I aim for at-home

Yes please if the purple thing is about, I'll take it next week.

I'm just going to stick with the crackers then. Definitely taking advice from the woman who's been there. This bug is horrible.

mustrunmore · 12/10/2007 20:24

Then you succeeded; I'd quite like you to adopt me

Will get purple thing down from the loft . Do remind me if I forget!

I didnt even get as far as solids; lucozade sips and ice cubes for 1.5 days!

CountessPHOENIXula · 12/10/2007 21:54

Hello

I made a mistake of reading a postal strike thread on here and am now a tad pissed off. I'll stop moaning then Jas

How is everyone?

Jas glad you're feeling better

Lewis is at my mums for the night but i'm at work in the morning so i won't get a lie in.

Oh and i got asked for id in Sainsburys today to buy some lagers. I said 'i'm 26' She said 'you don't look it have you got some id'

CantSleepWontSleep · 12/10/2007 22:17

Oh dear. I nearly linked to that thread the other day Phoenix to get your views on it, but read the first few posts and it all seemed a bit one-sided. I guess that hasn't changed.

Yay for feeling a bit better Jas.

CantSleepWontSleep · 12/10/2007 22:44

Ah, I see there is a second thread, which you've posted on.

Right, nothing exciting happening, so off to bed.

Frizombie · 12/10/2007 22:49

Phoenix for the mistaken ID, how I wish {{{Hugs}}} for work being a pile of cack, can't be helping with the unofficial strikers either

MRM great news, fingers x'd they come back as firing blanks!

Jas {{{{Hugs}}} hope you feeling better

So what's happened to Dame then??? preggers or not??? duh?

Dh away here this weekend, event in York, not suitable sleeping accomodation for the girls. So I'm on me tod!

Wasn't happy when picked dd2 up from nursery. Some horrible little boy, had pinned her down in the playground and goudged her left cheek with his finger nails, its a rather deep cut she also has pin down marks on her right arm Nursery have apparently dealth with the situation in the correct manner, but for dd2, that must have really hurt and for the nursery staff to have had to physically pull the oik off her does not bode well although apparently they did turn a blind eye when she hit him later in the day I reckon she should have got her big sister round from Pre School and feeling vindictive mum.

Frizombie · 12/10/2007 22:49

Oh nite CSWS

flamefool · 13/10/2007 09:29

Aww Friz

UniSarah · 13/10/2007 11:20

poor old dd2 friz, good for her that she thumped him tho. just hope it doesn;'t esculate. Boy threw lego at another mums head yesterday in teh libraray.giggled at me when i held him and ticked him off, little horror. They do seem to have momenets when they jsut don;t recoginise that other people are humans too and hurt when you do things to them.
Sick bug sound horrid, take it as easy as you can and go gentle with teh food.

CantSleepWontSleep · 13/10/2007 19:36

for dd2 Friz - hope she's forgotten all about it today.

Can I rant about dh (again) please. He knew I wanted us to be in bed by 11 last night, so at 10:50 we were going upstairs, and he said he'd just have a wee first in the downstairs toilet. At 11:50 I gave up waiting for him and went to sleep (so he'd cost me an hour's sleep by then already). He came to bed at 1:50 . Apparently he got reading a book and hadn't realised he'd been very long. How can you not tell the difference between the 10 seconds it takes to have a wee and the 3 hours that he was?

CantSleepWontSleep · 13/10/2007 19:41

Oh, and forgot to say that dd has been overtired most of today, so she's spent most of the day screaming at us, apart from the time that she spent cavorting around Waitrose with one or other of us chasing after her. All in all has been a fairly hideous day. DD has gone to bed half an hour early though, so peace at last.

DH is going to watch the rugby tonight, so I'm going to sit here bored out of my mind and wondering why there isn't more to life than this at the moment.

Jas · 13/10/2007 19:45

Oh csws, I was only checking in, I wanted to tidy up before I post properly, but couldn't leave you all alone. Have a ((hug)) from me and I'll be back later.

CantSleepWontSleep · 13/10/2007 19:59

Thanks Jas . I'm going to have some dessert in a min. DD was too tired for us to have it straight after dinner. That will be a highlight of the night for me .

mustrunmore · 13/10/2007 19:59

Ah, csws, I do empathise with you. But it is quite funny too, how he either really didnt notice, or thought that you'd believe that excuse

Went to our cowboy themed party today, all dressed up.
ds2 chucked an apple at me his morning and nearly blinded me. He's a good aim.

Cold tonight, so got out the fleece sleepsuits; new one for ds2, as his 12-18's were too small when the weather picked up and he went into cotton pjs. Put him in his 18-24s... too small

UniSarah · 13/10/2007 20:12

CSWS, would you like to go through my club accounts for me this evening while your bored :-) I've lost about 22 quid somewhere along the line.... Its got better, earlier I thought it was 250 quid, but I found most of it in .
Just lined up a play date for tomorrow, hurrah, boys best friend is back from holiday.
I'd forgoten about the rugby, maybe I sshould go see if thats what dh is getting up to.

flamefool · 13/10/2007 20:13

18-24 fit over cloth nappies nice

Pink girl's 3-4 are very roomy apparently (He threw a hissy fit to wear it!!!)

CSWS

@ MrFriz - DH does that (genuinely)

mustrunmore · 13/10/2007 20:15

Well, he'd like these then.. red ansd yellow winnie the pooh

Flamesparrow · 13/10/2007 20:18

lol manliness abounds

We're going to be needing a new title soon (or I need new internet...)

CantSleepWontSleep · 13/10/2007 20:18

What kind of club Sarah? I might be tempted . And you still haven't told me where in Devon?

Had to lol at the very dry 'he's a good aim' .

Right, I really am going to get dessert now.

Flamesparrow · 13/10/2007 20:20

Missed the near blinding! (Excitement at swiping sleepsuits )

OP posts:
CantSleepWontSleep · 13/10/2007 20:25

Mmmmmmmm mmmmmmmmmm.

mustrunmore · 13/10/2007 20:27

Actually, I think there may be a few things coming your way Flame, as I feel a clear out coming on. csws; remeber the photos Hub took of the boys for me? Doesnt seem sdoooo long ago, but ds2 is now wearing the trousers and coat that ds1 wore in those pics

Jas · 13/10/2007 20:27

DD2 Frizbe. I hope she's ok today.

There is no keeping things to yourself on this thread, Sarah. You may as well just tell us everything now

I've only eaten toast all day, but feel properly better now and want to eat real food. The problem is, I've been so rough I've not bought anything for me for days, so I have no veg and not much of anything else nice in the house. I'm going to have to raid hte kitchen for something though.

Oh and at needing id Phoenix.

mustrunmore · 13/10/2007 20:41

Just called my Mum, and her friend answered. Mum has had stomach pains since lunchtime, and they're waiting for the doctor

Jas · 13/10/2007 20:43

I hope she's alright, mrm.
