Probably not

Poor dd sorry.
Er, dh wouldn't notice, no. I know from experience.
Only asking because Anorak was flogging a toddler bed and some fabrics/stuffing, which I'd have had if she could leave them with you till I see you.I assumed she's closer to you than me, but what do I know about geography by car?!! The bed was for my friend(well, her son!), but uopn consultation she only wants a toddler bed if it was free anyway, else he'll go straight into a full size single to save money.

mustrunmore · 03/10/2007 13:45

BTw, are you a watcher on my climbing thing as threatened? Am getting excited about having 10!

CastsSpellsWitchySpells · 03/10/2007 13:45

Ah right. I think she's prob a bit nearer to you than me actually.

CastsSpellsWitchySpells · 03/10/2007 13:46

Ooh no - forgot to do that, so they must all be genuine/other people with ones to sell who want to see how much they go for.

mustrunmore · 03/10/2007 13:47

Have you got her mobile number? Could you text and ask if she did take it to the tip as threatened? She was asking £20, but if she's scrapping it, I'll offer her a tenner if I cn finsd someone to get it for me, and it can be a xmas pressie for said child!!

CastsSpellsWitchySpells · 03/10/2007 13:49

Yes, will text her now for you.
You should have 11 watchers now!

mustrunmore · 03/10/2007 13:51

Yeah, just noticed that

CastsSpellsWitchySpells · 03/10/2007 13:55

Right - you like a shopping challenge. Find me the nicest possible coat for dd for this winter. Budget negotiable, but must be washable. Ideally a chocolate brown duffle, but I doubt you'll find a nice one in 18/24 months, as I've been looking for a while. Want to get one NOW! I think the current leader is this.

mustrunmore · 03/10/2007 13:56

Well, you've found one then

mustrunmore · 03/10/2007 13:57

here's one, but not necesarily better than the other one! I'll keep looking...

CastsSpellsWitchySpells · 03/10/2007 13:57

or this. Both are nice, but neither are perfect. Was hoping that you could achieve perfection!

CastsSpellsWitchySpells · 03/10/2007 13:59

Hmmmm, that one's a bit, err, polyester for my liking.

mustrunmore · 03/10/2007 14:05

I know

this is lovely but not very practical for winter! They've alos got a lovely parka, but its khaki not brown.

mustrunmore · 03/10/2007 14:10

more practical

CastsSpellsWitchySpells · 03/10/2007 14:16

Yes Boden have a lovely velvet one too, but I am trying to be vaguely practical, or else I'll end up buying her multiple coats for all occasions! I quite like the VB parka actually, but it's very similar to the too large one that I've just got her, so would be nice to have something a bit different. DH is favouring the JoJo duffle at the moment, as am I I think.

mustrunmore · 03/10/2007 14:17

But you know that ultimately she's just gonig to roll around in puddles and trash it, dont you??!

mustrunmore · 03/10/2007 14:21

just get this!! its waterproof and you can fit lots of thick jumpers under it!! And you wont lose sight of her if she runs off...

mustrunmore · 03/10/2007 14:24

Actually, this is really nice, and a far superior colour to brown

CastsSpellsWitchySpells · 03/10/2007 14:31

lol You'll be pleased to know that I bought her some purple trousers this week .
DD actually has a vivid pink waterproof with white spots which is even more noticeable than your suggestion. She is easy to spot in it, but one of my best friends bought the same coat for her dd, so there were these 2 vividly matching toddlers charging about at the zoo over the summer .

mustrunmore · 03/10/2007 14:33

Good. Every girl should grow up purple. Right, I'm off to pack a bag ; we're gonig to the woods after nursery!!

CastsSpellsWitchySpells · 03/10/2007 19:15

How were the woods?
Dd now has a new coat. It doesn't look terribly nice here, but I can assure you it's much nicer in the flesh, and it's purple (not a scuzzy grey like it looks in the pic)!!
She also has new boots. Can't link directly on Clarks site, but if you go into kids, girls shoes, age 2-4, boots, it's on the second page, called 'Mince Pie Pre'.

mustrunmore · 03/10/2007 19:18

Ah! I looked at that one! didnt Ilink to it? Or was that when the pc ddedecided to go mad, anddo its usual thing of shutting down when you click on a link

CastsSpellsWitchySpells · 03/10/2007 19:20

Yeah yeah, course you did .

CountessPHOENIXula · 03/10/2007 20:07

Love those boots csws. Clarks have a massive 3 pairs of boots for 2-4 yr boys one of which i got ds on Sunday (the brown ones if anyone looks).

Is anyone watching the little brat on Supernanny?
