My initial thought was a reaction to medication; thats happenend before, and they've been altering a few things recently. But then I thought, maybe its justthe bug we've all had?

CantSleepWontSleep · 13/10/2007 20:51

Ooh hope she's alright mrm. Maybe she has dodgy bug too.

Yay for feeling better Jas. I recommend eating an individual M&S jam roly poly pudding, with fresh cold custard .

Was just pmsl at this old thread. Flame has def seen it before, but the rest of you might not have.

Frizombie · 13/10/2007 21:46

MRM hope your mums ok

Flame I think it was MR CSWS not my dh, he's away?

{{{Hugs}}} re your dh CSWS, can you not at least pretend to be interested in the Rugby and ogle the blokes?

I think dd2 has just gone to sleep, we got back at 9pm ish from my parents and think she's just dropped, was fed an apple fruit shoot at Farm Park earlier today, been wappy ever since

UniSarah · 13/10/2007 21:47

CSWS & Jas- I'm in Exeter, its a unicycle club. which uni did you go to CSWS? plym or exe?
to all- NO I'm not a university student nor was i ever, the uni bit is for unicycle. yes those one wheel things. I don't mind if you laugh. I have medals.
Boy hasn't got the anti pink thing yet, hes happy to wonder along with his pink dolly buggy, the girls across teh road are a bit funny about it, but they are 5 & 6. He just went into PJs last wek when I admitted his 12-18 baby grows were a bit short on arms and legs (legs I cut teh feet out of at 13 months). hes the youngest boy at mums and tots so we get lots of hand me downs, also has 3 older boy cousins.

CantSleepWontSleep · 13/10/2007 21:58

I picked up on the unicycle thing the other day Sarah. I went to Exe, but best mate was at Plym (met when we worked together part time).

Flamesparrow · 13/10/2007 22:08

D'ya know, when MRM said MrCSWS I even went back and checked and was still convinced it was MrFriz (was thinking you needed to be up at a stupid time for him to leave today, hence the set bedtime) - I think it must be where she said Friz beforehand, I just merged em

Bah, I blame the phlegm muddling my brain

OP posts:
Jas · 14/10/2007 07:22

I knew it was mr csws, then I got confused when no one said so, so thankyou Frizbe.

I don't think they go anti-pink until they start responding to peer pressure. All small boys seem to like pink and sparkly until they are told not to.
I won't laugh at the unicycle (I also made the right connection when you mentioned it before). I'm slightly in awe of you though. I'd love to try it but you are a bit far away from me

I'm about to have my first cup of tea for almost 3 days now.

mustrunmore · 14/10/2007 08:14

Jas, thats the longest you've ever bee nwithout tea isnt it?!

Doc cmae out to Mum and gave her some kind of injection. Said if the pain subsided in 30 ims, was prob gallstones. If not, would need further diagnosis. her friend stayed last night, and I havent heard anything as yet.

Jas · 14/10/2007 08:17

I hope no news is good ews

I don't drink tea at all when I am pregnant, but two days and not pg is a long time for me. (I've had knowing smirks from two friends when I refused a cup yesterday)

CantSleepWontSleep · 14/10/2007 08:22

Blimey - you must have been reeaaaaaaallly ill to go without tea!

Gall stones huuuuuuurt.

Frizombie · 14/10/2007 09:24

Ouch for your mum MRM, hope she's feeling better today and its nothing too serious.

Flame, doh I blame the phglem too!

Jas, lol for the knowing looks

Uni, so you bringing your cycle to our next meet up then?

Where's everyone else then? hello out there?

Frizombie · 14/10/2007 09:26

Oh off to brave Ikea for breakfast with the girls, I have to get some sort of shelving for our window displays from there or b&Q and I've been waiting for some of their shelves to come into stock,(some modular glass thing, at last count some of it was in and some of it was in, the glass and the supports, but the frame wasn't, doh will see today, if not, no further waiting, will choose summat else and put up with not being able to adjust the height.

Flamesparrow · 14/10/2007 10:07

Hope your mum's ok MRM

with the wrong husband

DS was in just a nappy when I went in to him (woke at 9.50am dontcha know), pointed at the sleepsuit and announced "I did it!"

I have known for ages about the uni bit being for unicycle but have absolutely no idea how I know.

OP posts:
CountessPHOENIXula · 14/10/2007 10:26

Hello,

Hope your mum's ok mrm.

for dd2 friz. for hitting him back.

yay for tea Jas

at ds taking his sleepsuit off Flame, when i went to get Lew out of his cot this morning (he'd been awake a while playing happily in his cot) he'd pulled his sheet off the mattress and thrown it on the floor

I'm doing a pork dinner later and need your tips for lovely scrummy crackling please

mustrunmore · 14/10/2007 10:29

i knew nothing about the unicycle. But then again, i dont pay attention

ds2 said a 3 syllable gobbldygook today instead of just 2 syllables!

Ds1 has requested luch at Subway Need to go to woolies so I guess it all fits ok!

Flame, if its a small fitting 18-24 sleepsuit, do you want it posted, or get it in December?

Jas, I'm going to give you first dibs of these bits, as you can take them next week if you want any(and Flame has had most of my stuff in the past!). Flame , you can have second pick!
Monsoon denim jacket 18-24
Cherokee red and blue anorak 18-24
Osh kosh dark red fleecy jumper 18-24
Ds2's funny fleece hat that he wore on the London Eye that time we all went
Some socks. Think they're 3-5.5?

Jas, do you need any new cutlery?! Thats gogin to the charity shop if you dont want it!! In fact, it might even go today

mustrunmore · 14/10/2007 10:30

at boys misbehavin in ttheir cots. If only ds2 would stay in his and not end up in our bed

Flamesparrow · 14/10/2007 10:59

No idea about crackling

Posted would be good if possible (you have spend a small fortune on posting things to me... do you want a nice lump of cash, xmas drinks, or some sort of gift in exchange - this is a pick one not refuse all situation )

pmsl @ 3 syllable gobbledigook

Lol @ stating I have to wait for second pick I just get excited at the prospect of stuff

Why do none of you have midget boys that I can pass stuff onto? All of B's clothes go to my friend because she gives me all of her older one's clothes for B

OP posts:
Jas · 14/10/2007 12:17

No crackling here either. I'm rubbish at it.
I know you are supposed to rub salt in (the first time I tried it was inedible as I used too much and the oven needs to be very hot for the last 1/2 hour or so I think.

mrm- I'd like to try the hat, and possibly the red fleecy jumper, if they fit, but I'm starting to buy 2-3 clothes now, so don't really need anything else, thanks.

We had a free ticket to see Ratatouille today, but missed it as I lost the car keys. After 1.5 hours of hunting I found them dow the back of the radiator. Thanks for that ds.

2boysmacca · 14/10/2007 12:41

will promise to post later but just had to respond to cracklin' The fat needs to be dry so ideally it needs to be out of it's packaging for 24 hours. Get it out and dry and draw out the moisture with kitchen roll. Good luck....

mustrunmore · 14/10/2007 14:42

Right. Well, all those bits are in a bag labelled Jas/Flame anyway! you can just hunt through. How about clarks sandals size 6 sandals, so no width fitting IIRC.

3 syllables is a breakthough, not a pmsl

Trust me, nothing required in exchange. Unless you happen to have something the boys really want lying around

Still no news from home

Frizombie · 14/10/2007 16:17

at 3 syllabals, word of the day here is 'push' after we were doing jigsaws and I kept saying push, to get dd2 to fit them together no doubt she'll be trying that one out in revenge at nursery tomorrow probably from the top of the slide...
No news is good news re your mum, hope everything is ok when you hear {{{hugs}}}

Macca, I've been lucky with my crackling all this time then I just chuck it in the oven, with a bit of sea salt and olive oil rubbed over the top! I think I usually cook at 200-220, seem to do most things at that, bar cakes.HTH's Phoenix?

Lost my rag at Ikea's crap staff this am, 10 people waiting, no one at computers, to check for stock, random supervisor wanders over and says, oh no staff, 10 people say no! to her, she says, you'd all better walk to the next section and join the que there then wtf? some went, and some like me took their business elsewhere, pants.
Ended up at Homebargins by accident, were I got a few bits I wasn't supposed to be getting! like a Dora Fleece Blanket for £3.99, am holding it hostage for good behaviour all week! and dd2 had me laughing by roaring at the Halloween masks!
Got two argos tv stands (I wanted 3 tier shelves and this was all I could find that I liked) for the shop window display and two matching stacking units!

mustrunmore · 14/10/2007 16:27

Oooo, ds1 would love a dora blanket!

Everyone's else's babies say words.

no-one answering the phone at home, and dh not answering at work or mobile

Jas, does either dd want a bratz doll? Still trying to find someone who likes the bloody things!

Frizombie · 14/10/2007 16:44

MRM is the bratz boxed still? if so I'll have it for a xmas prezzie for my god daughter (10 and loves em)
dd2 only does words if you listen, they're not all that clear still

mustrunmore · 14/10/2007 16:46

Is it hell as like. When ds1 won it attthe school fair, I tried to convince him to give it as a pressie, but he was adamant he wanted it to keep. Then played with it 3 times tops.

Frizombie · 14/10/2007 16:57

Doh!! Jas must surely be able to persuade one of her girls to have it?
