Hope you manage to have lovely sleep, Pesha hon. xx

Ange - I am sure I could get hold of a purple one for you if you would like?? Wouldn't be too much bother - What other colour would you like alongside purple - pink or red?? Let me know ......

Just had 2 friends I haven't in aaaaaaaaaaaages pop into the shop, which was lovely.

AngeG · 27/06/2007 15:57

You're a star Dippy purple and red please! I love you loads

CaptainDippy · 27/06/2007 15:59

No probs sweet - Love you too!! How's it going??

Kneehighinnappies · 27/06/2007 16:03

I'M BACK!!!!!!

Yes it is true I have finished my work with 3 days left!

It has been bloody MANIC trying to get it all done, but by some small miracle and it must have been a miracle I have managed to do all my work!

It has also made another thing very clear t me I will not be going back to work when my maternity leave is up, I have spoken to my bosses and we have all agreeded that it would be best if they hired someone to take my place, there is no way in the world (unless I sell at least 2 of my kids)that I can hold down a full time job and be a full time mum.
It worked with 1 baby but 3 NO WAY

So the drinks are on me I got my £10,000 bonus, which by itself is enough to keep the twins in nappies for at leat 3 weeks

I am still not going to be around that much as I have been such a bad mummy and feel I should spend some quality time with dd1 and the dt's, who by the way are FANTASTIC.

I have them both sleeping throught till 5 or 6am most nights
It does involve DH sleeping on the couch and zed coming into bed with me when he starts to wake up, but it is going so well DH will just have to lump it.

I really want to come to this meet up I don't suppose someone could keep me posted with any developments as to where and when it is.

Hope you are all well and so are you growing bundles of umm joy?
Have I missed anything huge?
LOVE ALL THE BABY PICTURES, keep them coming.

Hope you all haven't missed me too much, you can all relax I really am back! yea

AngeG · 27/06/2007 16:04

Lovely when you meet up with people you haven't seen ages.

AngeG · 27/06/2007 16:10

Hi KH...great to see you. Glad you got your work done...well done you.

Dippy sorry I've just noticed a text from you...I'm had my phone on silent sorry. Will text you now. Things getting better slowly thanks although still pretty stressy.

CaptainDippy · 27/06/2007 16:13

KHIN - heeeeeeeeeeello! Congrats on finishing the work - you are an absolute marvel, in awe here! Good for you in your decision not to return to work, just enjoy being a mummy for a while! Great that all your LO's are sleeping so well - fab stuff - We have missed you! Mine's a Baileys on Ice & I expect Ange'll have a Cider of some description!!

I am going to have to sign off now as my boss could be back any minute & I prefer not to be MNing when she gets back!! Also P is a bit restless & needs more boobies!!

CaptainDippy · 27/06/2007 16:14

Will reply to your text when recieved Ange hon.

Right off now, "see" you all later .....

oooggs · 27/06/2007 16:17

Glad to 'see' you back KHIN - yes I have missed you glad the brood are happy and sleeping well.

Hard day today as ds1 has mild imbetigo, great so no nursery this week - where did my sanity go????????

will be glad when dh exam (next thurs) is over and he can help a bit more, I have a list, but don't tell him

nuttygirl · 27/06/2007 16:19

Ok, I can't remember much but here goes:

Runny - at you FIL being beaten up. Hope he's ok.

Argh...someone (sorry can't remember who) was saying about potty training boys - I read on another thread put a ping pong ball in the potty/toilet and tell him to see if he can hit it! (thought it was quite a good idea)

my hv doesn't do a weaning visit until 6 months...doesn't really help you 'be prepared' does it? I would prefer it to be at 12 weeks so I have soome idea of what I'm doing! tbh Erin already looks at our food while we're eating...she got upset the other day cos we ate all our breakfast and she didn't get any

Parents have been here but a little annoying. Dad complained I hadn't dusted (FFS - when do I have time to dust), I replied with "well I can show you where the dusters are)

Erin was really sick at her last feed last night, today mum sys to me "yeah but it was your fault she was sick, you shouldn't have given her that last 1oz" I'm starting to worry quite a lot because she's always been very quiet and at the moment she really screams when she's eating. HV is coming tomorrow to weigh her so will ask for some advice ...I won't get my hopes up tho!

Dippy have emailed you! (well I hopefully will have by the time you see this!)

AngeG · 27/06/2007 16:22

Dippy is right Magners for me please KH.

Oooggs - hello. Sorry DS is poorly...it so much harder when they can't go to Nursery...especially when they are not really ill in themselves, hope it clears quickly and that he's well behaved for you PMSL at list of jobs for DH, hope his exams go ok.

AngeG · 27/06/2007 16:25

Nutty you just reminded me Runny sorry to hear about your FIL hope everthing ok it must have been a very stressful time for you all.

Nutty are you using the Gaviscon...is it making any difference?

Pinions · 27/06/2007 16:31

Dippy - please save me a blue one!!! Chq's in the post.

Nutty sorry to hear you are having problems again feeding.

Loads of apologies cos no time to catch up unfortunately, been at costco all morning, all nicely stocked up for the next 3 months and spent a fortune . Thats life.

£10,000 bonus - now you're talking 1B3/knee high, if you're gonna do it then don't do it by half, nice one!

Bye all - and keep fruitshooting .

maveta · 27/06/2007 16:31

Hi KHIN! Good to see you and good on you re. your work, you sound really good!

Runny - how terrible for your poor FIL and of course your MIL and DH for their worries

Nutty - at your parents - quick thinking re. offering your Dad the dusters

Katy - hope the jabs went okay, how did he take them? N has his tomorrow, got to buy the equivalent of calpol before I forget, does anyone dose up beforehand just in case or do you wait to see how they go? How long does it take to see any reaction? I feel really apprehensive...silly me..

Kneehighinnappies · 27/06/2007 16:33

Oooooggs- must be hard having ds ill and home, I am thinking of packing dd1 off to nursery as she is pure evil at the mo, so many tantrums.
on the 7th of july I have a whole week on my own all day and all night as dh is on a course and my DP's are on holiday.
I can see me being on Mn alot moaning or not at all cause I am trying to keep dd1 entertained and too knackered.

I am thinking of stopping BFin g the dt's with dd1 being "evil" I am finding feed time's real hard work plus all the expressing, I feel like a cow.

AngeG · 27/06/2007 16:45

Maveta - I gave Izzy one dose of calpol just before we went to have her jabs...she was fine afterwards and didn't need any more...but they are all different.

Hi - Pinions

KH - A whole week on your own sounds tough, be thinking of you, please come on here and vent if you need to.

Has Mammyjo been about recently? I don't remember 'seeing' her recently. Hope she's ok.

Kneehighinnappies · 27/06/2007 16:52

My dt's have their second set of jabs tomorrow so we are taking the dd1 along to have her MMR, so mass injecting going on round here tomorrow
I can see me having the old calpol out if I give it to the DT's which I will dd1 will want it too.
Well it doesn't do any harm and may shut her up for a moment.

nuttygirl · 27/06/2007 16:56

She's having the gaviscon not sure it's making a great deal of difference but it's hard to tell at the mo cos stupid DH was giving her infacol aswell so the gaviscon was kinda trying to keep stuff don/settle her tummy and the infacol was trying to break up the bubbles and get wind up from her tummy....

Maveta - my doc said she could only have 2 doses per day total at this age so to give her one after the jabs if she got feverish and then another 4 hrs later if needed (so that would mean none before). Also a good tip is to get a syringe for it (easier than using the spoon!)

nuttygirl · 27/06/2007 16:59

Ange - love the email ...have sent it on to hubby!

oooggs · 27/06/2007 17:20

dt's had 2nd jabs last week - luckily all ok

ds1 has been good today - makes a change

KHIN - I am impressed you are still bf'ing go girl, well done, soooo formula is expensive for two.

whole week on your own

runny sorry to hear about fil - hope he is ok

hi Ange - I hope exams go well too otherwise it has been a struggle for nothing

nuttygirl · 27/06/2007 17:23

ooogs, formula is expensive for 1...it must cost you a fortune feeding 2 and nappies also.

oooggs · 27/06/2007 17:24

oh Ange I have just texted mammyjo to check she is ok - will let you know any reply

nuttygirl · 27/06/2007 17:24

Erin seems to prefer the ready made formula to the powder but it's too expensive. I buy a few packets for thing like going to baby group (where it's difficult to prepare anything else)

AngeG · 27/06/2007 17:26

Agree at syringe...totally impossible to give capol to a baby without it I think

Nutty Gaviscon takes a little while to become totally effective as I recall from Jake...if it's bad it may need to be combined with other medication.

Glad you liked the email...I thought it was great.

AngeG · 27/06/2007 17:28

Thanks Oooggs

Second while done to KH for still BF, you have done so well. I really admire both you twin mummies xx
