And dairy-free too if needed.

It's not been the best month for a lot of Januaries has it?

No baby shoes here either, he usually has bare feet and only socks if cold outside.

Wilkie - is a hollywood all off? I've been thinking about getting a brazilian for ages now but am worried about the pain! Seems silly to worry after 3 natural births lol.

UD - That's great, I hope Ethan will be able to do that soon!

Agree with canmummy re carseats, have to be so careful and you shouldn't buy 2nd hand as you don't know the history. If a car seat has been in a crash they need repacing as they could be damaged but you wouldn't be able to see it and wouldn't protect lo in a crash.

Confession time ellie had some little white addidas trainers with pink flowers on that she wore from 7months till around 11 months when she walked properly(my brother bought them for her), hattie has worn these at times mainly because she loses to many socks will confess its only for an hour or two and when shes in the buggy so we come home with 2 socks

Ellie had a fab party kept running back to me saying 'having a fabulous time mummy' she went all shy at the singing happy birthday so no photos of her blowing candles out as she made me stand with her. Her cake was fab will post some pics later but DH broke one of the castle towers on the way to the party I was so managed to patch it together but he was in the dog house!! Girls now at my parents for the rest of the weekend so I can iron and pack. DH and I going out for dinner tonight (obviouly after the football!)

Right I need to get my 3 loads of washing in and sort out all her presents (think we have almost every single dora item they sell now!!)

LadyTophamHatt · 08/09/2007 18:09

But aspartamine...its....aspar..Ohh...ahh...

God, I have an unbelieavle urge to start ranting about aspartamine but need to remeber people are allowed to have differenet opinions to me

LadyTophamHatt · 08/09/2007 18:11

BTW, jodie why would you want it all taken off?

again just my opinion but whats attractive about a fanjo that looks pre-pubesent(sp??)??

LadyTophamHatt · 08/09/2007 18:11

sluperglu obviously didn't work very well.

theUrbanDryad · 08/09/2007 20:02

LTH - it's aspartame.

LadyTophamHatt · 08/09/2007 20:10

isn't there both, aspartame and aspartamine?

there certianly used to be.

Wilkie · 08/09/2007 20:25

Hollywood is all off underneath (no pants whilst its being done) and a landing strip. Playboy is ALL off (had it done once and looked like a plucked chicken - not v sexy), brazillian is landing strip but no waxing underneath.

Jodie - our carseat was from a policewoman from my sisters station so I know it hasn't been in a crash but would never buy one out of paper/ebay.

LTH - have read some interesting articles on aspartame and there are two views. One is that an internet campaign was started claiming the 'evils' of it that regularly are debated on MN, the other is that is a perfetly safe ingredient with no definitive links to cancer etc. Haven't finished looking into it but what I have read so far doesn't lead me to believe it is dangerous but I am always happy for more info in anyone has it. Prob is, everything I have read is either 1 side or the other - no middle ground.

WILKIE's TOP TIP - for those of you struggling to get your ice cubes out. Pour boiling water over the underside, it releases the cubes and they just pop out. DOn't hold the tray upside down but vertical whilst doing it!

Tried J on some Heinz Mum's Own jars yesterday and today ready for hols - I have never seen such utter disgust on a child's face so am going to have to take a weeks worth of home cooked meals with me and the freezer is tiny!! Arghhhhhhh!!!!

We have had 25 frigging mosquitos in our lounge tonight!! Little bastards. All dead now Although one oozed blood when I squished it so must have bitten me before I killed it! Urgh.

EAH - glad party went well. J was distraught his invite got lost in the post

eandh · 08/09/2007 20:36

We had his party bag ready

DH and I just been out for early dinner as no kids but I am knackered as had the worst night ever last night between the 2 of them (think they were overtired and hattie kept waking ellie) so just going to load pics onto laptop from camera and head off to bed.

Have finished sorting all the clothes etc for holiday just got to put them in a case tomorrow, tere seems so much stuff for a 5 day trip but I have had to pack summer stuff plus a few autumn bits as you never know with the weather, and why do men think that because they have laid 4 t-shirts out that they have helped . Wriiten my 'must pack monday' list ie hairdryer/battery charger/mobil ephone charger etc as I know I'll be so stressed with dh, ellie and hattie around.

Wilkie same problem hattie will occasionally have 1 odd meal from a jar but its few and far beween. We have breakfat/evening meal included so am going ti take the blender and hope I can mix a bit of dinner up for her (its a self service buffet style but they have microwave etc for baby food) its a pian as the jars of baby food are free whilst we are there

MrsCarrot · 08/09/2007 20:41

Or worse, Wilkie, it had just bitten the hairy old man at No. 25 before you killed it!

Can I just ask, how did you did the ice cubes out BEFORE you poured hot water on them? Is there another way, an ice-pick maybe??

eandh · 08/09/2007 21:06

I have loaded some pics of birthday and party on my facebook page

cake/party

Wilkie · 08/09/2007 21:07

MrsC - Liz was asking (I think), I used to use a knife until my BF shoed me the light.

LOVE the photos BTW EAH - you have two truly yummy daughters!

JodieG1 · 08/09/2007 21:11

LTH - I wouldn't want it all off nooooo, a hollywood is all off and a brazilian is a landing strip left.

Wilkie - ok fair enough, my inlaws bought 2nd hand ones form a car boot for their grandchildren (daughter's kids) and I told them about how bad that is, don't think they believed me though

JodieG1 · 08/09/2007 21:13

Wilkie - places I've seen waxing and talked about then a hollywood was all totally off and brazilian was everything off bar a landing strip. Was the same in London too, odd.

Wilkie · 08/09/2007 21:14

Well this is Lincoln! Same in all salons here. I had all off except landing strip (Hollywood here)

I am sure you will all sleep better tonight with that knowledge - would you like me to post a pic?

eandh · 08/09/2007 21:16

pmsl - knowing you, you probably would

JodieG1 · 08/09/2007 21:16

Maybe I'm wrong hehe, always thought it was what I said before though. Lol and no pics pls

Wilkie · 08/09/2007 21:16

eandh · 08/09/2007 21:17

Wilkie · 08/09/2007 21:17

Wilkie · 08/09/2007 21:27

eandh · 08/09/2007 21:29

MrsCarrot · 08/09/2007 21:31

I thought Hollywood was all bare too.

shudder

Lovely ictures EAH. Wilkie, I think yu can just leave it to our imagination

Wilkie · 08/09/2007 21:32
