my 1st proper WW day is going well(though I licked the spoon when i was making the mandarin trifle), I am hungry now though and will be glad when my tea is ready!
I made double pasta sauce so i can freeze some for next week. I am nearly entitled to have a domestic goddess halo

bumperlicious · 19/09/2007 17:25

Wow, foxy that's brill!

Well done Ria, very domestic of you! It's weigh in day for me tomorrow. I was gutted as according to my scales I was 10 st 8lbs but they weighed me in at 10 st 12

please can i have a big pat on the back because I didn't get up after baggins 2.30am feed and eat several penguin biscuits.

daisyandbabybootoo · 20/09/2007 10:00

Well done on the biscuit avoidance Ria...every little step helps.

A measly 0.5lb lost here ....but IN MY DEFENCE...feeling poorly crap and diets don't mix

must try harder, must try harder, must try harder.....

foxybrown · 20/09/2007 11:20

Ria, Malted Milk biscuits are 1.5 points for 2. Or go for the WW brand - they come wrapped in twos, so you feel bad opening any more than one. (Obviously no issues with over-packaging in the WW boardroom).

Daisy, think of that packet of butter - Thats fat disappearing from your arse/muffin top/bingo wings (choose your particular area of issue). And considering the particularly shitty week you had, its a major achievement. Good for you.

bumperlicious · 20/09/2007 16:10

bugger, only lost 1.5lbs, but i have been meticulously following the points and i've got a bloody overactive thyroid - why aren't i skinny?!

well done bumper

it's a good result when you've had a stressful week (I would have given in and had all the stuff that's bad and makes me feel good). Also you might not see the full results til next week? That's what they told me after my first week was only 1/2lb when i used to go to SW. of course that might just have been to get me to go back again

I am doing ok again today (and it's "ping-meal" day - yippee), but we are eating late tonight so it will be a test of my resolve...

bumperlicious · 20/09/2007 18:36

Yep, that's what they said to me too. Like you said, probably just a load of crap to make us go back

Bumper - that's great! 1.5 - 2 pounds is fantastic and the way to do it. It'll stay off that way.

My loss was over 2 weeks.

Stop being so bloody hard on yourself woman!

daisyandbabybootoo · 20/09/2007 22:55

what foxy said. optimum weight loss to keepit off and do it healthily is 1-2 lbs per week so pat yourself on the back...you are doing great.

Remember also that our BF bodies are designed to hold onto fat for milk making purposes so it may be that little bit harder to shift......lots of women find that the weight doesn't fall off till after they have stopped, or till they've BF for a reasonable amount of time.

I hope your nips are better.

sputnik · 25/09/2007 14:36

Bugger. After my holiday i am now slap bang back where I was when I started losing weight. Bugger.

congratulations all of you who have lost weight though (shuffles of to back of the class, chomping on last biscuit)

sputnik · 25/09/2007 19:04

Can somebody please give me a bollocking for eating all afternoon?

loonylovegood · 03/10/2007 14:19

Shall I do a little post to bump it for everyone?!

riabutterflew · 03/10/2007 14:26

what we want is flat tummies AND our cake...

not killed

sputnik · 04/10/2007 14:00

You want to wear shorts? In Fife? In October?
Seriously, know what you mean, but it sounds like you're doing well.

Bizarrly, I seem to have lost most of my holiday weight gain without doing anything particular. Maybe it was one of those weird blips.

i need something easy, painless and super-effective that takes about 15 minutes and needs no special equipment. Just for toning, I can walk more too for cardio.

i need one you can do in a flat that doesn't cause the neighbours to knock on your ceiling and tell you you are making their windows rattle in their frames!
