Hello everyone!
Welcome M23boys!

Taffy - I must confess I tend to leave the creaming to Daddy now as he is better at wrestling the octopus!!

Glad everyone else is doing well - I am still finding it hard to keep up with this thread and all the new mums and babies.

We are very happy here - Kirsten started properly crawling really well yesterday. It has been a long time coming but I feel more confident she will stand up and walk soon!

I don't know how I will manage, she started at my friends house, was crawling around everywhere getting into everything she shouldn't - she is so inquisitive!!!

taffy101 · 10/11/2007 21:47

here's a quick birthday montage didn't seem to get much time for taking pics with house full of little screaming people!

taffy101 · 10/11/2007 22:08

grrr trying again - i did the link to my preview (and emailed it to everyone too - duh) which will NOT work
try here

babyducky · 10/11/2007 22:41

gingeme · 11/11/2007 09:30

Taffy a lovely blonde boy. Chocolate cake yummy! Looks like he had a realy good day.

Rumpel · 11/11/2007 15:44

Hi All,

Sorry mum23boyz I forgot to say hi the other day.

I am such a doughball - I am not due my AF until next weekend. I am all confused at the moment, I did 2 early pg tests but of course they were negative, just checked calender today. Plonker. Oh well I will have to sit tight a bit longer. I have been getting a crampy tum today and thought I must be about to come on but must be my IBs instead!

TAFFY - your LO is gorgeous - he's got big, sad eyes - like Paul McCartney. He'll break a few hearst when he is older no doubt.

Hope you all had a good weekend.

Good morning ladies how are you all on this cold and dreary November morning?
I had a terrible night with lo He woke screaming about 9pm and continued till 11.35 when dh finaly got him to sleep. He had trapped wind and there wasnt alot we could do about it! Rang NHS Direct at one point. Theyre about as useful as my 3 year old He woke at 3am again but thankfuly didnt take long to settle that time. Just checked on him and hes fast asleep still phew!
Apart from that all is well here. dh on the mend after his op. He had a bit of an infection and has been signed off till the 22nd November then he goes back for a week then has the first two weeks of December off
Well got to get the washing out the machine now. Awomand work is never done.
Have a good day all xx

taffy101 · 13/11/2007 10:45

gosh you are organised ginge - my washing has only just gone in the machine!
weather v. dreary here too

Owen had his hib/men c jab today and is still asleep in his pushchair. HV asked would i talk to her post natal group about safety. Said i would so that people can learn from my mistake! If it stops it happening to one other person it will be worthwhile.

Still got fingers crossed for you rumpel
owen has got sad eyes i know - they really light up when he smiles though and he gets little dimples under his eyes. His sis is blonde haired and blue eyed too. Their daddy had white hair as a kiddie, so it is his genes they have.

babyducky · 13/11/2007 12:17

aw lovely pics taffy, i looked at your holiday montage aswell, hope you dont mind! Both your dcs are so gorgeous!

I've still gotta finish doing kai's bday montage.

hope your los ok now ginge, we had a bad night with kai aswell, just kept waking up crying & would only let daddy settle him!

the hv coming today for his 1 year check, & he has got his jab on 27th.

fingers crossed rumpel, xxx

samsmam · 13/11/2007 14:36

Hi all,
Hope your LO is better now Gingeme. I remember calling NHS direct when LO was about three weeks old and there was a 4 hour queue for a call back!

I am feeling very pregnant today- knackered is the word. I have asked my mum to have LO all day Sunday just to get a day to myself and spend it with DP who hasn't had a day off in 17 days.
I have a lot of respect for single parents.

LO had her MMR today and her Pneumoccal booster, thats it now until she is 3.5 years now apparently.

My fingers are crossed too Rumpel.

gingeme · 13/11/2007 15:34

Hi ladies. lo still not with it. We went Morrisons shopping which he usualy loves but he just whinged in a pitiful way all the way round with his nose running Hes in bed again now. If hes no better tommorrow Ill take him to the docs.
Know what you mean about feeling very pregnant samsam Im getting to the out of breath just getting out the car stage now. Cant wait for January to arrive now.
Los got his first lot of jabs next Tuesday. Hope hes better by then.

mum23boyz · 13/11/2007 21:32

Hi! Thanks for all the welcome wishes! I've not been on here in the past few days as all my boys have been sick including the LO. He would only nurse too -- just as I am trying to wean him as well. Any tips on that without making us both miserable? I would really like him to be done by Christmas. Help!

babyducky · 14/11/2007 13:48

afternoon all,

samsmam, hope your feeling ok today, have a nice day with your dp on sun.

We are leaving lo for the first time over night next weekend, He is staying with my mum, i feel sick with worry already, lol!
I know he will be fine it'll just feel so weird without him!

he now weighs 22lb 5oz, & he is 79cm tall, he's in the top 80% for height, dunno how as me & dp are both short!

mum23boyz- sorry i have no advice for you but hope you get it sorted,x

hows your lo today gingeme?

gingeme · 14/11/2007 15:54

Hi babyducky. Lo's much more himself today thank goodness. He slept better last night and has had breakfast today and some biscuits so his appetite is returning thank goodness. Thankyou for asking

babyducky · 14/11/2007 16:16

sweet pics on your page rumpel. owen looks a cutey too taffy.
feeling sad as a friend of ours has just died. we knew it was going to happen sometime in the next few months but feels horrible not having said goodbye, def thought i'd see him again before it happened. waiting for dh to get home to tell him..he's known him all his life and was a bit of a father figure so he's going to be really upset.
lo also been ill with teeth and cold. she woke 12xin night -aaagh!

gingeme · 14/11/2007 21:40

babyducky a beautiful handsome little fella. Looks like he did realy well for pressies. What a sweety.

Rumpel · 15/11/2007 15:42

Trrrrrrrrr! Drumroll.........
BFP

Due July 27th (but I reckon 24th and I was right with my date for Amber)

I am smiling now but if I get sick and feel like I did the first pg and with Amber I will be [barfemoticon] I would really like to actually enjoy this time but we'll see . Your positive vibes would be much appreciated to amke sure this pg goes well.

Colds have been doing the rounds - turns out it was hand, foot and mouth diease Amber had last week and now she is full of the cold. Had to rearrange her MMr until next Tuesday - same Ed Gingeme. Hope all your Los are feeling better now - Amber had been smiley and giggly all day - despite having had us up the past 3 nights!

Still not had my essay result back yet All the other classes have but our lecturer had been poorly - the anticipation (and fear) is awful.

Babyducky - he is delicious and I love the photo with the ducky!

Well must go and phone my Mum with the news....
