Pesha · 27/06/2007 21:31

I scored 16% which considering I've never used cloth on my own dcs is pretty high!! I do like cloth, sister's dd is in cloth and I happily change her bum, but I know what I'm like I'd just never keep up with the washing and everything and considering how demanding ds2 is it's prob just as well i didnt try!

CaptainDippy · 27/06/2007 21:34

On the potty training, I found exactly the same as Pesha when it came to potties, wished i'd had the potty chair one from the start.

and be careful how you use reward charts and the like, boys are inclined to do very little wees very often if they realise it'll get them more points

CaptainDippy · 27/06/2007 21:49

Haven't checked email tonight - intending to do so in a sec.

nuttygirl · 27/06/2007 21:50

Emmymummy - sophie is lovely! (and it's a fab name - I'd have used it if my sis hadn't got there first!)

JoMa · 27/06/2007 21:52

by the way, as well as climbing over a fence in a skirt, I also discovered today that Matthew is probably colour blind

Emmymummy · 27/06/2007 21:53

Thank you!

Ellie - why were you fence climbing today?

elkiedee · 27/06/2007 21:54

Hi all, you have been chatty today, it's taken me hours to catch up reading the thread this evening.

runnyhabit, sorry about your FIL, hope that he turns out to be fine apart from the emotional/physical shock from the attack.

I too am awed by the twin mummies, but also by all those of you with more than one little monster, um, darling to cope with.

had my NCT postnatal class on the other side of the borough today, two buses and a mile plus walk there, just one bus and even more walking on the way back. 4 of the 6 classes gone already, I'm going to have to find something else to be my Wednesday thing from the end of next month - if I don't have a commitment to do something I never get out and then I get mopey - or I did on Monday/Tuesday this week.

JoMa · 27/06/2007 21:55

you must be mad Elkie, the village green is enough of a walk for me
and I got drenched every time i left the house today

Fence Climbing - went to get Joe weighed (14lb 7oz) and as it's in the same village as Justin's Mum, and Matthew goes to nursery over there, we go to clinic, then to MIL for lunch, then on to nursery. get to MIL, no answer at door. rang phone, could hear her mobile ringing, no answer. shouted for her in case she was in garden, dog came but not MIL. getting worried now, she must be in so is she hurt? left boys in porch with door shut and instructed matthew not to move (very quiet dead end road). Climbed over fence to find MIL digging potatoes . I swear she's going deaf

Been wet here too .....

I get mopey if I stay in too, Elkie.
