PinkTulips · 28/06/2007 18:22

BHM - they sell bepanthen in boots and in our local chemist (NBG, mine isn't yellow - i thought that was metanium? we have ream carpets!) not sure about asda as we dont have it here - i love asda!!
nbg - those recipes sound gorgeous!!
sorry to hear about those of you caught up in the floods, must be a nightmare
oh, and BHM, do a test NOW!!! ( and report back, of course!!!

BigHotMama · 28/06/2007 20:05

I aint doing a test yet, far too scared lol. Cant see it though as although we dont use anything he never does the deed inside iyswim so cant be? Have got stomach cramps today so maybe af is going to come after all, will keep you updated though..scary thought if I was!

Nbg · 29/06/2007 09:18

Oooooooooh BHM
Please make a note, sit down when you do it. I nearly passed out when I did mine and looked at the result. I had to sit outside for ages till I calmed down!

Olivo, your right. It is Metanium thats yellow. So thats another you could try BHM.
I'm sure you can get Bepanthen with all the baby stuff from Boots.

If you can see it just ask at the pharmacy counter.

PinkTulips · 29/06/2007 09:23

BHM, hate to break it to you but the little dudes escape before the big event iykwim so you could still easily be pregnant.

do a test, i waited til 9/10 weeks with caleb to test even though i knew and i killed myself trying to carry on as normal working, bfing dd, dealing with her not sleeping. i've never been so tired in my life!

good luck, somebody email me if she is as i'll be more likely to check my mail than log on her at my dads shop... he's a nosy old fart at times!

I'm gone now hopefully will have net sooner rather than later.

I'll miss you guys! xxxx

Snowboo · 29/06/2007 11:01

Oh gosh, Pinky, hope it all goes smoothly for you! (but she's prob gone now.)

Oh i'm off to find my trouble. I think hes in the fireplace again!

BigHotMama · 29/06/2007 19:22

Bye and Good Luck with the move Pinky hurry up back

Haven't done a test and haven't had an af yet? Shitting my pants now! We are so NOT ready for No.2.

BigHotMama · 30/06/2007 15:16

I'm not pg just done a test PHEW!

olivo · 30/06/2007 17:40

BHM - i was the same a couple of weeks ago - was doubley stressed as the pg tests had a security strip on them and set the alarms off in boots; was v embarrassed to be asked ' would it be a good thing or a bad thing?' by the shop assistant!

off out with dh on our own tonight- only 2nd time since dd was born! my mum has come to stay for a few days so is looking after her for us!
weather still crap here, here's hoping for it to be dry tomorrow!
pink - hope its going ok.

rattleskuttle · 30/06/2007 21:32

hope you have a good time olivo. it's just constant rain here. i took dd swimming this morning while ds went to town with dh

well,

yes, i'm happy. the scan shows that ds's right kidney inflammation has already gone down by half and he no longer has to take antibiotics. he will have repeat scans in 6 months and after that might never need any more treatment

olivo · 01/07/2007 08:28

that's great news, rattleskuttle
well, we had a lovely time last night,my naughty dd got up and my mum fell for the old 'i need some more milk' trick!
we are taking advantage of the fact it is dry today (so far!) and are going to the zoo after swimming.hope everyone is having a good weekend.

BigHotMama · 01/07/2007 12:36

Thats fab news Rattle bet your so chuffed with the results.

There must be something in the air as I took ds swimming this morning, we're all at it lol. He was quiet for about 5 minutes then let rip with screeching, kicking and splashing. Was funny when we first got in there his lips were quivering. Now he fast asleep yeah!

Lol Olivo at you setting the alarm off, and how rude of the shop ass to ask you that question? Its personal surely?

Weather is crap here again, starting to wonder if we will have a summer at all at this rate?

Ds has gone to bed like a dream the pastfew nights after having tantrums and crying at bedtime last week, we have started giving him his tea at 5pm and last bottle at 6.30pm milk an hour earlier and he falls asleep at his bottle then doesnt get up till next 7ish next morning FAB! Wonder how long that will last!

olivo · 02/07/2007 12:22

good morning! well, i have been signed off work AGAIN for a week, my voice has gone again and they've said i'll trash it if i go back to work too soon. so i am now on my 6th lot of time off since i went back - honestly, - i wouldnt employ me!! I am actually really relieved as i thought i might be suffering from depression but my GP, who knows me pretty well, said this laryngitis can stay around for a month and can really make you feel low, and she is sure i'll feel better in myself once i feel better, IYSWIM!
on the plus side, i get to watch daytime tv for a few days without dd or dh changing the channels!
BHM - at good sleeping, i'm - my dd has been waking during the night and glugging an extra 8oz bottle like i never feed her. i've heard they have a growth spurt around now and certainly, she has suddenly started doing lots of new things that may affect her sleep. maybe your ds could teach her how to sleep till 7 a.m!

melsy · 02/07/2007 12:42

awwww great relief rattleskuttle on your news, so glad hes on the mend.

sorry missed pinky going , hope it all goes well for her. I feel her energy not here !

weird with the swimming ,we took both dd's on sat too!!!!. dd2 took to it like a duck to a pond !! dd1 swam with armbands , sooo exciting.

(((((((Olivo)))))))) for yor throat , feel you need it. Make some chicken soup if you can , Ive given recipe to NBG , its very good for colds and infections.

I went to my 1st spiritual open circle evening last week and it was soo fab and enthralling, cant wait to go this week. I also got given a reiki treatment by a friend last fri , a lovely gift from her. I feel so much more at ease and positive.

off out to a friends to meet her new baby girl properly , hope I dont get broody lol.

send hugs to (((((((((booby)))))))who starts work again today. Hope the day is not as bad as the aniticipation.

xx

olivo · 02/07/2007 13:07

i'm interested to hear your reiki treatment wokred for you melsy. i used to have them and they gave me a great emotional outpouring that really cleared my system. have just received the other half of my maternity pay so am going to treat myself to a couple of sessions as i am rife with negativity at the moment and hope that'd really help.

olivo · 02/07/2007 13:08

hope all is going well for booby at work.x

Nbg · 02/07/2007 13:11

Great news Rattle!

Mels, pmsl at you getting broody

Olivo, go for the treatment. Have heard so many good things about reiki.

As you may or may not know.

I WON THE MN COMP TO EUROPA PARK IN GERMANY

So we're off there at the end of this month for a couple of days.
Should be great. I'm just a bit scared about flying but its needs must and I know dd will love it.

olivo · 02/07/2007 13:17

hey, well done NBG - that's so cool !

dressedupnowheretogo · 02/07/2007 13:38

olivo · 02/07/2007 14:16

aw booby, sorry to hear that. hope you are ok.

sarahlou1uk · 02/07/2007 15:14

Well done NBG!

Booby - sorry to hear you're not well at mo. Hope you get better soon.

Olivo - hope you get better soon too!!

Well, looks like I've got to get those stairgates back on as Molly has now figured out how to crawl forwards! Up till last week, she would only go backwards but not now. How's everyone else coping?

Nbg · 02/07/2007 15:18

We've had a babydan up for a few weeks sarahlou.

Beacuse part of our downstairs is open plan, we had no choice but to buy one. It cuts off the dining room, kitchen and stairs.
Ellis hates being stuck behind it and will scream blue murder if I go through and leave him lol.

sarahlou1uk · 02/07/2007 19:05

We bought a babydan for Jack but we had a bigger lounge at the last house. It's somewhere up in the loft in pieces....... . I'll just put the stair gates up and one in the kitchen and she can't get anywhere. If I put her in her entertainment centre, she screams the place down as she wants to move!
