Hi Macca hope the studying's going well

Flamesparrow · 06/10/2007 22:24

Told my mum about the gaffer tape, and she said ouch too - so its not just me that assumed you stuck it straight on!

OP posts:
CountessPHOENIXula · 06/10/2007 22:26

Well i never thought about the cling film either and when i told dh earlier he said 'that'll hurt taking it off' so you're def not alone Flame

Ghoulie55 · 06/10/2007 22:52

Are you actually being serious about the gaffer tape and clingfilm - I thought you were taking the piss!!

CSWS, sometimes your posts make me , I love the fact that you can't stand a 30k car, most of us can only dream about test driving one!!

I'm a 36F MRM so just missing out on your bras

Jas · 07/10/2007 07:08

I think she was serious about the gaffer tape/cling film So not necessary imo. You really do look great mrm. It is a shame you don't see what we all do.
Did you have a good night?

On the rare occasions I've take ds into a chuch, food has helped to reduce th chaos, but they all say they dont mind him being noisy/running around (I do think they would have minded if he had manged to unplug the pa system though)

I pay by cheque after you mentioned pay pal fees in passing. I'm sure I'm not the only one, but it really didn't occur to me that it would cost you.

lol at your horid temp car csws. I hope you get yours back in working order. We've got the jag because I told DP to get a car with a/c after we drove to Switzerland in the old mazda with windows only, and he bought it at auction.
I still want rid of it, but as usual he isn't doing anything about it, and tbh no one wants to buy a car that expensive to run and in rubbish condition any way.

DP took the dds to a fair yesterday.
The first ride they went on turned them upside down[shock ] and dd1 refused to go on anything else except the tea cups. DD2 has no fear and went on everything on her own, but dp has got to take her back today so she can go on the rides she has to have an adult with her for. I sometimes wonder if she really is related to me

mustrunmore · 07/10/2007 09:50

I paid you by paypal because i'm too idle to get the chequebook out Sorry!

THe tape didnt work anyway, as it happens We should've had a trial run. So had to go witgout and look pg the whle night. On the plus side.... I won the raffle... twice!!!! Set of cutlery , but then a meal out for two, and wine, in a really posh place up the road Dh is really excited, although we cant do it till my Mum comes, and then pray the boys go to slee pefore we go, as she cant handle both of them. There's somw debate over whether I should take obe of the 2 friends I went with last night instead(long tale), but I just really fancy having a dh night, which is most ununsual

Chloe, shall I send you the bras anyway on the offchance? Or are you certain they wouldnt fit?

BTW Jas, the £33.63 lasts me a week, but thats because we do a once a month delivery order too, which dh pays for, and is usually £100 ish, with £25 of that being dh's food for work/wine! Although I hate Tescos so much now, I really want to boycott them! So, the £33 or whatever is for perishables, bits and bobs, things that were out of stock on the order and that I prefer to get elsewhere.Plus any expenditure for the boys; clothes, drinks out, soft play if we do it that week etc.

CastsSpellsWitchySpells · 07/10/2007 10:29

YOU DO NOT LOOK PREGNANT ONE TINY BIT!

Please don't boycott Tesco - I have shares in them .

Can I have sympathy for a burn please? Scalded wrist last night on very hot water/tap, spent all evening with a bag of ice on it, and couldn't put it in the bath just now (got a nice soak because dh has taken dd to the park for a bit ).

CastsSpellsWitchySpells · 07/10/2007 10:48

Chloe - what are the chances of you fitting into a 34G bra (maybe with an extender if the back is too small)? I have a couple of R&P ones, and a couple of others going in this size.

Flamesparrow · 07/10/2007 12:15

Mornin

The rudeness of name similar people Cantcopewontcope!

OP posts:
Ghoulie55 · 07/10/2007 12:54

I have actually checked the sizes of my bras and the majority are 34FF so a 34G might fit fine CSWS!, I really think the 36E will be too small MRM, I have recently binned a load of old ones.

CastsSpellsWitchySpells · 07/10/2007 12:55

I already commented to her about it on one thread, but she ignored my comment .

Ghoulie55 · 07/10/2007 12:55

OMG - I just noticed they are R&P - I have always dreamed of owning a bra form there - let me know what you want for them CSWS and I will def be interested!

CastsSpellsWitchySpells · 07/10/2007 12:56

Better email me your address then Chloe.

CastsSpellsWitchySpells · 07/10/2007 12:56

I don't want anything for them Chloe! They are no use to me!

Jas · 07/10/2007 13:08

I noticed her first post and wanted to say something but it was a depressed thread and thought it would be a bit insensitive.

CountessPHOENIXula · 07/10/2007 19:17

Lewis in his shirt

A bit smarter tucked in

We took the stair gate off this morning, no hang on i'm lying we didn't take it off, dh put it on so obviously it fell off cos he's so useless.

We've got 5 steps then a little landing bit then the rest of the stairs. To start with the gate was right at the bottom then the other week dh moved it up to the bottom of the main stairs and Lewis hasn't attempted to go up the 1st 5 at all even though he can so for now we're gonna leave the gate off and see what happens.

If it goes ok that gate can go outside his bedroom cos he can open his door and i don't want him going head first down the stairs.

Has everyone had a nice day?

Flamesparrow · 07/10/2007 19:55

Is he the same age as DS?!!?

OP posts:
Jas · 07/10/2007 20:09

He looks so grown up.
I'm never going to cut ds' hair. If I did he would look 4 I think.

mustrunmore · 07/10/2007 20:14

He's a real handsome, phoenix! flame, he does look older than ours, but he's got more hair. And speaking for my own child, he's much scruffier which makes him look younger

We took our downstairs gate off yesterday. Its olnly there for the bathroom really, not the stairs being a problem. We've gone back ot the plan of a sandwich bag stretcehed across the bath taps so they can be turned on, and so far he's left the toilet alone. I'm never taking the top gate off. Dont need to really, as its a roller one anyway. (Nice profit coming up BTW; another kiddiguard bought from car boot for £2, need new hooks which are £11, but the gates go for a minimum of £30 on ebay)

Lots of sympathy and there-there-pats for you csws. Ouch. And lots of 's for the imposter person!

I got a fantastic mirror from the freecycle stall at the farmers market today(did take some stuff up there too,so didint feel too bad). its gone above the mantlepiece (very grown up, I thought!). Atr deco style, certainly very old so lots of nice cg=haractewr. Dh is hoping its haunted

Got £35 refund from Tescos about the washing machine. Havent boycotted them yet csws, so your ahares will be vastly enhanced by the millions I spend with them . But I was peed off again today; did the 40 min trek by bus with all my plastic bottles(rucksack and 2 blue ikea bags), but the machine wasnt working, so had to leave them by the side, without getting my clubcard points Couldn't face bringing them home, esp as I needed the bag to put stuff in!! Did find a nice shoulder bag in the pile though, which someone had left full of plastic bags for the recyclinf, so I had that

Flamesparrow · 07/10/2007 20:20

Missed your injury

My DS is always never scruffy

OP posts:
Jas · 07/10/2007 20:22

Lots of belated sympathy here too csws.

mustrunmore · 07/10/2007 20:23

How's your phone Flame? I've got my old nokia here you can have(at the risk of sounding like csws, its in the toy box as a spare to play with!!). Its nothing special, except a very nice Little Miss Naughty case , but not even a colour screen or anything. Actually, not sure i f its unlocked ato all netwrrks either. But if it'd work for you, it'd tide you over.

Flamesparrow · 07/10/2007 20:33

I was planning on not coming clean about my phone...

Turns out that the battery had died
