Bloss-massive hugs my hun.((((((((xxxxxxxx)))))))) I never want that bloody awful bug again.

So about the meet up-looking forward to the pics.

As for Peter's new heart- Have followed their story for years.

Have waved DH off to work and have told him not to come home without my Grand Vitara. Going to have to stay up as I shouldn't think they'll get back much before midnight.

kbaby-there are billions of cars on Ebay and if all goes well with this one we will have got it for £2000 less than a garage price.

Must go as Em will be tidying her bedroom before we go out!

Love to all

Oh babalon, what a shame

Can't wait to see all the pics, wish I could have been there

TheGoddessBlossom · 15/08/2007 19:22

I REALLY wish I could have been there too. pants.

Felt better when I woke up, but jeez did I feel like total crap last night. Just went to bed for the whole evening and night and slept it off. Weird how it came back again so soon, wonder if it's viral or something, I never get ill...DH was really really good, he completely took over, and checked on me numerous times, brought me a bucket and was generally unbelievably fab, credit where credit is due...his Mum was rushed into hospital yesterday with mystery heart problems too so he was stressed about that as well. As he said, "Both the women in my life are ill today" awww. She's home now and none the wiser so hopwfully it's a one off.

Toby was Mr Cling again today, do you know I think it's hunger. I never really twiggedit before because he eats such big meals I thought it can't possibly be that, and I give both boys regular snacks, but he gets inconsolable at about 3.30, 4pm, and when I have fed them both at about 5pm he is all smiles again. He ate his usual meal but H truly outdid himself at tea time consuming:

cod in parsley sauce, carrots, beans and peas.
buttered roll
banana
satsuma
fairy cake
pot of custard

Nightmare Babalon, can't beleive you missed it, I am truly gutted I couldn't go.

HC - hope uve got the car, is it fantastic!

CB - I bet Josh ain't really naughty, just cute.

KZ - LOL at u bopping to live set from Ibiza. I regularly stick my faves on the stereo about 8.30am after DH has gone to work so me and the boys can dance around the living room, important for their musical eduation. This morning we had Sheryl Crow Greatest Hits, and Coldplay X&Y in the car. Toby is sooo sweet, he stops whatever he is doing as soon as he hears music and starts clapping.

Got a new phone yesterday with a camera on it, and there is no stopping me now. Got some fantastic shots of the boys in the sun today. Went to a friend's house for the day, had a lovely time.

Right, must do my nails, nice to be back in the land of the living and not moaning and groaning in bed. WIth the pukes that is, before any of you get saucy...

KZ, LOL at "fuggit", been there more times than I care to list here. Although I did always pride myself on my ability to get a black cab by successfully masking the fact that I could not talk or walk.

Wallace · 15/08/2007 21:30

Bloss - think you might be right about the hunger. Leo was really whingy until he had a huge plate of spag bol (BLW style )

So happy for misdee, peter and their girls

Hi Girls
Just a quickie as it?s late again - DP is watching the footie so I haven?t been arsed to get off to bed yet.

HC - oooh exciting, hope it?s nice and shiny!

KZ - tee hee at ?fuggit? too I was once sharing a cab home with a drunk friend - she threw up quite neatly onto her tiny lycra skirt but I managed to persuade her (with some difficulty, as there was a lot of swaying going on) to keep it all on her lap till she got out of the cab to avoid paying the £50 bill. Was inordinately proud of the fact that the cab driver didn?t even notice!

Glad you?re recovered Bloss

Ceebee - lol at Josh?s antics, he does have a cheeky twinkle in his eye doesn?t he! Maybe Emma was crying in the car on the way home as she realised that Josh was only after her for her dummy

we couldn?t all be at the meetup - we need some kind of tardis-type transporter to get us all in one place for the afternoon. In the absence of that we?ll have to work out some logistics for the future - maybe regional ones, with Skype video links between them!

Annie - my peely-wally pale skin is 100% Scottish, I?ve got one of those blue-ish complexions (when not flushed with alcohol obviously)!

Bedtime imminent - have good nights all xxx

HumphreysCorner · 16/08/2007 09:15

My car is here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Got up at 12-30am and was sat in it in my nightie. Tis super posh. Going to ring my insurance company now-I know it is going to cost me more than the Astra. Ho hum! Also got to phone FIL and thank him for lending us the money. Will have to be nice to PIL from now on methinks.

Bloss-hope you are eating better today.

Byee for now

Just sneaking in here on my lunchbreak (joys of working at home). Glad you enjoyed the meet-up, would love to have gone but now work Tues and didn't feel up to taking leave only a few weeks in. Also felt a bit chicken about taking the boy on a long train journey Had better get over that soon as I'm heading to my parents for the bank holiday weekend. Am sweating slightly at the thought of managing the buggy, the boy and our luggage through the tube network . As long as I take enough food it should be ok, Dom would eat constantly during waking hours if he could get away with it! So much easier when I could just wap out a boob, now I have a bulging handbag full of rice-cakes, raisins, bananas, the odd portion of cold shepherds pie... you know how it is .

KZ - grr at 'D'H, I'm embarrassed to say that I'm the one in our relationship who tended to do stuff like that, my DH is not really a party animal. 'Course, not that I've had my party shoes on recently... still, going out with some of my best girlfriends tonight (we have varying ages of babies now) and we haven't been out for a girly night since we were preg. Could get interesting .

Hi Ladies.

At home today, with the two munchkins. One's asleep, t'other's in his cot doing a jigsaw, but has gone very quiet, so I think he may be ...

... YES! He's asleep. They were both up at 6am, so that helps at this time of day.

Just phoned my mom at home earlier, she was off to the optician. Her sight is going, and they don't think there's much that they can do. Scary. Mom seemed to just be accepting it as part of old age, but she's not very expressive of her emotions, so I don't really know. She must be a bit scared though.

Hi Mae!! Good luck with the train journey. Just don't be afraid to ask people for help up and down stairs on the tube, people are usually good, but often in a world of their own, so need some nudging.

HC, Well Wear with your new car!

KZ, both me and DH used to be like you, but sadly we now fall asleep in front of Corrie after a glass of wine... A night time adventure must have been fun for Chi and R!!
How were you watching him go round in circles??? HAve you got him tagged and linked up to your security system???

Hi First

DH is also watching every single footie match on the telly at the moment. After the summer starvation of it, he's overdosing now...
Us celts are gorgeous really aren't we!!

I was once sick in a taxi too. It was after we finished exams in first year in college. The driver demanded payment, I can't really remember what happened...
Ah the good ole days [sigh]

Crap, she's awake

AnnieOleHouseElf · 16/08/2007 13:47

Asleep again

More tea anyone?

AnnieOleHouseElf · 16/08/2007 13:48

Glad you all enjoyed the meet-up by the way!

was there booze?

TheGoddessBlossom · 16/08/2007 14:29

Annie I knew you were going to ask that. I had grand plans of whipping out a bottle of fizz and paper cups to cheers of Hurrah. Pants.

KZ I would have gone mad. No way would I have done that for DH and he knows it. You are a complete softie.

AnnieOleHouseElf · 16/08/2007 15:08

Hi Bloss, hope you are feeling better.
I like the sound of your meet up!

Going for a pint in a bit when DH comes home. Anyone like to join me?
