majormoo · 20/05/2007 12:02

Hi Jetjets. I really like the name Bob. We would have considered Bobby only it was my DH's grandma's name and she had a difficult relationship with my FIL so thought not a good idea to name a baby after her!

Gingme hope DH is back in your good books soon

Hi everyone, so many posts to catch up on!!!!

My lo has been poorly since last week and had to take her hospital yesterday as i was worried about her temp it wud just not go down and she was just constantly sleeping, turns out just a viral infection thats is going around and not to worry hard not to when her temp was going over 39 took day off work to look after her and her temp has finally gone down!!!!

All his talk of more babies is getting me broody!!!! got to find a bigger house first which is proving to be harder then we thought!!!!

wuzzlefraggle · 21/05/2007 13:15

welcome to the thread jetjets!!

youngmum - sorry to hear that your lo hasnt been feeling well, but glad that it wasnt anything too serious

are any of you lot still bf???

Rumpel · 21/05/2007 15:16

Hi All,

Just back from pole dancing. Very sunny up here so hot and sweaty today. We were practising our sexy (supposed to be) floor work and strutting around the pole moves. I think I would have to go with comedy pole dancing as it makes me chortle. There is 1 lady who pouts like Victoria Beckham
The strutting move reminds me of my Mums hens am sure it is not supposed to

Wuzz - have had to give up bf yesterday as the little ** (person) keeps biting my nip! tis very sore. Was only doing 1 at night anyway - still it is quite but better than being nippless.

DH came home yesterday with lots of lovely wee Chinese satin dresses and pjs for her and she gave him a HUGE . Was very cute. She is waving now and saying Da da and hello.

Youngmum - suppose it is something we need to get used to - being worried all the time! Do you think it gets less worrying when you are more experienced? (Gingme?)

1 of my cats is having his tooth removed today - hope he is ok. He is 11 now and mky eldest.

WEll must go and play with littly.

Hi all. First time I ve been on pc all day. Woke up at 3 am with a migrane so Ive felt pretty s**T ALL DAY.
No Rumple it doesnt matter how many you have you still worry. All babies are different and do just as many dangerous things if that makes sense. Lo gets on all fours now and rocks back and forth. Dh and I keep saying 'come on Edwrad, come on Edward'. He just smiles and flops back down on to his belly. Little monkey. Well Im off for a bath while Im feeling a bit more human
Off to my parents next week for a rest. Looking forward to it.

youngmum-hope ur lo is better now, x

lol at your pole dancing classes rumple, sounds so funny!!!

kai is sort of waving now aswell, no more words other than dad though!

lovely pics btw, she's gorgeous!

EmilyandLola · 22/05/2007 08:37

morning all, got a list of things to do today, really cant be bothered which is pathetic of me.

Does any one ever have lazy days, then feel guilty that you didnt take LO swimming or some where stimulating, yesterday I just layed on the floor with her and played, we only went out side for about 1/2 hour, i feel crap

gingeme · 22/05/2007 10:03

He he you make me laugh Emily. Your a busy Mum your allowed to have a lazy day every now and then. Honestly. Im sure Lola isnt going to tell you off when shes older because you didnt keep her entertained evry second of every day.
Lo's routine all up the spout at the mo. Think hes teething. Or atleast I hope thats what it is. He was up at 5 this morning. Had a bottle then went back to sleep.
Im feeling a little better today headache wise. Shouldnt be here really. Had a whole day off pc yesterdat and felt much better.
Anyway my parents will be here at 12 so gonna push the hoover round now.
Take care all. xx

hi, been looking at all the montages. All the babies are sooo cute and what big eyes they all have!

Wuzzle - i bf dd till she was 1 with plenty of teeth! the first teeth that come thru are usually bottom ones and their tongue goes over them so not a prob. I am still bf lo, as in hosp i had to express and they tube fed him. Whenhe was getting better they wanted me to top him up with high calorie formula but he was very disgusted with bottles, so looks like i'll be feeding him for a year too!

Youngmum - scary business when they are ill isn't it, they like to keep us on our toes and not get complacent!

Swizzler - wise words, think i will do a first aid course (not done one for years), although somehow in the drama of what happened i managed to do absolutely the right thing - never knew i was so level headed.

Emily - i have way too many lazy days, make the most of it now, when baby can talk they will be telling you what they want to do!

we have slight rolling over here, no teeth and weaning has taken a backward step, other than that, all is well. LO had dressing change yesterday and is healing well, next one on thurs.

wuzzlefraggle · 22/05/2007 12:25

I have loads of lazy days, lol. but i dont feel guilty coz i keep the baby entertained. Its quality time and she loves it. Please dont feel bad about it Emily.

Queeestion time when would you think is old enough to take a baby to a zoo or community farm, that type of day out??

Where do you all take your Lo's and how do they react/behave?

I dont think that Anna is too fond of her pram . anyone else's lo not too keen on it??
