Nah, just running a bath.

Like the ad for the university of Phoenix?! Right next to the postings!

Frizombie · 03/10/2007 20:33

Nice boots CSWS gona look at John Lewis for dd1 tomorrow, brave the ex kinda mil!
Hope your dd is feeling ok by now? think my dh wouldn have noticed sick, he'd have coming running, yelling for me to do something about it

MRM are you all feeling better yet?

Flame, how you doing? any idea on funeral yet?

Neighbour here got taken away in Ambulance this am, hoping she's ok? hoping she's not had another stroke don't really want to be nosey and go and ask her husband, will wait and see if I see him tomorrow am, as I usually do....

mustrunmore · 03/10/2007 20:37

Hello you! I'm fine thanks, dh feeling ok but feeble apparently . Friends little boy has it too as do/have done several neighbours. Going to have a soak in the bath now

Jas; do you want me to keep the canopy for dd2 then?

csws; take it you didnt get htruogh to anorak?

Jas · 03/10/2007 20:49

mrm- yes please if you think it will fit on a top bunk bed. Otherwise Flame can have it.

3 pairs of boots to chose from is alot Phoenix. DD1 got her first pair 9choice of one) at 6.

I think dp would notice sick, but because his sense of smell is good, rather than seeing it.

I got my lovely new nappies today, bu haven't been able to try them properly. He pooed in the first one after 1/2 hour and his nappy rash is so bad that when he wees it stings and hurts so after one wee I had to take the other one off and put him in a disp

DP finished work early and came home and did more work without being prompted today

mustrunmore · 03/10/2007 21:09

Yep, it will It dangles, and then the mesh is huge!

CastsSpellsWitchySpells · 03/10/2007 21:37

I didn't hear back from her mrm - sorry!

I got more choice than I expected with the boots. On their website it says that all the 'age 2-4' ones start at a size 7, and dd is only 5.5, but there were 2 or 3 from that range that were in store in smaller sizes.

for rash Jas.

Flamesparrow · 04/10/2007 07:49

dry nappy last night - and we're not talking DD!

Shock
Frizombie · 04/10/2007 18:48

wow really Flame, let us know if it happens again tonight! mind you think dd2 will beat dd1 to it here, she's already got less in her nappy in am

Been into town today and both girls well behaved got half of H&M for dd1, including wicked pirate knee high socks, pink skull n crossbones and funky pirate top too then we also have startrite 10f boots her last measurement 4 weeks ago was a 9H in clarkes, she's gone to a 9.5G since then and is 10F in Startrite.....expensive little lady! nice boots though, black suede and leather combo, with purple and black flowers will try and find link somewhere?!

Off out to dinner with the girls tonight, we're doing it at the person with the largest houses gaff and each taking a bit, I'm on bread rolls and mints for coffee hurrah, no major cooking! Win!

Flamesparrow · 04/10/2007 19:58

Did you get the pink skull boots in H&M too??? They are FABULOUS!! I bought DD a black skirt n stripey leggings, I need to go and buy her oodles more different colour stripeys now

I spent alomst half an hour in claire's accessories today looking for stuff for my 70's night. But as I'm wearing a cerise dress, I couldn't find anything that I'd actually wear again!(did I mention that dh has agreed to wrap me in gaffer tape to hold the belly in? Other than that area, I fit back inot the dress and am quite chuffed, but I still look pg, eps in this dress )

CountessPHOENIXula · 04/10/2007 20:10

at dry night Flame.

for pirate clothes Friz.

pmsl re gaffer tape mrm. There's no tape strong enough to hold me in

We've done soft play with some lovely mumsnetters this morning and shopping this afternoon. Got Lewis some 18-24 month pj's and vests. He's beginning to grow out of his 12-18 month stuff now.

mustrunmore · 04/10/2007 20:12

ds2 is nearly out of 18-24!!!!!

Flamesparrow · 04/10/2007 20:29

DS was in rolled up 9-12 stuff today and yesterday

OP posts:
Jas · 04/10/2007 20:31

ds is almost out of his 18-24 stuff too mrm

Frizbe - dd2 was dry at night before dd1 so it can happen

The gaffer tape image is a good one. How will you sit down?

Jas · 04/10/2007 20:32

And dd1 was in 2-3 years and weighed 31lb at 18 months (I found her red book today.)

mustrunmore · 04/10/2007 20:34

Its only going from hips up, so I should be able to sit! Lodger's advice, based on experience, was to not breathe in too much when putting it on, as you always do, and cant breathe back out

But Flame, he looked much stockier last time I saw him.

CastsSpellsWitchySpells · 04/10/2007 20:35

Did I mention how gorgeously thin and very definitely not pregnant mrm was looking when I saw her this week?

DD has been in a mix of 18-24 and 2-3 for ages!

mustrunmore · 04/10/2007 20:38

Thanks csws. Er, remember that it was just after the worst bout of illness ever though A diet of nothing does wonders, in the short term.I feel like a right bloater again already

mustrunmore · 04/10/2007 20:40

Hey Flame, that buggy thread is great!!

Flamesparrow · 04/10/2007 20:47

He has rugby player shoulders, and he is quite solid all over - just a short arse

You do NOT look pregnant MRM you daft bint

OP posts:
Flamesparrow · 04/10/2007 20:47

The buggy thread is great isn't it?

OP posts:
CountessPHOENIXula · 04/10/2007 20:49

Lewis has always been on the 91st or 98th centile and in bigger size clothes than his age but when he was weighed the other day he has dropped to just above the 75th so he seems to be averaging out.

CastsSpellsWitchySpells · 04/10/2007 21:01

Had to go find which buggy thread you were on about.

Jas · 04/10/2007 21:03

[grn] me too.
