pmsl at flame's phone and mrm's searching through the rubbish for freebies!

Thanks for the (belated ) sympathy.

Lewis does indeed look really grown up in those photos Phoenix. How did the day go? Did he charge about like a mad thing in church?

Did I mention that we've got builders coming tomorrow? We're having the tiny utility room extended so that it comes out to the same point as the living room and conservatory. It means that we'll lose the glass on the side wall of the conservatory, and one of the little windows in the living room, but hopefully should look ok. We won't be having a door to outside from it any more either, so that we can put another conservatory all the way across the back (well, across living room and utility) at some future point.

CountessPHOENIXula · 07/10/2007 21:16

No csws he didn't we took a bag of yogurt raisins with us so he kept still. He wasn't particularly quiet though. It was too full to let him run around anyway there were 6 babies been baptised. It was a very quick service though we were only in the church half an hour.

mustrunmore · 07/10/2007 21:19

Has your utility room got a door to outside? Have I read that ringht? I dont remember one.

Flamesparrow · 07/10/2007 21:24

I thoguht that too MRM!

OP posts:
CantSleepWontSleep · 07/10/2007 21:32

lol. Yes it does, but we don't use it, because we have the patio doors on the living room and the conservatory as well.

mustrunmore · 07/10/2007 21:47

Thats how much attention we paid then

Frizombie · 07/10/2007 21:56

CSWS nice! hope they show up on time I know what these builders are like!

at the phone Flame

Jas for bookmarking the site

Phoenix he's so grown up! hope to have some photos of dd2 and 1 in costume from their party today, which I'll load onto facebook when I get them, as I can load to that, but not to mumsnet from my pc for some reason???? duh?

MRM for your freecycle stuff, no one does it round here......

Can't believe its monday already nearly...so much to do! heads in a spin, even though I have my to do tomorrow list, keep thinking it'll all be sorted in a week, shop will be open

CantSleepWontSleep · 07/10/2007 22:20

I won't actually be here when they turn up Friz - they are just going to get on with stuff outside (also fixing some leaky guttering). They have been doing stuff for FIL for donkey's, and have done odd bits for us before (including putting in the current door to the utility ) so should be able to trust them.

Flamesparrow · 07/10/2007 22:28

pmsl - read that as "Work for FIL's donkeys" and thought "Oooooh, MrCSWS's dad has donkeys?!"

Off to work now actually this might take some getting used to again, having to get myself out of the door!

mustrunmore · 08/10/2007 08:59

Arghhh! I need sleep! And lots to do today.
I dont understand the donkey bit...???

CountessPHOENIXula · 08/10/2007 09:00

I've got a snotty, whingey baby

damewashalot · 08/10/2007 11:24

Hello, missed loads of stuff way too much to catch up on all that has stuck from whizzing through is need to send hugs to Flame re Grandad and Schools look lovely, agree that should send to one you really want not just closest if you are paying.

So.........

Decided that really should be sensible and stop at 3, did it anyway as both want another one even if not the most practical thing in the world
Then decided to be sensible and not do it again Currently on day 35 of 24day ish cycle have been irregular of late but.... I'm going to have to do a test aren't I?

CountessPHOENIXula · 08/10/2007 11:27

Yes go test now

Hello how r u? I'm very bored ds has been asleep 2 hours (very unlike him) and is still asleep and i want to go out.

damewashalot · 08/10/2007 11:42

I have a tired snotty little boy, not been too happy working on canines got 1 so far.

I'm kind of putting off testing as have been feeling crampy so keep thinking period going to arrive but think will do one soon, can pretend not if I don't knowfor sure
4 kids I must be mad! Had a cuddle with a 6 wk old yesterday everyone was saying don't you get broody

Jas · 08/10/2007 11:44

Go and test now

Phoenix.- that is why ds always sleeps in the buggy

Donekys....csws meant donkeys years/ a long time, but when reading it quickly it looks like the builder was working with donkeys.

FIL is coming over today.
I've run out of milk so I'moff to the shops (with sleeping Boy)

I had a physio appointment today for my back.....at 11.15. I've just run to find out what time it should be I'm going to give up andcarry on as I am. It isn't too bad at the moment, although it does stop me sleeping still.

damewashalot · 08/10/2007 11:55

Hmm was thinking of ordering one on ebay but postal strike on and DH says somethings just don't seem right coming from ebay also he doesn't want to wait that long.

Will get one if I go out later or send DH.

CantSleepWontSleep · 08/10/2007 12:39

OMG dame . There's no 'if' you go out about it - go out now and get one. We have to know right away even if you don't!

Jas - your back won't get better if you ignore it. Ring them back and make another appointment.

Hope you've had a good day at work () Friz!

Well after TumbleTots we went to see a childminder (one I know from a toddler group), and from tomorrow, dd is going to her for one afternoon a week, just to give me a bit of a break. Am going to try and find a gym that I can use without being a member, and make a bit of effort to get fitter, as well as having time for soaks in the bath, and inevitably a bit more housework. She'll be going 1:30-5:30, and we're going to see if she can manage without a sleep, as it wouldn't fit in very well/she'll be difficult to settle somewhere strange.

Ghoulie55 · 08/10/2007 12:44

Test! Test! Test!

Jas · 08/10/2007 12:54

I don't think my back will get better anyway csws. Hospital dr basically told me to get used to it about 5 years ago. I will try again if it gets really bad.

Go and get that test, Dame. Now!
