mhc...do you find you hold onto the extra weight while you are BFing? I must admit that since we hit the 4 month mark I've noticed the weight dropping quite quickly. Although I'm doing WW, I'm not doing it very well really, but I still seem to be losing weight.

Maybe by the time she's 5 I'll be back to 9 st 7!!!

Good idea.
New week, new resolution....
dH has to lose weight too so we are giving up wine for a bit. Plus I went shopping yesterday and tentatively tried a sweater dress on (leaving aside the fact that I'm bf and can't wear a dress atm), it would've looked good if I was a few kg lighter but as it was it emphasised the lumpy bits badly. that's kind of inspired me so I'm trying to take it seriously again. Today I have resisted munching all afternoon, which is my weak spot.

I'v managed 2 virtuous days in a row food-wise, and even got an hour's exercise in.
Re cardio, I do stair climbing as I have a nice flight of steps outside my house, and I can do a differeent flight for up and down. But I would imagine doing steps indoors would be very boring. Skipping? Vigorous dancing?

That's the spirit!

Sputnik · 16/11/2007 14:56

For lunch I had:
1 large plate of pasta and gorgonzola
1 large tub of lemon greek yogurt
4 or 5 homemade chocolate biscuits

Why don't I have a flat tummy yet?

Sputnik · 16/11/2007 14:59

I forgot the pre-lunch 1/2 packet of tortilla chips.....

deckthehallswithboughsofholly · 16/11/2007 15:53

Ahhhh pasta...my tummy is rumbling!

I used 9 points for breakfast and it was only scrambled eggs and tomato on toast and a glass of milk! WW sucks!

deckthehallswithboughsofholly · 16/11/2007 16:30

I'm feeling all demotivated now.

What do I do? Enjoy food and be fat or be hungry for the rest of my life and be thin?

I'm going to look for something in my book with low points that is going to fill me up...if that is possible!

Isawbumperkissingsantaclaus · 16/11/2007 17:09

holly - I was starving on WW too. It did affect my milk (I think) but then I seem to have this thyroid problem too which was overactive so I needed the extra calories. Now it's underactive so while I'm waiting for the medication to kick in and to get the right balance I'm going to get fatter!

I seem to have lost all power of resistance wrt cakes!

I can't do exercise DVDs as I live in a flat but going to ask for this for Xmas!

Right, come on girls, new year new bodies. We don't just want flat tummies, we want to look younger, feel younger and generally just feel better about ourselves.

For Christmas I got a pedometer and am determined to do the 10,000 steps a day thing. Plus get my yoga mat out and do yoga every other day.

Also today is the first day in a long time that I've gone the whole day with eating something bad. Ok, I know it's only 6.30 but I am feeling very positive about this.

BumperliciousIsOneHotMother · 01/01/2008 18:36
