could just use your old jeans as a guide?

bumperlicious · 14/09/2007 16:27

what? like week one, over the knee, week 2 over the bum, week 3 zipped up, week 4 breathe?

That's what I did too DG. It wasn't the pregnancy that got me, but the BF appetite.

bumperlicious · 14/09/2007 16:49

that's my problem, bf make me starving, and this thyroid thing does too (that's my story & i'm sticking to it!). i thought an overactive thyroid was meant to make you skinny!

maybe it will all just fall off when i stop bf then?

bumper, do WW have a referral scheme like SW do? would your thyroid thing be something you couldget referred for? ihave no idea really but worth looking into to save money?

i haven't got started yet as have family picnic this weekend, dhs homemade pie to eat and i want fish & chips before i start!

I have thought of my motivation thoug. i will be 30 in march and would like to feel good.

lol at the jeans thing. i'm not trying that yet though as it would be too depressing

bumperlicious · 14/09/2007 21:49

Good idea for a yummy meal, pitta bread pizza, wholemeal pitta bread, passata and low fat mozzarella with a pinch of oregano, or even better, fresh basil!

I went to the gym this morning and got stuck into a really good workout.

After 20 mins I got called into the creche - a little boy had chucked a toy at baby's head and she had a lump there!

bumperlicious · 15/09/2007 19:21

Ah poor dd foxy. is she ok now? how did she go in the creche - before getting smacked in the head?!

well done for going to the gym though!

she did well, quite happy. took her last week too. its quiet on a saturday and she couldn't take her eyes off one of the girls who works there.

riabutterflew · 16/09/2007 22:36

can anyone tell me - does a measured amount of pearl barley have the same points value as the same amount of "broth mix"?

riabutterflew · 17/09/2007 17:47

so, that's my fish & chips eaten.

2 pack of WW desserst bought from the cheap frozen food shop. hopefully my stuff will come from ebay, and ...#

I'll start my diet tomorrow

sputnik · 17/09/2007 18:29

You're comitted now Ria.

I have been crap, haven't got back into my exercise groove since having a cold, and rushing around trying to sort DD's preschool has been eating up my mornings. now I'm going on holiday, will start being serious again next week. Now I'm committed

daisyandbabybootoo · 17/09/2007 18:29

Im using my poorliness as an excuse to send diet packing at the moment (I'm a right ole whinge about it, sorry ), although by my scales I've lost three pounds, so we'll see what my Wednesday weigh in brings.

I had 2 bars of galaxy today....and 2 yesterday...and chilli and chips for lunch...and I'm having Waffles and fried eggs for tea

will be a miracle if I haven't put on weight!

jabuti · 17/09/2007 19:53

hi ladies! i see everyone is doing WW. im doing ok in terms of food since beginning of september. only when we have guests out of our junk day that i fall off the wagon.

last week i stepped on the scale at my GP. i am 16 kg overweight. i've never been more than 3 kg overweight so i was truly shocked. then i read in different places that you need to have around 4kg extra if you are breastfeeding. that means i need to lose 12 kg. still a lot to go!!!

anyone else keeping the extra weight for breastfeeding?

foxybrown · 18/09/2007 14:38

Yes, on my hips and arse. I've never been particularly big there (even when bf the other 3) but this time my fat stores are staying put.

WW weigh-day tomorrow. Fingers crossed.

riabutterflew · 18/09/2007 15:37

oops - found a baguette in the kitchen...

am having a "disposing of temptation" day!
