Oh another meet up.. am very .. sadly I can´t see me making any of these in the near future but hey, if any of you are out this way... (you never know!)
Didn´t even attempt to follow the last post, don´t know where you guys get the time these days! I think we´re slightly out of sync time-wise.. I normally look in about 6/7pm my time which seems to be when you are all having tea and doing bedtime etc. Then dh gets in at 8pm, we make tea, eat tea, clean up, put babs to bed and then about an hour of couple time (i.e. telly) and I fall into bed.
Went to the osteopath yesterday, she cracked about a zillion bones in my back and they fiddled about with N´s head and pelvis and that´s about it. I just don´t really understand how it´s supposed to work. I am happy to give it a shot as so many people rave about it but N didn´t particularly have any specific problems so not sure if it will be hard, if not impossible, to see any difference in him as a result of the session?? We´ll see.. she´s told me to call in 2 days and let her know if I noticed anything and also to go back in 2 weeks for a follow up. Not decided yet if we´ll go back, depends on whether it seems like it did anything, I guess.
Yvie - was it you that had toothache? Thousand sympathies, my wisdom tooth ached for about a week just past and it was bloody agony. BTW my mum´s dentist told her not to use mouthwash as it kills healthy bacteria in the mouth too... had never heard that before..
Anyway, quiet day planned today (surprise surprise), day started off a bit grim but looks like it might be cheering up so might find the energy to go for a walk. Mum and Dad are away for a week so I have to go feed their cats and change the litter tray twice a day. It was supposed to just be the weekend but they´ve decided to stay on (nice life!). Wouldn´t mind but their cats are ancient and they poo and wee all over the shop so it´s not just scooping out a couple of logs it´s changing the whole thing, mopping the floor, etc etc etc. AND the last time we went away for ONE NIGHT and asked them to feed our cats in the morning, we came back in the afternoon to find they hadn´t been yet. (my mum ´oh I was just about to go´ -. yeah thanks mum, they wanted BREAKFAST not a late LUNCH). I shouldn´t moan, they said they would put them in kennels if it was too much hassle but you know that´s the kind of ´if it´s too much hassle´ that you´re not really supposed to say, yeah actually it is, too.
Phew! Long post! Off to shower...
