BigHotMama · 16/07/2007 22:14

Hi everyone, I've been busy sorting my life out lol, have decided to go back to work during the week but maybe part time as a teaching assistant so been busy researching on the schools near here and am applying to 30 schools tomorrow (ARGGH!)

Congrats on your scan NBG, another little man bless!

Olivo bet you cant wait, my sister has just passed her GTP in secondary school as a drama teacher, she cant wait to break up feels like its taken over her life. Do you have many assistants working at your place? Decided to start as an assistant before eventually applying for either a PGCE or do a GTP?? Was so confused over the whole thing and still am, just hope something comes out of these letters and cv's I'm sendign off.

Jackson has started enjoying and chewing his meat now, we gave him a slice of beef yesterday thinking he'd just play with it and we wereshocked that he ate it but enjoyed chewing it too wahey! (I was a terrible meat eater when I was yoiung so hopefully he takes after his dad!)

Micxku so happy for you that Talia is doing well and the scan looks promising, thats great news for you.

Hope everyone else is good, cant believe they are all nearly one already? Where has the time gone? Scary or what?

Arabica · 19/07/2007 00:00

Hi everyone--haven't been on here for ages and ages, but wanted to say hello.
Esja's going to be one year old on 27th July, I can't quite believe it. In some ways the time has flown by but in others it's dragged. Especially as we have spent a fair bit of it in hospital waiting rooms...
Micku5, Esja isn't crawling either although she has a very positive physio who insists she will get there by her birthday . Sorry to hear your LO's been in hospital.

Arabica · 19/07/2007 00:03

Oh and congratulations on the scan NBG!!!

eenybeeny · 19/07/2007 14:22

hello everyone! how are you all? It's been ages and ages since I have posted on here. Alex is doing great, he just won the village Bonny Baby competition!

How are we all feeling now that its approaching a year? How is everyone and their babies?

Love,
Eeny

sarahlou1uk · 19/07/2007 15:53

Eeny!! Hello!!!! Nice to see you back. Hope Sal and Alex ok.
Molly is now scooting around everyone and anywhere and using furniture to walk with. Can't believe she's nearly 1!!! Just killing time at the moment as I'm waiting for my Next slot for the sale stuff!

dressedupnowheretogo · 19/07/2007 21:42

hi eenny have tried to call you a few times do you still have same number ?????

im glad alew is ok cj is walking and talking but is still virtually bald and only has two teeth

fitzfrodo · 20/07/2007 15:10

Hi all, again haven't been on probably since the labour! Joe is fantastic although 2 stone and will NOT crawl!
Just found out we are having another (for all our sins) so make that August 06-and 2 bumps, Christ knows where the new baba will go...shoe box under the bed perhaps
xx

BigHotMama · 20/07/2007 16:54

Ah congratulations frodo! Joe sounds like a lovely big boy bless him! Got any pics? Hope your back to chat more with us now!

Eeny where you been hiding? Well done to Alex winning the bonny baby comp, bet you are a very proud mummy! Hows things? Say Hi to Sal.

Jackson is refusing to eat anything from a spoon (except desert lol!)and just wants to get stuck in with his hands so its becoming even more of a mess here and he has today learnt how to say 'ta' (thank you) and gives me things when I say it back to him and hold out my hand its very cute!

Has anybody else got their lo measured up for shoes yet? Jackson only has diddyfeet but is a size 3.5 G and had his first pair of clarks shoes, they are quite trendy and in the sale for a fiver wahey!

Also had to take ds to docs this week as come out in a rash all over his legs feet and hands, and had a slight temp, was not himself all day poor thing. Doc said it was a viral rash and it will fade on its own? I personally think it could be a rash from change of washing powder due to me buying the wrong one doh and not even realising until after I had used it! Luckily its fading noe and ds is back to his cheeky little self.

Its pissing down again here so looks like another wet and miserable weekend.

Off out tonight for drinks and curry yumyum!

Oops essay over

olivo · 20/07/2007 19:43

I MADE IT!! I made it to the end of term!! six weeks holiday.....bliss!
Frodo - congratulations! good to hear from you.
BHM - we are going tomorrow to get holly's feet measured; let's hope there are still some shoes in the sale !

dd finished at her nursery today - we are moving her to a teachers' one after the holidays. i felt really sad as she loves it there, but then again, she'll forget over the holidays anyway. they gave us a book of memories- paintings, photos and a little thing written by her key worker - it made me cry , its gorgeous! we've also got her number as she said she'd love to babysit for us so hopefully we'll see her again.
lets hope the sun keeps shining this weekend, its been lovely here.

sarahlou1uk · 21/07/2007 09:59

Molly's been wearing her first shoes from Clarks for about 3 weeks now - she's a 3 1/2 F!!!

eenybeeny · 21/07/2007 16:20

Hi All!!! I have missed you. OK here goes -

MN got a bit too much for me. I got sick of the nasty side of it here, the judgemental side. And my safe haven - the August board with you lovely ladies - was too hard for me to keep up on. I dont know why but I seem to have a lot less time to chat than some of you and to be honest I felt a little left out because I wasnt chatting on MSN etc. I found it too hard to keep up on all the news etc.

Anyway I have missed you all and been thinking about you as our babies are approaching the big ONE.

Alex is huge - 2 stone and his feet are a 4 1/2H or 5H. He has shoes now for the outdoors although at home he never wears them.

He is cruising around the furniture and is really really good fun! Bring me up to date with all your news!!

How are you NBG? Booby your name change confused me!! I didnt know you had changed!

dressedupnowheretogo · 21/07/2007 22:48

eeny missed you loads i'll call you next week to catch up im always online to if you wanna chat

i have weeks wen i dont post we never jdge as yo know

cj is on her second pairs of shoes shes gone ffrom a 2.5f and now a 3 f so she has tiny feet i assme she also has had her first scffed knee and bumped head

plus only 6 days to move they have pt the carpets in house looks lovely so my broadband will be off from thrs day when eva they come to saturday hopeflly fingers crossed

olivo · 22/07/2007 10:26

hello all!
eeny - great to hear from you - i can understand where you are coming from about MN being a bit heavy sometimes, but we are always here on this thread and we've missed you.
my dd's feet are too small for shoes . i took her yesterday and they said she's not quite a 2 1/2 and that they accasionally get shoes in that small. however, we are off to england in a couple of weeks so may try a shop over there. i am only a 31/2 so i guess she may be small like me.
dressed up - you must be so excited - i love moving house!

Nbg · 22/07/2007 12:30

Hiya Eeny!
Lovely to see you back and great to hear about Alex. Sounds like he's doing really well.

I'm ok. Coming up to 22 weeks with another boy!

Congrats to you Frodo Scary prospect isnt it! One thing I have found is that this pg is going very quickly and I can only put it down to chasing after dd and ds.

Olivo, enjoy your hols

dressedupnowheretogo · 22/07/2007 19:45
