I am off to essex tomorrow so did shopping for DH, cleaned bathroom, did laundry, washed pillows and duvet and am shortly off to pack. But then I am a wannabe overachiever

Yesterday I even did some work!! Got some photos edited ready to go. I feel like I am getting my life back a bit now the gaviscon is kicking in and I can get him settled.

Hope everyone is well. We've had a rough few nights here - think it must be the 3 week growth spurt and DS3 is 'draining me of my power'. Am totally knackered which means that my milk supply goes down and he just wants to feed all the time. I've now got a homeopathic remedy which should work quickly. If anyone else needs to know what it is and I will look it up (and the recipe for the special tea).

I have done some housework, so I'm not that lazy. I need to have a bath and I was waiting for ds to go to sleep before having one. He's only just fallen asleep!

Daisy, I don't know how you do both of them by yourself during the week. DH was away yesterday and again tonight and I find it really difficult to do the bedtime routine. How do you bath and feed at the same time???

homeopathic remedy is Urtica Urens (30c potency) - take 2 a day and increase to 3 if necessary.

there is als a tea which i drink copious amounts of: aniseed, caraway, celery, dill, fennel & ferngree (the last one's not right but it is something like that).

annobal.....i get dd ready for bed while DS gets himself ready (he's 5 and quite capable, he even brushes his own teeth now)). he then sits in bed reading while i feed dd and put her down. i then read him his bedtime story before collapsing on sofa with large glass of wine.

well that's the theory anyway...

...usually more like me shouting at ds to get ready whilst dd screams her head off as i've poured water up her nose, then ds kicks off and has huge tantrum about getting ready himself so i have to leave dd screaming while i scrub his face and teeth. then he won't leave me alone when i'm feeding dd and i get cross and dd refuses to feed so i have to jiggle her up and down to stop her crying whilst reading ds his story or the story gets refused by me as punishment for his stroppiness. finally get him in bed, her fed and settled before collapsng in a sobbing heap on the sofa with a bottle of gin...no tonic

and i usually bath dd in the morning, but only if she really needs one, otherwise a good wash with a flannel, and ds only has two baths a week cos he gets scratchy skin otherwise.

but holly...the organised mum calendar won't do the washing up for me

Bollocks! I just got out the bath and the nice (and rather fine) young man from Tesco knocked on the door with the shopping. I had to carry it all in the house with just a towel wrapped round me and try and stop dd running out the front door at the same time! The towel so nearly went!

I'm sure he'd much rather see you in your towell (or lack of) than your pjs

I'm still stuck on the sofa...everytime I try to do something DD wakes up (thank goodness DS is ast his GPs for a couple of days)

I just had my washing line collapse under a load of wet towels! its a rotary thing so had to untangle and take everything off before getting it up again. The pin has come out of the clip so had to bash it back in again.

why is everything falling apart around me...

we're off out while the sun is shining. and dd needs a sleep but wont settle so hopefully movement will help.
