I wish I could say the same here Sputnik...yesterday she had on a long sleeve vest under her t-shirt as it's been so cold and wet!

finally DD is settled. she was crying like she was hungry but was just using me as a dummy. As soon as my milk let down she gagged and pulled off. Little madam! So I stuck her dummy in and cuddled her for a bit till she went off to sleep (obviously Gina hasn't made much of an impact on the Boo household )

she nearly rolled over earlier as well...her legs were over but her arm was stuck underneath and she just got really cross.

Oooooo lovely, now I'm really jealous! I was so cold here today that I had to pt my heating on

riabutterflew · 21/08/2007 23:56

last night baby baggins(he has given up being like pootle - he is more like a hobbit with 1st breakfast, 2nd breakfast, elevenses etc) fed just after I went to bed aroud midnight until 5.30 this morning (best so far!), and then he went back to sleep until after DH woke me from a lovely deep sleep which included a dream about a nasty argument with FIL about pancake batter (don't ask!)

We had a great day out. Left house by 10am, everyone bathed except baggins who just had a top'n'tail for the first time in days (so much easier to bath him). He fed and slept brilliantly all day. DH doing well after op, another 4 weeks before he can work again, nasty physio to come, but looking goo. No school combat trousers to be had in the right size in eithe tesco at York which is a bit of a bugger. Took the boys to Tropical World. Rounday is gorgeous (haven't been since a primary school trip to the weather centre in 198-something).

Trace - glad to hear Chole is coming home - much love & prayers.

daisy - 8stone what? I haven't been that since I was about 14!

who mentioned barbara? are we haveing a sitcom revival?

riabutterflew · 22/08/2007 00:02

m not apologising for length of last post!

foxy, your earlier post. I was going to post to ask if anyone else was getting really pissed off with random shop-type people saying "ooh, you've got your hands full" etc.

So fucking what. We have several children. None of them are brandishing knives, shoplifting, mugging old ladies etc. They are children, we love them (most of the time). FECK OFF and mind your own business and do your job properly. (Made worse by swapping my middle one for my BFs middle one yesterday afternoon to go to the shops - confused a few people!)

FWIW - bloody MILs!!!

rant over, nightx

loonylovegood · 22/08/2007 09:24

Morning everyone!

Bumper, that is so shit you have to move! Hope you find somewhere equally as lovely xxx

TA if you haven't found anyone to dog sit I would love to! Dd would go crazy with delight if we had a dog in the house! She usually has to go to my parents' to see a dog!

Those underwired bras look fab! They are a bit out of my pricerange though, gonna have a scoot round 'tinterweb and see if I can find them cheaper. I am sick of having saggy boobs!

foxybrown · 22/08/2007 09:26

loonylovegood · 22/08/2007 09:26

Holly sounds peaceful at your house gald to see dd is starting young

TA no offers here for the dog I'm afraid have ancient cat who is mighty pissed off with another baby let alone a dog

Hi to everyone else off for a bit of rt this am then clinic for lo he has his first jabs on fri cannot believe it has come around so fast

TALLULAHBELLE · 22/08/2007 10:03

OH MY GOD - My DD went down at 10pm last night & woke up for her feed at 6:15, back down by 7 & slept till 9. I have had soooo much sleep I don't know what to do with myself. Am sure it will never happen again so just had to tell everyone.

daisyandbabybootoo · 22/08/2007 10:46

Woo Hoo tallulah...sounds great! I bet you woke up in a panic though. I did the first time babyboo slept all night!

LOL at baby baggins Ria!

re underwired bras...are the wires in them quite soft? I wore an underwired normal bra to the wedding I went o and after two hours oit was just the most uncomfortable thing ever. I eventually retired to my room and put on my nursing bra as I couldn't stand it any longer.

It's playdough hell in here today. DS has pulled it all out and there are globs of the stuff all over the house. He always wants me to play with it as well, but it gives me a really nasty itchy blistery rash....much prefer plasticene!

glad you enjoyed your hols andiem....we were thinking of Devon/Cornwall for next year, but its so expensive...and we liked Staithes so much we'll be going back there!

facebook is nuts...I just had a tattoo sent to me

foxy, you deserve a medal! I wouldn't even consider taking my two swimming on my own!!

Hi holly...you've been quiet for a few days!

OP posts:
faylisa · 22/08/2007 13:15

will it ever stop raining?

trendaverter · 22/08/2007 13:26

new thread perhaps?

faylisa · 22/08/2007 13:31

I'm so fed up with being stuck indoors constantly - DD is so desperate to go out all the time but I really can't face the playground or park in this weather. I spent a small fortune on craft materials yesterday to try and keep her entertained.
