that there isnt one to fiddle with now!

Got some Brio track and a bridge out of the skip Had to hang right over the edge whilst holding ds2's reins. And got rid of knackered hoover; ds1 loved hoovering the pavement Going to saunter back later to see if there's anything else good!!

Chloe55 · 27/09/2007 09:15

Jas!

Arrrrggh I can't do anything on here at the moment without having porn and spyware pop ups turning up all over the place, it's doing my chuffin' head in!!!!!

Went to watch 'Knocked Up' at the cinema last night, it was so funny. First time I have been since I was pg and it was with a couple of girlies too so it was a really nice night.

I'd go with the penny chew idea too MRM

mustrunmore · 27/09/2007 09:18

But dh doesnt like sweets!

Flamesparrow · 27/09/2007 09:22

lol @ the phone

Mum is collecting DD for me, so I am off to bed whilst DS sleeps this morning. I hate giving into a bloody cold, but right now my limbs aren't doing what I am telling them to, and I have 1000 things to do with work later so I need to get rid of it NOW. Benefits woman coming later and I have to find my tax credits letter before then.

Off to bed, will read properly and reply more later (I have missed something somewhere so am completely baffled about MRM's presents

mustrunmore · 27/09/2007 09:24

No one could ever be baffled about my pressie buying

Flamesparrow · 27/09/2007 09:25

Jas, MRM and CSWS - you all have email (nothing exciting and not leaving people out - they were the first 3 email addresses I could remember )

Happy Birthday MrCSWS

Chloe55 · 27/09/2007 09:45

Happy birthday MrCSWS - is MrsCSWS treating you to anything special tonight?

Flamesparrow · 27/09/2007 12:22

Hurrah, slept all morning, now feeling MUCH more human.

Odd request, but if any of you have any empty cereal boxes that you want to post to me, then I would be very grateful DH needs to make a dragon...

Jas · 27/09/2007 13:01

I've replied.

Happy birthday Mr csws (are we getting this info from facebook? I never look at it)

I'm not selling big kid toys CSWS, only baby stuff. I have a dolls pram (Proper sprung one) with matching travel cot, high chair, bouncy chair and sling you could have for a small donation to dd1s money box though
I also have Baby born x2 and princess Alexa dolls for free, with loads of accessories, including cots (oneis pink wood and one is pink plastic and slightly frilly.
