good thinking pink.
BTW - congratulations NBG!

Nbg · 06/04/2007 16:30

....one new small, neat, non strech-marked, non kicking, non aching, high up bump.

Its bloody showing already

PinkTulips · 06/04/2007 16:59

awwww, fabulous how you feeling, still no MS?

OP posts:
Nbg · 06/04/2007 19:15

Think I might have a touch of afternoon sickness as felt queasy yesterday afternoon but wasnt sure if that was nerves about the MW coming and this afternoon dh went away for a week.
I'll see how I am tomorrow.

PinkTulips · 06/04/2007 22:26

oddly enough i found with both mine the sickness only kicked in properly after i found out i was preg at 10 weeks or so.... think it's mostly psychological really!

where is everyone these days anyway?

OP posts:
purpleturtle · 06/04/2007 22:34

Well, you've brought me out of the woodwork! Congratulations!

You'll have your hands full, won't you?!

purpleturtle · 06/04/2007 22:48

And now you've made it look like I've killed yet another thread!
My 'threads I'm on' is full of them.

Shall take it personally and go to bed.

PinkTulips · 06/04/2007 22:54

i'm half afraid to post on this one anymore as it's forever lurking in my threads i'm on with no messages after mine...... i reckon if you read the old thread i'm probably every second message!

OP posts:
purpleturtle · 06/04/2007 22:54

But not before I've apologised if I've been insensitive, NBG. Just had a very quick scan of the top of the last thread. Sorry for just leaping in there with the congratulations. (although I still mean it.)

See, I'm tired now, and I'm rambling, so I'm going to bed.

Nbg · 07/04/2007 12:46

Here look I'll be a thread killer!

Gorgeous day here. Got some colour on me already and have only read the paper and had my lunch.
Going to take the kids to the park this afternoon with my Nan as shes staying for a few days while dh is away.
I'm going to get her to teach me how to knit again, lol!

Then tomorrow we have a family tea in York so it should be a good weekend.

eenybeeny · 07/04/2007 20:22

dont worry pink we are still alive and kicking.

NBG I am soooooooooooooooo of you!

Hi burstingwithminicremeeggs!

Well we are just doing up our garden and I am busy working. The garden looks soooooo nice I love it I think I am going to live out there this summer. We've spent a fortune (borrowed) on it so all my tips are going to that at the moment.

Hope you are all enjoying the bank holiday weekend !

olivo · 07/04/2007 20:37

only 14 weeks till the summer holidays . we break up on 20th july..so the count down begins the day i start back! i am committed, honest

pink - very organised of you!
eeny, we are sorting our garden too, and we're going to get dd a swing for her birthday -cant wait!

hope you dont mind me asking, but did anyone else have a bit of a wibble about a week after stopping bf? have been having a moment of sadness today, but too late to go back to it now and i know it was time. .

now there's a thread killer.......

Nbg · 07/04/2007 21:06

Awww Olivo
I can imagine its made you sad and I reckon its because its clashed with you going back to work too.
But you need to give yourself a huge pat on the back for doing it for as long as you did. Its a real achievement.
As for going back to work, your looking at it the right way. Count down your hours till going home and count down the days/weeks till your holiday. Plus dont you have one at the end of next month?

Eeny, lol at you being . I honestly feel no excitement just pure shock and am scared witless.

Well we had a lovely day. We went to the park and dd made a few new friends lol. She just throws herself in with anyone and plays so she was getting stuck into a game of football
We then walked home and had ice lollies!

melsy · 08/04/2007 09:28

hiya girls in new home lol. Nice touch pinky.

Nice to see everyone in good spirits.

Ill give Olivo extra hug for stopping BF and feeling sad, its very normal hun , as all the extra happy hormones are leaving you, but it will adjust soon. As nbg said young also have a big adjustmant to life coming up too, in going back to work.

Awwww nbg , that scared and shocked feeling will also pass , soon I hope, with some help.

eeeeny you must show us your lovely garden , were having ours ripped up in a few weeks and starting again ,its a right ole mess , dead trees (my beloved lilandis have an in infection), nettles and LOADS of huge nasty weeds. Its gonna be a mess for a while and then it will be FAB, never ever had a garden done before. I cant wait to sit in it after my operation to recover. It will have a thai balinese style to it.

Thankfully my 3rd period has finally stopped after 7 DAYS of full on heavyness. Thats the 3rd in less than 6 weeks I think. Im dreading it coming again in a couple of weeks. I feel better now at least , that horrid exuasted sluggish tearful feeling goes as soon as it over.

Whats everyone doing for easter sunday ? Its meant to be passover still , but Ive had pasta , bread and all sorts of non passover stuff , hey ho. Weve got a family roast lunch here in about 3 hrs and nothings been started yet, dh is the chef of the house and is still in bed lol. Hid turn as he always lets me have sleep over the weekend.

PinkTulips · 08/04/2007 15:32

weathers gone all cloudy and ook here

on the plus side my mom's popped down and brought us loads of choccies, copies of some of the movies they rent out, belated birthday pressies for me and clothes for the kids and she's out for a walk with sarah now so we have a bit of peace from the chocolate induced hyperactiveness

sorry that your feeling sad about the bfing olivo.... i was 3 months preg when i finished so was quite relieved to be honest but i still had days where i almost went back as i felt so bad not to be feeding anymore

OP posts:
dressedupnowheretogo · 08/04/2007 20:23

glad everyone is ok

[jayne pats nbg lil bump as she leaves]

Nbg · 09/04/2007 08:21

Waaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
I have sickness and its not just morning sickness, its all bloody day sickness
Whhhhhhhhhhyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

Sorry but I am feeling rather sorry for myself today. I have to eat constantly to stop feeling sick and when I think of food that makes me feel sick too.

Did you have a good dinner Mels? Will catch up with you today maybe.

Pinky, sounds like a good day there. Has dd come down off her chocolate high yet?

Booby, Sounds like your having fun too.

All these garden projects sound great. I had big plans this summer to do lots to our little courtyard but I think that might be on hold till next year now

PinkTulips · 09/04/2007 09:27

she was surprisingly good considering the sheer amount of chocolate she had but by bedtime she was so hyper she was trying to climb out the living room window..... that's 2 stories up and just randomly throwing herself around the room.

get some ginger bicuits sweetie
