Not read any of your posts but I had to take a look

Hello everyone.

CastsSpellsWitchySpells · 04/10/2007 21:13

Hello. Where have you been?

2boysmacca · 04/10/2007 21:15

broadband down for a few days, then holiday for a week then busy with rl. Course started, kids not sleeping etc etc.

Jas · 04/10/2007 21:16

Ooh, hello I was wondering where you'd gone.

2boysmacca · 04/10/2007 21:18

I'm going to disappear again, I'm shattered.

CastsSpellsWitchySpells · 04/10/2007 21:25

No stamina .

Jas · 04/10/2007 21:30

I'm going to get my wine.....

mustrunmore · 04/10/2007 22:17

I'm hre but off to bed now. Thanks Flame, I love you

Frizombie · 05/10/2007 00:22

Hi Macca, hope course is going good?

CSWS you didn't mention that, but I must say how fabulously slim MRM was looking when we met at yours, never mind how much more weight she's lost now thou does not need Gaffer tape my lass!

Where Chloe?

Flame, no I resisted the boots and couldn't afford anymore anyway, got 4 pairs of trews for the lass, 1 x hoodie and 1 x top and those socks, plus her boots = no more child benifit left for the month thank Gaw'd dd2 is in hand me downs!

Been to lovely dinner party, feeling a little tipsy and very full, may I say Meridian's chocolate cheese cake is wonderful, for those of you who peruse the Mumsnet WI threads and may have encountered her work before!

Frizombie · 05/10/2007 00:24

Oh Jas, thanks for that btw, nice to know dd2 is more advanced than dd1

Jas · 05/10/2007 08:00

Who wants stripy socks?
I have red/black knee length, and rainbow over the knee (shop had no black/white left when mum went)

The dds are playing with the garage mum brought over for ds yesterday Free because the charity shop were going to throw it away as it had a crack in it!

Flamesparrow · 05/10/2007 08:01

I was brave and didn't look at the clothes in there. I did buy 2 pairs of boots though - she is about a 9-9 1/2 now, and they had a 9.5 or a 10.5... for £5.99 a pair it made more sense to buy em both and she can grow into the other ones! (I expected to pay about £10 anyway)

MRM

Someone told me the other day that they were offended at being called a bint It was clearly meant as a term of affection

Flamesparrow · 05/10/2007 08:02

Me me me me - I'll have whichever MRM doesn't want

mustrunmore · 05/10/2007 08:05

Well, we have progress today..... w/m due, and hte courier HAS ACTUALLY PHONED to say it'll be between 11 and 1!! So ggod joib my friend is coimmg to housesit, as I guarantee it'll come at 12.30 when I take ds1 to nursery...

mustrunmore · 05/10/2007 08:07

BTW, I think its cute when you call me a bint Used to be a very horrible word when I was at school though!

Flamesparrow · 05/10/2007 08:18

Hurrah for washing machine!

Bint all depends on the way it is said, I clearly say it in a loving kind of way but she reeeeeeeeeeeeally took offence. The same was MNers do if you call em Hun

OP posts:
Flamesparrow · 05/10/2007 08:28

Oh over the knee was fine btw - I wanted the red and black

OP posts:
Jas · 05/10/2007 08:32

That was easy. I'll post them

mustrunmore · 05/10/2007 08:38

Call me hun and i'll delete you from my email list and my mobile

CastsSpellsWitchySpells · 05/10/2007 08:50

Chill out hun.

Frizombie · 05/10/2007 08:53

am getting tempted to say I'd like some socks too, now that its gone all cold if you get any more red n black please in fact if they're only a £1 a shot, might be worth me sticking em in the shop and charging more gotta feed the kids right!
Oh mind you Brenda on the sock stall on our market would kill me.....I used to have a stall next to her, so best not nick her trade.....

I use bint in a nice way too, so it was just them Flame.

MRM yay for WM! fingers x'd they do as they've said.

Frizombie · 05/10/2007 08:58

www.startriteshoes.com/footwear/girls/boots/sunshine.php dd1's new boots!

mustrunmore · 05/10/2007 09:29

i'd be happy waering alot of the little girls shoes/boots in the shops at the mo

Flamesparrow · 05/10/2007 10:41

Love the boots

I am officially broken. I have dodgy wrists (probably carpal tunnel but the doctor I saw last time was useless). The right one has been playing up for a few days, but I didn't have a support for that one - ordered one, should arrive today (paid for courier). It is at the hurting constantly stage, so pretty useless until the support comes, but even when it does it is then very limited movement (splint).

So today - the left one kicks off too! I am going to have to alternate which hand has a support otherwise life is going to be the equivalent of 2 arms in plaster!!!

I hurt.

Ooh gotta tell you this - was flickin through a catalogue yesterday and saw a shirt that I thought "Oooh I like, could get it for DH"

I then looked up and spotted DS's black stripey ones... it was exactly the same shirt in grown up size

DH was not amused
