Don't panic, DH is going to get me one

Flamesparrow · 08/10/2007 13:51

Gonna read in a min, but need to do a confession first - the delivery arrived today (not next day, but still...)... discovered why it cost so much I am now the proud owner of SIX small right hand wrist supports

Ebay here I come!

Oooh TEST

for back

Yay for childminder (although sniggering slightly at your mad idea that you might go to the gym or do housework )

OP posts:
Jas · 08/10/2007 13:59

@ wrist supports

I think childminder is a great idea. Can't justify the expense here, but it would be nice to be able to soak inthe bath.

mustrunmore · 08/10/2007 14:08

Nah, its not right to have a bath in daytime Grown ups can only bath between 7pm and 9pm. Agreeing with flame's disbelief though

Still wondering whether to put ds2 in nursery 2 mornings whwn he gets to 2.5, so he gets the same deal as ds1 , mainly as a practice for real nursery. But I just cant justify that expense, when I hacvent got a third one to look after (d1 also went because I needed some ds2 time). Its £15 for 9.15 to 12.15.But realistically, I'd gt there 9.30 after dropping ds1... if he gets a reception place at his school

Jas · 08/10/2007 14:37

I'd never get a bath if I stuck to those times mrm

Flamesparrow · 08/10/2007 14:40

I'd only get one about once a week if I did those times too

OP posts:
Ghoulie55 · 08/10/2007 15:22

Funnily enough I have just got out of the bath and I very rarely get one during the day! Just thought I'd make the most of 'me' time before nanna gets back and needed to soak my achey bones after a heavy gym workout yesterday!

Come on Dame, I haven't got long on here!

damewashalot · 08/10/2007 17:08

He's getting one but won't be home until boys bedtime then we need to eat and decide if i should do first thing tomorrow so don't hold your breath

Also I can hardly say hang on a minute while I pop and tell a load of women I've never met the result think he'd really think I'd lost the plot as we certainly wouldn't be telling real life people for some time.

CountessPHOENIXula · 08/10/2007 17:55

Jas - he does sleep in the buggy but i don't do walking

Dame - we'll all be hanging on for the result

Flame - for the wrist supports. Will you make a profit on them on Ebay.

I normally always have a bath on a morning cos my hair is so crap that if i wash it on a night its starting to look greasy by lunchtime the next day, so if i wash it on a morning it will last all day iykwim.

After his 2.5 hour nap ds woke up in such a good mood . We went to KFC for lunch and ds ate 2 corn cobs (well 2 halfs so 1 really) and then went to my mums for the rest of the afternoon.

CantSleepWontSleep · 08/10/2007 18:50

What still no result?!

Did ds eat chicken too Phoenix, or was the corn his whole lunch?

at 6 supports!

Flamesparrow · 08/10/2007 19:08

Should make a profit, or at least pay for my own and the postage!

DS has gone up without a bottle. He is not amused.

OP posts:
CountessPHOENIXula · 08/10/2007 19:20

He had some bits of popcorn chicken and most of the top bread off my fillet burger which made it very difficult to eat. He doesn't like chips.

Yay for making profit (tell us when they're on and we could bid on them to push the price up )

Jas · 08/10/2007 21:41

Why no bottle Flame?

Phoenix. I spent the week of dd2s birthday trailing all over in the car, and it was alot harder work than walking because of all the putting ds in and out of his car seat.

Flamesparrow · 08/10/2007 21:43

Tryin to wean him off it a bit - it was hell where we left it so late with DD.

We gave him it in the end, he was kicking hell out of the cot, he'll losen the screws soon and the whole side'll fall off

OP posts:
Frizombie · 08/10/2007 21:44

Dame, oooohhhhhhhh can't wait twinny although I shan't/shouldn't be joining you this time!!

Flame at you, what r u like!

CSWS it was rather odd, but kinda nice being back at work...I think finished fitting the plastic bits into the slat wall, and cleaned it all down, hoovered floor, unpacked the phone and put onto charge,as apparently it needs 24hrs unpacked and fired up the stereo and brought a door mat and material for the window displays, along with lots of back at home phone orders, chasing things for delivery etc, all coming together, will be one hell of a mad final push though, particularly as I have the kids wed, and dh is working sat and sun, so I have them then also, so that's 3 days to get ready for opening and hardly any stock in shop yet, and nothign being delivered to put it on until tomorrow!! ahem......

Oopse sorry for the essay.......I'm exicited

Phoenix, hope ds is feeling less grumpy today.

MRM I bath in the afternoon, mainly at weekends, usually with a dd in tow

Frizombie · 08/10/2007 21:47

Jas {{{{Hugs}}} re back, is osteopath any good? have you been?

SquirBOOdle · 08/10/2007 22:11

{{hijack alert }}} Flame, you still coming to play tomorrow????

Flamesparrow · 08/10/2007 22:32

Yup - nappy woman stopping by just after I arrive, grabbing nappies and running away to get back in time for school! Gonna try and lost DD too

OP posts:
SquirBOOdle · 08/10/2007 22:55

Yay!! (not for the losting of DD obv, but for the seeing you!)

Flamesparrow · 08/10/2007 23:04

I dunno - you've met DD

OP posts:
SquirBOOdle · 08/10/2007 23:10

Aw she's lovely Well she always has been here!

I shall be locking away me valuables, I've heard about your son and his cupboard fetish

SquirBOOdle · 08/10/2007 23:10

Mind you, D not much better, they will have fun together

Flamesparrow · 08/10/2007 23:16

My son has a cupboard fetish?? he likes climbing them... (What did he do where? )

OP posts:
SquirBOOdle · 08/10/2007 23:18

Maybe it wasn't yours then I shall apologise for falsely accusing him of cupboard fetishes tomorrow (and provide copious amounts of treats for him )
